Chapter 828: Chapter 828: Take Care of Me—The All-Inclusive Kind

"Fine, you win."

Su Wanxin didn’t want to argue with him; as long as he was happy.

Fu Shihan moved a bit and suddenly wanted to hug her.

He stretched out his long arm, swept under the pillow with precision, and touched a folder.

Instinctively, he took the item out. Su Wanxin turned her head, reflexively grabbed it back and held it tightly under her, afraid he would see it.

Seeing her reaction, Fu Shihan became curious about what it was, even though he initially thought it was just her company’s document.

Sometimes things get busy, and you need to handle some company matters before bed. That’s normal.

It’s understandable to forget something under the pillow after falling asleep.

But what was this reaction?

"What is that?" Fu Shihan asked, curious. "Let me see."

"No." Su Wanxin shook her head. "It’s mine."

"I know it’s yours. I’ll just take a quick look and give it back."

"No peeking."

"If you keep hiding it like that, should I just take it?"

Gentlemen talk things out, but he wasn’t a gentleman. He needed to do the opposite.

Su Wanxin lay tightly on the bed, protecting that thing. Fu Shihan saw that he couldn’t win without force, so he just went for it.

Su Wanxin struggled and resisted, and the two of them played around on the bed for a while. Eventually, Fu Shihan succeeded.

He flipped over and rolled off the bed, standing on the ground with the document, quickly flipping through it. After a few glimpses, his eyes flickered back to her.

"Why is this... with you?"

He was familiar with the document content because he had someone make it—a duplicate.

He had given it to Qi Ran at first, to show his stance and sincerity, never expecting to see it with her.

"My mom gave it to me," Su Wanxin replied quietly.

"Why hasn’t it been signed?" Fu Shihan glanced at the first and last pages. "Not even for money?"

"Nope."

"What, is my money too hot to handle?"

"Scalding," Su Wanxin answered affirmatively. "Haven’t you been complaining about being broke lately? I’m afraid you’ll cling to me."

If that document got signed, he’d have even more reason to hang around her.

No money for food, gas, clothes, or drinks.

Su Wanxin foresaw all his tricks and was determined not to sign the document.

Fu Shihan clicked his tongue, a bit disappointed. He thought it would have been signed by now.

His peripheral vision caught a pen on the bedside table. He walked over, picked it up, returned to Su Wanxin, using a mix of coaxing and persuasion to get her to sign.

Su Wanxin firmly refused, and after more playful tussling, they both lay breathless.

"Fu Shihan, stop messing around. You know better than anyone how important this document is."

Having those shares means having a say in the company.

Once the shares are gone, those bastards on the board will cause trouble in no time.

"I won’t sign it. If you truly want me to keep it, leave the document here. Perhaps on a day when I’m in a bad mood and want to harm you, I’ll sign it."

"If the document stays here, you’ll have to support me," Fu Shihan said, resigned. "Provide everything—food, drinks, daily needs, and sleep-over."

"Where’s your shame?"

"Don’t have such a thing."

He responded without hesitation, then returned to the bed, hugging her, taking a deep breath.

He secretly thought he wouldn’t leave tonight. Sleeping while holding her felt too comfortable.

"Sorry for everything."

Lying in his arms, Su Wanxin suddenly heard him say slowly.

"Sometimes I feel so invincible, like I can conquer the world. But other times, I realize I can’t even protect someone like you."
