She Has Three Little Treasures: Fake Heiress, Yet Captures The Tycoon's Heart-Chapter 932: I Will Never Let You Hold a Wedding with Someone Else
In the car on the way back.
Raina North sat with Elias Hawthorne in the back seat.
Raina crossed her arms, leaning back in her seat, her pretty face was cold and tense.
She waited one minute, two minutes, three minutes... Half an hour went by, and the man beside her sat there like a wooden figure, without the slightest movement.
Raina cast a sidelong glance at him.
Elias’s expression remained unchanged.
She looked again, still no change.
Unable to bear it any longer, Raina slapped Elias’s arm, "Hey! What’s wrong with you?"
"Hmm?"
Elias raised an eyebrow slightly, a puzzled expression on his face, his voice low and seductive, enough to send a shiver through one’s ears.
Raina, however, had no intention of appreciating this male beauty. She glared at him angrily and said, "Elias Hawthorne, be honest, if I hadn’t insisted on coming with you just now, were you really planning to let Corvus Hades take me away!"
"Hmm."
Raina was incredulous, her voice involuntarily rising, "Hmm? You dare to say hmm? Elias Hawthorne, have you lost your mind, actually wanting to let another man take your wife away! Why are you so noble? Do you want to personally organize a wedding for me and that guy Corvus?"
Elias came to his senses to see Raina glaring at him with eyes wide like a bristling hedgehog, and couldn’t help but chuckle, "That’s out of the question, as long as I’m alive, I won’t let you marry another man."
The fire in Raina’s heart eased a little, but she still wasn’t satisfied. She snorted coldly, "It sounds nice, but the problem is you just planned to let Corvus take me away!"
The more Raina spoke, the angrier she became, feeling like a bone was stuck in her throat.
Elias looked at the furious Raina helplessly and said in a low voice, "That’s because I was afraid of hurting you."
"Afraid of hurting me?" Raina sneered, "Since you’re afraid of hurting me, why don’t you just hand me over to Corvus? With him, the Insect Venom would settle down, and the Love Venom wouldn’t need to be dealt with. Isn’t that the best of both worlds? So why won’t you let him and me have a wedding? What, are you really that selfish?"
"Yes." Elias couldn’t help pulling Raina into his arms, "I really am selfish, Raina. When it comes to you, I just can’t be generous."
Just thinking about how Corvus so casually touched Raina earlier filled him with rage. If not for a shred of rationality left, he might have chopped Corvus into pieces on the spot.
But he couldn’t.
Raina still had the sub-venom in her body. It didn’t matter if Corvus died, but he couldn’t watch Raina get hurt.
"Hmph, don’t think you can just say a few nice words and this matter will be over." Raina glared at Elias, "I won’t listen to your excuses this time."
Elias looked at Raina in annoyance and gently stroked her hair, "Alright, alright, whatever you want."
This was his little treasure. How else could he indulge her?
"Don’t think I don’t know you’re pretending."
Elias said nothing, just held Raina tightly.
Such a strong man, yet his arms were trembling.
The unease in Raina’s heart vanished without a trace, and she embraced Elias in return, her expression relaxed, "Don’t worry, nothing will happen. It’s just a poisonous little bug. Did you forget? I’m the Ghost Doctor, quite the expert in poison. However, besides dispelling the venom, there’s something else that can’t be ignored."
Today’s incident happened ultimately because of the rules of The Umbral Zone, allowing certain people to act lawlessly with a bit of power!
