Pei Yansi got out of the car, a poor look on his face, “Didn’t I tell you to wait for me at home?”
Shen Heyu sneered, her eyes full of mockery towards him, “Home? Pei Yansi, do I have a home with you?”

Yuexue by her side saw this man once again and became irritated; she rushed forward and slapped him not too lightly nor too heavily, “Get lost! You scoundrel! Stay away from my mom!”
Because of her crying, her voice still carried a heavy nasal tone.
Only then did Pei Yansi notice the little creature by Shen Heyu’s side.
He looked down and saw Yuexue’s cheeks were rosy, her eyes red, clearly showing she had been hit.
His eyes turned cold as he bent down and scooped Yuexue up from the ground, placing her in the crook of his arm.
“Who dares to hit Pei Yansi’s daughter?”
Shen Heyu thought he was trying to snatch the child from her and rushed forward to take Yuexue back, “Give me the child! Pei Yansi, what are you pretending for? Wasn’t it you who sent someone to snatch Yuexue away?”
Pei Yansi frowned, “I only told Zhao Jin to bring Yuexue to your side, when did I tell someone to snatch her? Besides, she’s my daughter to begin with, how could it be considered snatching?”
As his words ended, he saw Shen Heyu’s eyes turn bloodshot as if she was about to cry, his brow furrowed, “Get in the car and we’ll talk, let’s first take Yuexue to the hospital to get checked out.”
