Shattering Humanity-Chapter 385: A Silent Preparation For War
"Wisdom has built her house; she has carved out her seven pillars.

MamMon DæMon: "May I ask you something, since we are in a moment of apocalyptic diplomacy?"
There is not a ’yes’ or ’no’ which comes from the asked party. So MamMon asks anyway.
MamMon DæMon: "I had noticed something with my sister’s 2nd Generation sidekick while they were visiting earlier, and I must ask you, when you first saw the Yang Vessel, did he steal your heart too?"
The collected Sheriff blushes from the question and then her flush face becomes even more pink after remembering the instance when Katsu had jumped in front of Shelly before their fight.
Jesse James: "I was infatuated with his bravery and benevolence as the weakest of three, but I don’t see how that has anyth-"
MamMon DæMon: "I’ll take that as a ’yes’."
Jesse James’ nose twitches in irritation from the attempted power move of interruption. Inside her too long trench coat sleeves, both her fists ball up.
Knowing she has slightly triggered her opponent, the original DæMon chuckles softly.
MamMon DæMon: "Forgive my prying, I forget sometimes that the act of falling in love is fickle for some.
For I too have fallen in love. Not with the same man as you, but his gorgeous rival. "
With both their coverings flapping in a strong, constant swoops of wind, the DæMon seals the deal to initiate war.
MamMon DæMon: "With that being said, I have had plans to defeat Skalmönd for hundreds of years. Way before you were born.
In those years, I had never planned for her to acquire an allegiance with someone so conspiratorial, nevermind believing she would fall in love with him.
So I warn you, Ms. Sheriff Jesse James, if you do not take that young boy out tomorrow, whom you’ve been ’infatuated’ with, he will flatten all your territory and your people before you can do it to his."

{Two Minute To Midnight}
[Takamagahara’s Captain’s Room]
In the bathroom to both Katsu and Saku’s shared room, Katsu has his head down while he stands in the shower, it is clear that he is thinking deep while the hot water rains down on his jet black hair.
Katsu(thinking): *In a few hours...
Only in a few hours until...*
His eyes move towards a shampoo bottle. The young captain grabs the half empty bottle and purposely drops it. The plastic container bangs off the porcelain at his feet and he pretends to get hurt.
Katsu: "Owww!"
Though his tone is goofy, his face is stuck on it’s stern complexion. He picks up the bottle and squeezes a bit into his hand, then puts the bottle back down, lathering the portion in his hand into his hair.
All the dirt and grim from the day, stuck to his hair grey up the suds that drop.
He rinsed his soapy hair under the water and all grey falls out. The green eye of the Izanagi leader watches the dirty water circle, then disappear down the drain.
Katsu(thinking): *There’s never been a way or an opening for me to warn everyone, without looking suspicious.
At times like these, Shelly can get killed just from her trying to help the others."
In the same way as Saku’s and Itsuka’s outside the bathroom as well as Shelly’s in the other room, Katsu’s HFF watch goes off with a single *BEEP*.
Katsu(thinking): *I have only 6 and a half hours to think of something... ANYTHING."
He looks at the device around his wrist, sees the time and immediately gets an expression of remembering.
The young man turns off the water and easily grabs the towel off the rack.
He quickly dries his hair and activates his Anjell Eye, it’s Yang aura emitting from the blessed symbiote.
As he gets dressed in his pajamas, and without saying a word, Shelly can be heard trying to contact him through his ability to communicate with someone covered in a SoulSeiõrShield.
Shelly(telepathy):*...Tsu?
Kaaaatsuuuu, are you there? Our watches went off.*
There is a bit of sadness in her mental voice.
Shelly: *We...We’re supposed to-*
Katsu(telepathy): *I’m here Shell!
Sorry, was in the shower. Saku took a little longer than he was supposed to.*
In her room, Shelly is sitting against the wall next to Itsuka’s bed. The sound of her purpose finally responding makes her heart skip a beat.
Shelly(telepathy): *That sounds about right.
Itsuka went next door to talk to him, since Laban and Princess Rebekah are asleep.*
Back in his bathroom, Katsu, now fully dressed, moves over to the fogged up mirror above the sink. He uses his towel to clear up the condensed moisture so he can view his reflection.
Katsu(telepathy): *What about you? What are you doing, Shelly?
Are you ready for bed?"
There is a moment of pausing silence from his adopted sister’s end while Katsu grabs his tooth brush and tooth paste. No sooner his adopted sister finally responds. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
While sitting against the wall, Shelly is now clutching her diary to her chest like the adorable, innocent young woman she truly is.
Shelly(telepathy): *I was...I was writing in my diary about the fun we all had while playing baseball, and how you taught me even more about sports that I hadn’t even known you were that interested in.
I wrote about how you taught me how to throw a curve ball, and how great you were in the outfield.*
Shelly’s happy attitude through just her telepathic voice makes it easier for Katsu to smile while he brushes his teeth.
Shelly(telepathy): *I’ll obviously never forget today, but you made it a happy day for me Katsu...Th-Thank you...*
Without the need to use his mouth while brushing his teeth, Katsu gleefully responds via his Communication Eye of Wisdom.
Katsu(telepathy): *Haha, no problem Shelly.
I had a lot of fun too!
Oh yea, I forgot to ask again, how is your arm?
You did throw a lot of pitches today.*
Hearing Shelly giggle through their connected thoughts makes the young man’s heart flutter as his spits out his toothpaste.
Shelly(telepathy): *I can throw another 1,000 pitches if it’s for you Katsu...*
The plotting Izanagi Captain puts his toothbrush back into it’s cup as he rinses out his mouth with water. He seems to get an important idea.
Thinking to himself, Katsu looks at his surprised reflection, and a contorted smile forms on his face.
Katsu(telepathy): *Well do you want to go back to the field in the morning and practice before everyone gets up?!*
From the position in her room, Shelly is surprised by both the offer and lightly snoring Laban mumbling in her sleep with Princess Rebekah cuddled in her arms.
Laban DaeMon(mumbling): "Mrmm, of course you can finish Saki.
I want your bayyybiiii."
Weirded out by the unconscious thoughts of the ex-Don of Roronora City, Shelly blushes and then, once again, physically nods without anybody but her knowing about their early morning date.
Shelly: *Sh- Sure, Katsu. I would love that.*
In the bathroom, Katsu smiles at his successfully coordinated planning.
Katsu(telepathy): *Great!
I’ll wake you up in 6 hours.*
