Chapter 22: Chapter TWENTY TWO

- HAZEL -

I have to say that I’m having fun. Sometimes, all a girl needs besides sex is her crazy roommates to boost her ego to do something crazier.

Yes, I said what I said.

Ash clonked her glass with mine, holding her phone to her face. She’s taking pictures of our drinks. I shouldn’t have alcohol but it’s weekend so I think tonight, I get a free pass. Plus, who has a problem with sneaking alcohol into a milkshake in a bar?

"Let’s take a selfie." Ash said, leaning close to my face. She closed an eye and pouted, holding her drink close to her face, below her jaw. I looked at the camera with a dull expression on my face, trying to mimick sleepy eyes. She tapped the circle on the lower part of the screen twice. Ash stared at the picture on her phone. "This is so good. I’m posting this on my story."

I sipped some milkshake out of my straw. "Sure. Works for me." I gulped and stared across the bar looking for Jasmine and Savory. I took my phone out of my purse to check the time. It’s getting late and for the first time, I’m not agitated about being outside by this time because I have people I’m with.

How I found myself in this situation is funny yet nice. Sometimes, I think my roommates are God sent because they always show up when I least expect it. It is nice to have new friends if at all.

I held the straw with my fingers and sipped out of my milkshake again, remembering how it happened.

/flashback to earlier today/

I created my tinder profile and stared at my phone with boredom written all over my face.

Now what?

I just go through the app and run through a few profiles then match?

The thought was intriguing when I first had it. Now I wonder if it was even a big deal. A sigh escaped my lips as I stared at my phone. I looked down at my thighs clothed in jeans.

Well, my pussy is hungry for some cock, and I’m going to get one. Although it craves just one person’s dick. A special kind of dick. I bit my lower lip.

My face flushed. I can’t believe I’m thinking of the reason I downloaded this app in the first place.

I dropped my cell on the desk, leaned my elbow on the books on my desk and massaged my temples. I’m exhausted.

My room door came open along with some chatter. That made me grin. My roommates sure know how to bring a crowd whenever they arrive. I thought Jasmine would be a closed off person but I was so wrong about that. She always brings her sports crew with her no matter where she is.

"I don’t know, I’ll have to find out about that. But tell coach-" Jasmine said still standing by

door. I doubt she knows I’m here yet.

I rolled my eyes with a half smile. I don’t even have enough people to call ’friends’ who id invite over to get my mind off this. The only one I know is having fun with my one night stand.

This sounds so wrong but it makes me feel less guilty.

"Oh, hey, roomie." Jasmine said. Something swooped past me and landed on her bed. That’s her bag. Jasmine was so occupied that she didn’t notice me wave.

"Hi, Jasmine." I murmured but I doubt she heard me with all the stuff going on at the door.

Jasmine snuck back to look at me. Oh, she did hear me. "You alright?"

"Mm." I said with a sigh. In fact, I’ll be honest. "Just plagued." I clapped my palm gently together, still leaning my elbow on the table and rested my head on it. I’m staring at Jasmine. She’s not even in sight at the moment.

"Give me a second." Jasmine’s thick voice trailed from the door, she’s taking to her friends who most likely didn’t come in. "Want to talk about it honey?" She asks, walking to our corner then back to the door. How she’s giving us her undivided attention each is cute.

"Won’t be a bad idea." I said, waiting for her to finish the convo with her friends. Two familiar voices slid into my ears. Just who I needed to hear. Ashlyn and Savory. I giggled. "Hello ladies." I called without moving a muscle.

I don’t think they heard me with all the chatter going on by the door. From the sound of it, it seems like Ash and Savory know Jasmine’s friends.

Ugh, why am I so lonely? I should mingle more. It’s unlike me not to. I roll my eyes with a sneer. My attention diverted to my phone and I tapped the screen, well, Tinder sure provides such things as part of the process. I smirked. The noise suddenly died down.

Savory, Ash and Jasmine lined up in front of me like soldiers. I was confused at first and pretended not to notice their presence till I realised they’re still standing there. Silently.

That’s odd. If anything, the only time they’re quiet is when they’re asleep at the same time or listening to music or watching something.

I peered at them steadily. "Yes?" I ask skeptically.

"We want to introduce you to our tradition, new girl." Savory said with a clap of her hands.

Tradition? Okay I’m lost. I gave Jasmine a confused stare. She just smiled in return. You know, bed mates are meant to have bed mates back, not do this. It’s so impromptu.

"Well?..." Fill me in already. Your stares are giving me the creeps.

"One second, we’re waiting for something." Ash said and I stared at the corners of the room in desperation. What on earth could they be possibly waiting for? Some sort of spirit animal?

