SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS-Chapter 876 - 874: DINNER DATE WITH WAYLON
Chapter 876: Chapter 874: DINNER DATE WITH WAYLON
Casa Palmera Villa Complex
Villa No. 17
" ..... Oh, thank you for believing,
For every tear and every dream.
You’re the heartbeat in my song,
With you, I know where I belong.
Together we’re shining, hand in hand,
In this beautiful dance, we’ll make our stand ...."
In this amazing villa, and open spaced kitchen, so large and was designed so perfectly well. A young man was singing along to an Atharian song that he knows by heart as he prepared ingredients for the meal, he never thought he would be preparing in his life.
That young man was none other than Waylon who had moved into his first villa after his identity was finally revealed.
He picked the Casa Palmera complex, simply because it was new, the villas were on point and above all, he didn’t have to face the other scions from the other major families. Although some of them had already purchased villas in the complex already.
Listening to Diamond’s song, Shining Star, Waylon happily prepared for the meal wholeheartedly, eager to impress and all the unsettling emotions caused by Jackie complexly vanished that very moment.
Why bother himself thinking about an unnecessary person?

Meanwhile, on Diamond’s side, after the practice which went very well, she listened to a lengthy report from Ivy which detailed tomorrow’s plans. She saw the final décor of the stadium as well as received some extra tickets she could give to her friends.
"For the merch, we plan to set tables outside for the fans without tickets. That way, they can start buying as early as they can. While those with the tickets can buy inside the stadium."
Diamond didn’t object to that at all. As long as the money was made, who cared about where the tables were made?
"I have hired a stylist team. They will be in charge of everything tomorrow," Ivy added and Diamond recalling that she would need to change a lot according to Ivy’s suggestion, found that not that bad.
"The live broadcast will start at 9 am straight until late. We shall be providing lunch and there will be free water and snacks before the final event."
Ivy had everything sorted out, and all she had to do was nod her head, add a few suggestions when they were needed and so forth.
After all that was done, she had Ivy take her to the Casa Palmera villa complex where she would be meeting up with Waylon.
At the same time, she was given an opportunity to take a closer look at the villa she was rewarded with previously.
After the villa was completed, Andrea finished the process online and even hired a housekeeper to look temporarily after it.
She had been too busy to go and check it. Since she didn’t have any plans for the house so far, she was even lazier to go and see it. But now, she felt compelled to go and see it. After all, her villa was just a villa away from Waylon.
That was what she called fate.
When they arrived at the complex, it was already dark but reasonable. As a villa owner, she simply showed her villa card and passed through the gates unimpeded.
She had Ivy take her to her villa first. She didn’t want thoughts of the villa to disturb her date with Waylon later.
When they got there, the housekeeper wasn’t there. Since the housekeeper only comes to the villa once in a while to clean the place, there was no need for her to stay at her villa.
She used her keycard to enter the place, and she was amazed.
The villa was comparable in size to the one she was currently living in Cherry Court. So many bedrooms, entertainment facilities, and the master bedroom was epic.
There was so much room, she was even tempted to move in temporarily to the villa. After all, it wouldn’t be a crime if she did so.
’I should think about it wisely,’ she was tempted. After all, the villa complex was much closer to the CBD than her current one.
She would stay a week there and another week at the Cherry Court. Final.
After surveying the villa and finding it to her liking, she became determined to try it. She just can’t lease her villa just like that.
She might as well live in it before the ancestral home gets completed. Once it does, even if it takes five hours to go to the CBD, she would suffer driving there.
Home was always the best.
"I will see you later at home, then," Ivy respectfully said as she boarded the car.
Diamond smiled at her and waved at her. "Sure. See you later."
After that, she watched as Ivy drove away and seeing the taillights, she took out her phone and started sending the invitations she received though it was completely unnecessary.
She had invited these friends already. It was just a matter of who was available on the day and who wasn’t.
For example, Richard promised to come when she talked about it. He would be arriving tomorrow just like the twins and their mother.
From the capital city, her friend, Essy, from the Lindwens family was coming tomorrow. From Frin city, there was Selena, the young author was doing miracles and had been busy writing a new book which had not yet been published yet.
The others were Clarissa, Raize, Tiana and lastly Dewei.
Although the majority of these friends were the busy kind, they had promised to come. Nonetheless, she still sent the official invitations to them and they responded swiftly.
She chuckled as she responded to their messages, and after getting reassurance that they were coming. After doing so, she put her phone back and made her way to villa number 17 while humming a love song tune.
After walking a distance, she shortly found herself walking in the driveway, heading towards the villa. Since she was going to someone else’s place, she took out her phone again and made a call.
After a few rings, that voice she loved hearing rang into her ears.
[Dee, what’s up?]
"I am outside, come and pick me up," she said directly and heard Waylon exclaiming before hurriedly responding.
[I will be out in a moment. Wait for me.]
And the call was hung.
She chuckled lightly, wondering how flustered he should be right now. Although he tries to hide his feelings, Diamond could see that he was very fond of her and that’s exactly what she wanted to see from a man she was crushing on. The feelings should be mutual at least, right?

Meanwhile, inside the villa, Waylon was indeed flustered. He didn’t expect her to arrive before he was completely done.
The food was already, but he had just left the shower. He was in the middle of dolling himself when he received the call. Knowing that she was outside, that put pressure on him. He hurriedly finished putting on clothes. Once he was done, he dashed out of the bedroom and took the three stairs at a time to reach downstairs.
Once he was there, he took in a deep breath first while calming himself down. His heart was still pounding from all the speeding. He didn’t want her to meet him when he was in such a state.
It didn’t take long before he was feeling much better. Looking like a gentleman, Waylon started making his way towards the door but before getting there, he picked up the bouquet he had prepared beforehand and continued.
When he was at the door, he pulled the handle open and there she was, looking as humble as she could be.
Badum. Badum.
His treacherous heart started thumping like crazy upon seeing the smile in her eyes.
"You are here!" he said to her with a smile, while inwardly scolding his heart for wanting to make a fool out of him.
Diamond’s eyes squinted as she looked at him. "Um, I hope I didn’t keep you waiting," she responded, her face hidden beneath the mask.
"Haha, you didn’t and even if you did, I wouldn’t mind," he truthfully said, though his tone was laced with flirtation which made Diamond’s cheeks heat up. "These are for you by the way," he added as he passed the bouquet to her.
Diamond happily accepted the flowers and thanked him.
"Please, come in," he ushered her in and she happily stepped into the villa, eager to see what kind of place her prospective lover was living in.
Following behind her, Waylon was nervous as he made a small chat which Diamond happily engaged in.
"How many people live here?" wanting to access the situation, Diamond asked as Waylon pulled the chair for her at the dining table.
"Just me but the housekeeper and the maids come once in a while when I am not here," he truthfully answered and Diamond loved hearing such an answer.
"Is the house not too big for you?"
"Not really. As long as my mind is occupied, I barely notice."
Diamond nodded her head, agreeing to that as well. When you have a lot of things to do, some simple things won’t be easily noticed.
