Shattering Humanity-Chapter 122: What Has Saku Been Up To?
10 minutes before Don Laban shows up in front of the Izanami Division.
Saku with his IceEye in 2nd Stage, a black aura with a white streak looks around at the 3 clones of himself and the AIG of the original.They are by themselves away from the rest of the group and their ’prisoner’.
Saku: "Okay. Shit. I knew this was gunna be weird, I’m basically just talking to myself. We all know the plan right, you’re all me and not the weakened versions like Scylia’s clones. So I don’t want any memories of any of you getting your asses whipped easily."
One of the clones nods, checks to make sure the clone of his SunSword works. The orange blade glows, he sheathes it and begins running, in the direction of Roronora City.
Saku then looks at the ground and a portal begins opening. He gets a painful grimace on his face while using two abilities at once but the portal continues growing.
The sign of an old garbage yard with the sign ’Hanabi Dump’ above, can be seen. The portal is on the wall of a building just across the street. The same dump that he and Friend hid in his "underground bunker" during the invasion.
The 2nd Clone hops through but lands on his side in pain, forgetting the difference in the portal’s axis.
Saku Clone: "Ow. Dammit!"
A growl can be heard from the other side. As the portal is quickly closing, a slash and resheathing of the SunSword is heard before running footsteps.
The portal finally closes and the real Saku has his eye in 2nd Stage with ’Yin’ aura. He is breathing heavy and sweat drips to the ground in the grass protected by the trees from alien snow.
His 3rd and final clone is basically watching himself struggling. The clone turns around with a sigh and the sound of pissing is heard.
Saku Clone: "Alright, I get it. I’ll stay here and watch over them, lemme just actually empty the tank real quick. Since I’m the one who got it in my blatter. Can’t fathom how THAT works in all this ’superpowers alien eye’ bull shit."
The real Saku, his green human eye closed, still catching his breath looks over at his pissing clone with his open IceEye, then at Itsuka in the distance through the shrubbery.
Saku: "It feels like I just did five... 100 yard shuttle runs. And I still feel like. I’m jogging, but... I’m not moving.I’m a little out of shape. When this is over. Imma have to start training again. Get my strength and stamina up."
He takes a deep breath and opens his eyes. Another portal opens, and again, Saku is in pain while he begins breathing heavily again.This time, the recognizable sight of the Sanpaku underground entrance is on the ground.
Saku breathing heavily, crawls into the hole in the ground and falls to the portal. From the real Saku’s side, the clone can barely be heard over the end of his piss.
Saku Clone: "Get D and that bitch here, quick. Fuck how tired and hurt you feel, make sure you don’t see her dead with the new ability YOU got it? I got it? WE got it?"
The portal closes while the clone ponders its shared existence.
Saku is panting and thinks about what... he said... to himself?He gets up. Feeling like he now just ran the length of 10 football fields and is still jogging.
Saku: "He’s...I’m right."No matter if I sit down and try to rest, I’m still going to keep this clone ability going, I need to outplay that dumb bitch. YOU HEAR THAT!? I KNOW YOU’RE LISTENING DUMB HOE! I’M GUNNA BEAT YOU WITHOUT KNOWING YOUR PLAYBOOK! SO GO AHEAD AND READ MINE!"
The sun peaks out from the clouds and Saku suddenly remembers.
Saku: "Oh, yea...while using the Clone ability, can I-?"
He starts looking at the sun, he grimaces... but not from using Taylor’s ’Photosynthesis Eye’ just from looking at the sun. A slight golden sun aura starts surrounding him.
Saku: "Huh, guess it would’ve been better to find a spot to charge up before starting with the clones."
After a quick two minute charge, he takes a deep breath and begins actually jogging into ’Tomodachi Town’. The weight of his real SunSwords banging at his hips and thighs. He starts talking to himself in his head.
Saku: *I need to get to them. I know where the dress shop Daisuki was in before I started using these clone powers.*
As he runs through his rival’s side in search of Daisuki, the 1st clone runs through the woods on its way to Roronora City. The clone looks to his left as he runs by Don Laban and Hathor walking towards the 3rd clone and the Izanami Division.
As the Don turns her head to hand the ’blunt’ to her assistant and before she takes her hat off, she looks directly at the clone through the trees with a smile. It doesn’t faze the clone of the Division Leader, and he faces forward. Mind and body set on his own designated mission.
Meanwhile, the 2nd clone runs along the fence line of the Hanabi City dump.
Saku Clone: "1...2...3..4..."
As he runs he looks back and remembers seeing the Icemen chasing him and Friend right by his side at the time.
Saku Clone: "...5...6...7...8..."
He chuckles, thinking about how much has happened since then.
Saku Clone: *I still had two green eyes back then, too. And Friend was blind in his right eye that got consumed by that IceEye.*
Saku Clone: "...9...10..."S
Saku’s Clone gets to the 11th pole on the barbwire top fence, he lifts the loose chain link and easily crouches underneath with a *CLI-CLANK* behind him.
The clone of the Izanami Division walks through the old junk yard. He gets to a familiar looking burnt out and damaged car with a piece of plywood besides it. The clone of the young man lifts the plywood to reveal the ladder to his underground "bunker". He climbs down to the dark abyss.Once he gets to the bottom, the clone starts searching for the generator. A *BUMP* and *THUD* are heard.
Saku Clone: "Ah. Son of a-!"
His hand grabs the cord and he pulls it three times to get the roar of the generator to start. Doing so, reveals the automatic lights that surround the upper perimeter of his hollowed out and renovated school bus. Dead plants in the corner next to his couch. An empty dog bowl but a bowl half full of water next to it.
His old desk clean and tidy on top, a collar with the name ’Friend’ stitched into it. Saku smiles thinking about finally finding the collar. But soon his smile turns into straight fear, shock and horror.
Cut to the first Saku clone finally making it to Roronora City’s chain link fenced border, hidden in the trees out of sight of two guards out in front of the entrance.
Saku Clone: "Okay, I’m here, hopefully now the real me can create a portal and fast travel ba-"
He cuts himself off the same face of shock and horror hits his face as he then looks back in the direction he came from.
Finally, the real Saku is barely glowing with ’sun energy’ and back to breathing heavy while running through a half destroyed shopping plaza. From a distance, he can see Daisuki and Charybdis. The little brother is holding a bag while Daisuki is helping his new fiancee out of the dress shop through a broken display window. Char is the first to notice the Division Leader running towards them by himself.
Char: "Oh what the hell?"
Daisuki and Scylia both look over and get surprised. They all get together and let Saku catch his breath. However, once he does, his face goes to complete horror realizing the memories of his 3rd clone that was supposed to be watching over his division.
Scylia: "Saku, honey, what’s wrong?! Where’s your team?"
Daisuki: "Yea, why the hell did you come all the way out here by yourself?"
Saku swallows his spit with wide terrified eyes and barely gets out his horrible realization.
Saku: "I’m going to visit Roronora while their dictator is out fighting Itsuka. Can you guys go check on her for me? Cuz she’s gunna hurt me. Really bad..."