"Three, two, one, come in!" Savory yelled and I heard a loud pop! I screamed because I wasn’t expecting to see ribbons flying in the air above me and people gushing into my room.

I giggled. "What is this?" I ask, enjoying the scene.

"Ash, Jas and I have known each other literally all our lives and always manage to share the same room," Savory winked at me. I know the meaning of that. Their parents either pay huge sums for it or they’re just lucky or they appeal. "And for the first time," She turns to look at Ash and Jas who are standing by her sides, "We, actually I, have seen someone we like. So this is a welcome party teacher fucker!"

I wish she didn’t scream that out but an applause rose with an uproar. Two ladies walked to me with a cardboard. "Welcome to our room Hazel." was written on it.

These ladies are so nice. Sometimes, the little things they do make me feel so good and safe. I feel so lucky each time. I love that they show how much they care about me. Even though we just met. And Jasmine is a really good person too.

"Thank you." I giggled as the cardboard was placed in front of me, over my shoulder.

Ash held out a few dollar bills, counting. "Okay, thank you." She said to one of the ladies and handed it to her. Everyone left the room.

"You guys," I stare around. "You brightened my day."

"Of course we did." Savory said as a matter of factly. She walked up to me and leaned on my shoulder. "Now get dressed, we are going to party till weekend."

"An outing is definitely what I need right now." After a good fuck. It’s everywhere on my mind.

My phone made a soft ding and I unlocked it. It’s a notification from tinder.

"You’re on tinder?" Savory gasps, I glanced at her without moving my body. She has a half grin on her face. "I keep liking you every day, new girl. Let me guess, have some toys in your boxes?" She asks folding her fingers to form an ’o’ then twisting them back and forth.

My facial expression changed when I caught on what she meant. "You seriously need to consider seeing a priest." I said to her. She shrug.

Wait, what do I wear? Where are we going?

"Any dress code?" I ask, getting up.

"Something that screams slutty." Ash responded. She’s adding blush on her cheeks.

"I’ll rather wear some tees and jeans." Jasmine said, rolling her ball in her hand. Now that I think about it, I’ve never seen her in a dress. I want to see that.

"You act like you despise dresses." Ashlyn said without turning. Jasmine walked behind her and pulled her to her chest by her waist.

"I don’t act, I don’t. Although I look good in them." Jasmine said.

Ashlyn scoffs and nudges her away. "Whatever. Put on something nice or I dress you up myself."

"Oh honey, you don’t want to try that." Jasmine laughed. I love her chemistry with Ash. Knowing they’ve been friends since forever makes me feel a bit left out because I do have that friend. And I’m having thoughts about her man.

My throat creased. I took a deep breath then exhaled. She’s enjoying her weekend and so should I, even though it means casual fun. Besides, a girl like me doesn’t need tinder to lore a man. I do it naturally.

/Present day/

Savory walked to our table. Music is blaring into my ears and I feel so high right now. "To be honest," I raised my voice so they can hear me, "This is the most fun I’ve had in days." I blurt out and stood.

My body movement is unstable. Yup, the alcohol is kicking in. Nice.

"Where’s Jasmine?!" I ask. My head is spinning but I can see things properly so I’m still okay. For now.

"Using the restroom. Apparently, one of the things she ate had something she’s most likely allergic to."

My brows creased. "Oh, my God, is she okay?"

Savory sat. "She will be. Said we shouldn’t worry." She poured herself a glass of wine and drank. "Now, to you, how’s it going with that-" She snapped her fingers and winked at me.

She means Killian. You know what? Why not share. At least just for tonight.

"In all honesty, I don’t know. It’s the weirdest situation I’ve been in." I sipped more milkshake. "Yet he’s all I can think about." I burped. That was odd. I glanced from Ash to Savory and we giggled.

"So it’s a he now, sweet." Ash said with a grin. fɾeeweɓnѳveɭ.com

’Not like you didn’t know." Savory said to her.

"If it makes you two feel better, or worse, I plan to move on."

I don’t know if I was so drunk or if Savory looks a bit disappointed.

I messily dug my hand in my purse and brought out my phone, waving it in front of them. "That’s why I downloaded Tinder." I laughed.

Ash choked on her drink. "Sorry."

"It’s alright, honey." I said, passing her a handkerchief. I always carry one everywhere with me after that night.

"No kidding?" Savory asks. She points her hand forward when I nod. "Give me your phone. I’ll get you started in your slut journey." She laughed.

I held my cup high for a toast while handing my phone to her. I don’t know how to use it anyway. "Cheers." I said to her.

"What’s your taste in boys?" Ash ask, leaning closer to Savory as they invade my phone.

I waved a finger to the left and right, shaking my head. "I don’t do boys. I prefer men."

