SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS-Chapter 788 - 786: SISTERS’ MEETING
Chapter 788: Chapter 786: SISTERS’ MEETING
While Ivy was in her room, Diamond went to the study, where she started drafting her schedule for next month.
After the incident of Amber City, this time, Diamond wanted to be certain of certain events. That way, she won’t forget ever again.
Without further ado, she started with what was near.
Gael would be returning to the country on the 1st of May and staying in the country for two weeks. She didn’t know when he would visit her, but it should be within that period. So, she decided not to leave the city during that period at all costs.
The timetable was kept open in case anything happened.
The payments from the platforms all start from the 10th of each month, which means that the projects could be done from the 16th up to twentyish depending on when the money would report.
Diamond wanted the projects to be done completely before the 20th. That way, she would attend Richard’s birthday on time and also host the concert she promised.
With that in mind, she set the dates from sixteen to twenty for the fan projects.
Backtracking on the dates, she couldn’t help but recall that she was invited by Dean to an auction on the 14th of May. So, she added that to the calendar. As for when to depart for Strawford City, that would depend on Gael’s itinerary.
For the 22nd to 24th of May, she left those dates for Richard. She wanted to spend some time with him and get to know him on a deeper level than this online thing. So that was added.
As for the concert itself, she planned to host it during the weekend. After putting all that on the caldera, the date that was remaining was the 27th, so she put that down and marked it important.
As for the other dates of May, she would fill them as she goes.
Making this calendar helped her greatly and through it, she could now find and book a venue with peace of mind.
Not only that, but with the dates which were empty, it made her see which dates she could use to interview the staff she needed.
After looking at the empty dates, she found two good dates for the next round and happily summoned Andrea to send her emails to the applicants who passed the first round.
So, on that day, all over the world, the applicants received emails with the same content except for names and times of when they would be having their interviews.
Their reactions were different, but that wasn’t something that Diamond could see.
When that was happening, Diamond was standing outside the villa with a smile on her face as she looked at the familiar red Cagda gliding towards the villa.
’Ruby is back!’
Diamond was in a joyful mood as she watched her sister coming closer. It’s been a while since she saw Ruby in person. Both of them were very busy, and when it came to school, Diamond didn’t want to bring her sister down.
Seeing Ruby dropping by for a visit without an earlier announcement, Diamond was on cloud nine. She had to ditch her work just to welcome Ruby.
Honk. Honk.
Ruby honked playfully as she peeped her head out of the car window, calling, "I will see you inside, sis!" as she drove past Diamond while heading to the underground parking.
Diamond chuckled as she shook her head helplessly. After seeing the car disappearing, she went back inside, where she sat down in the living room while waiting for Ruby.
Ruby appeared moments later, holding a bag and a bright smile on her face.
"Sis!" she exclaimed happily as she trotted towards Diamond.
Diamond flashed a grin at Ruby and, without standing up, opened her arms.
Ruby, upon seeing that, threw herself at Diamond, who carefully caught Ruby before patting the younger sister on the back.
"How is my baby sis doing?" Diamond asked softly, her tone full of doting.
Ruby inhaled deeply the familiar scent of her sister and felt refreshed.
’My sister smells the best!’ a smile blossomed on her face as she gently pried herself away from her.
The two sisters looked at each other smilingly without saying a word for a while before Ruby broke into a hearty laughter while propping herself down.
Diamond rolled her eyes nonchalantly at Ruby, though the corner of her lips was tugged into a doting smile.
After making herself comfortable, Ruby asked, "Sis, how were your trips? Was everything fine?"
Diamond stretched her hands as she answered, "Um. It was fine. Gained a lot and learnt a lot."
"Oh! That’s good to hear. Did you bring me something?" Ruby asked expectantly as she turned her head to look at Diamond.
Diamond smiled helplessly when she heard that and with a chuckle, rose to her feet saying, "If you want them, then follow me!"
Upon hearing that, Ruby jolted to her feet quickly before running after Diamond, chirping noisily. "You really brought me something! What is it? Is it clothes, bags, jewelry or food? What is it?"
Auntie Janet, watching the two sisters, smiled adoringly and couldn’t help but think about her daughter.
’You are doing well, right?’ thinking about how she didn’t want to rely on Diamond but do something on her own.
She just hoped that her daughter wasn’t facing any troubles. It was quite troublesome out there.
Meanwhile, the sisters went to the top floor and Ruby was very excited going to her sister’s bedroom. It was a room she barely visited. She was curious about how much the closet had grown in the period she hadn’t set foot into it.
And surely, when she entered the closet, she couldn’t help but twitch upon seeing the new stuff she had never seen before.
"If you are interested in something, just pick it," Diamond said encouragingly, hoping for Ruby to lessen her burdens.
Ruby’s eyes lit up when she heard that. Without waiting for Diamond to repeat her words, she was already rummaging through the hangers, looking for something that suited her taste.
While she did so, her mouth was never shut as she excitedly talked to Diamond.
"Sis, what are your plans for the holiday?"
"Which holiday?"
"The one when my semester ends!"
"I am not sure, but I guess I will be busy. Will have to see. Did you want something?"
"Not really. Wanted to visit our parents for a while. I want to work during the holiday as well."
"Oh~ it’s good that you have brought up this topic. They were also asking about this matter as well. They said that we can spend a short time with them and do whatever we want!"
"Really?! That’s good then. I will spare a week and then return to work," Ruby said excitedly, filled with relief at how understanding her parents were.
Diamond smiled at that as well before asking, "Where are you planning to work?"
Ruby stopped what she was doing when she heard that and turned to face her sister, her eyes filled with confusion. "I am not sure, but I want to go where I can learn a lot and get involved with something serious."
Diamond furrowed her brows when she heard that, thinking of the many enterprises she owned. After going through them, all of them were good. So, she didn’t know where to put Ruby except, "Then think hard about what you want to do. You still have a month before the time comes. If you are confused, then look at the D-ANGEL app. You can see which company suits you through reading the staff’s posts."
When Ruby heard that, her eyes lit up. Since she used to work for the foundation, she was part of that staff app. So, she could access information related to several companies under Diamond. She would just check through their posts where she could go and what she could do.
"Thanks, sis. I will surely do so!" Ruby thanked as her eyes turned into crescents, and Diamond simply smiled back.
Ruby rummaged through the closet and found several new and worn clothes she was attracted to and took them. On top of that, she received the clothes and fabrics Diamond bought from Country Y, some trinkets from Amber City, as well as the bracelet she won on the auction.
Ruby was happy to receive the gifts. Although it wasn’t her first time to do so, it still felt great being gifted something.
Diamond helped Ruby to her room. However, before they could get there, Ivy, who had been busy looking into the files sent, came out, coming face to face with the sisters.
Ruby, upon seeing a new face, immediately looked at her sister with an inquisitive gaze, ’Who is she?’
And Diamond felt that Ivy’s timing was truly the best.
Since the two had bumped into each other, Diamond didn’t waste any time and introduced the two to each other.
Ruby was shocked to learn that Ivy was a life assistant. She couldn’t help but wonder where her sister found her people. They just pop up like ghosts at times. Moreover, they were all pretty. Wasn’t she afraid of letting such kinds of people work for her?
Anyway, as long as Diamond was happy.
Who was she to complain?
