Shinwa Densetsu no Eiyuu no Isekaitan-Volume 1, Afterword
Volume 1, Afterword
Thank you for picking up The Otherworldly Tales of a Mythological, Legendary Hero Vol 1. π§πππ²ππππ·oπ·ππ.πππ
Iβd like to tell you a story that inspired me to write this work.
Ever since I was a child, Iβve had the most delusional imagination of anyone in the world, and there were times when I thought about becoming a manga artist. But I donβt have the patience. I donβt have the patience; I really donβt. Letβs call it boredom. β¦There was no way I could become a manga artist, so the years just passed by idly and idly as I plodded along. ππ³β―πwπ¦π£π£π°Ρ΅π¦π.cπΌπΆ
One day, I had a dramatic encounter with a bookstore. It was a light novel, a novel for middle and high school students. Ohβ¦ this is the way to do it. Then write the world I want in words. What a great idea! But I didnβt have the ability to write, and more importantly, I couldnβt even write 100 words. I was looking for a good story to writeβ¦ that would improve my typing speed and my writing skills when I came across the posting site, βLetβs become a novelist.β
Despite the fact that my writing was poor, I received the support of many readers. Thanks to that, I was able to get a call from my editor, S-sama, and we ended up publishing the book. β¦Honestly, Iβm afraid itβs too good to be true. Iβm scared every day that thereβs going to be a backlash somewhere. Iβm writing this afterword, hoping it wonβt happenβ¦
There isnβt one, is there? Please, God!
Yes, God is a myth. There are many myths scattered around the world, and they have had a huge influence on this work. Rather, this work was born due to my desire to write mythology of my own. I wrote this work with the full force of my chuunibyou mind and didnβt hit the brakes, but I hope it resonated with you. Iβve heard that the number of chuunibyou is on the rise every year, so Iβm sure it resonates with you.
Finally, Iβd like to give my thanks.
Thank you to my editor, S-sama, for your efforts in publishing this book. My thanks to Miyuki Ruria-sama for the beautiful cover and the beautiful illustrations, based on my lack of taste in appearance and clothing settings. To the readers who have been reading this book since βLetβs Become a Novelist.β To the readers who have picked up this book. The editors, proofreaders, and designers.
My colleagues at work have listened to me, my family, who have supported me to this point, and my grandmother.
Thanks to all of you, I was able to get my work out there. I want to thank you all.
Iβm going to continue spreading my chuunibyou syndrome with full throttle, so please continue to support me in the future as well.