"Kinky, I like that." Ash piped in. "Give me the phone Savory." Savory did as Ash requested. "I’ll just match with whoever I find attractive and message them once they match back. You can take it from there."

"I humbly accept." I let them do their thing as I run my eyes around this bar. It has a similar setting. There’s music and I’m drunk, not as drunk as before but drunk regardless.

I can hear myself breathe while studying all the men in this place. Unlike the last time, there’s no Killian. I swallow.

Focus Hazel!

"Oh my God, I have seen a lot of men but this one is so cute. What the fuck?!" Savory gasped when Ash showed her my phone screen.

Another fine man? Maybe that’s even better.

I sipped out of my milkshake. The more I drink, the dizzier I get. "Let me see."

"You don’t need to ask, girl." Ash said. "Let me match with him real quick!" She said fangirling whoever that is.

That made me chuckle.

"Oh my God, he matched back!" Ash screamed. Thank God for loud music. It would’ve been almost impossible to not attract eyes any way else.

"Well that is one needy man. Let me text him!"

I cleared my throat. "I think I should do the texting."

They exchanged glances then shrug before handing me back my phone. If I though my gaze was dizzy before, it just happened to be clear. At first I thought I was dreaming till I looked over again.

It’s Killian. Or a lookalike? I studied his profile. The names are different.

I don’t care if it’s him or not. I cannot do anything with this man. I am trying to avoid him not bond with someone who looks like him.

"I can’t. Look for someone else." I said, handing my phone back to them.

"Are you kidding? How often do you find someone this beautiful, Hazel? Like ever?!" Savory questioned, surprised. I don’t know if I should explain it to her.

"That’s sad, but I can’t. I’d rather not." My voice is stern. I think that made her back off a little.

"Give me one good reason why and I won’t push this." Savory said. I think respecting my choice is a good enough reason but tonight is going to perfectly to end it with a fight. Plus, they took me out as a welcoming gift. I appreciate that.

"Because he’s the same one." I swallowed, closing my eyes for a second. Even with my eyes closed, his face and body is printed in my head. "Or at least, a lookalike. That’s the man I slept with, Savory."

For a second, the world seemed to be on a stand still as they froze. "You’re joking?" Savory asks. "... Right?"

I shook my head.

She mouthed her amazement. "Oh my God, now I see why you fell for him. Lucky girl you are."

I roll my eyes. If only I was lucky. I need to put him in my past.

"That’s why I’m not texting him. Next person please."

Jasmine walked over to us. Ash gave her a sympathetic glance.

"What’s wrong? Why do you all seem like someone died?"

Ash took my phone from my hand and showed it to Jasmine.

"Holy shit. He’s hot. Fuck." She peered at Killian. I don’t know why that makes me kind of jealous. Women adoring him like that. Well, anyone is. Have you seen that man? He’s the embodiment of heaven in a human.

"That’s the man Hazel fucked." Ash added.

"That’s really crazy, dude. Even I would let him in my vagina" Jasmine said. I don’t know why I thought she is a lesbian or at least bi-sexual. Maybe it’s because she gave me that dominant vibe. "So what’s the problem?" She asks, making herself comfortable on the seat.

"He’s on Tinder and she doesn’t want to text with him." Savory said.

Jasmine stared at me. I peered closer. Is that disbelief written all over her face? Isn’t this the Jasmine? The tomboy sleeping under me?

"Text him if he matches with you."

"I won’t." I’m drunk, but not that drunk.

"I dare you. I’ll do whatever you want me to for a week. In fact, I’ll bet my money down as well. Text him and ask him to meet up." My lips spread ajar. She’s serious....

What is wrong with these girls? Don’t they understand my situation? I’m not like them in such matters. I actually feel guilty about this.

"Anything?" My lips said, going against my mind.

Jasmine nodded. "Anything."

I glanced at the girls. "And you all too?" Savory made a cross sign across her chest and Ashlyn nodded.

I exhaled. I can’t believe I’m doing this but I want to win this dare. They doing whatever I want for a week will be nice for me. Plus, I doubt Killian will come once he knows it’s me.

He’s busy with Kate.

I took my phone from Jasmine and stared at his profile for a little longer before heading to his chat. I texted him. My heart is racing.

I’m hoping this is not Killian but every nerve in my body says it is. Who else lives this close and looks like him anyway?

No one that I know of.

Killian replied me.

"He texted back." I said to them. They’re staring at me like I’m some kind of new and endangered specie.

Message notifications flooded the top of my screen. The girls in the group chat finally responded to my text. Took them long

enough.

A thought came to my mind. I wonder what he thinks about my body....

Goosebumps popped all over my skin. I went back to my chat with Kate to see my tits photo.

I’m about to cross a dangerous line but every nerve in my body wants me to.
