Seven Sins System Chapter 413. Cruel Punishment II freёwebnoѵel.com

The Kraken's eyes widened in terror.

With a cruel laugh echoing through the chamber, I tightened my grip upon the Kraken, relishing in the knowledge that his suffering had only just begun.

I used my teleport skill, and in an instant, my body dissolved into a swirling mass of dark aura.

When we materialized once more, we found ourselves in my office. I surveyed the scene before me.

There, seated behind my desk, was my puppet. With a cringe, I watched as he carelessly spun around in my chair.

Beside him, Ivy sat at her desk, her expression weary and worn.

Despite the paperwork strewn before her, it was clear that her exhaustion not from the tasks, but from the puppet's foolish antics.

Once she saw me, Ivy's eyes widened in surprise, and a wide smile spread across her face. "Your Highness, you're back!" she exclaimed joyfully, quickly rising from her chair and hurrying over to greet me.

She wrapped her arms around me in a tight hug.

There was a time when our interactions were filled with work related conversation and flirtation, but since my mission to the mortal realm, Ivy's demeanor had shifted. She was more... Adorable now.

However, her expression soured as her gaze fell upon the kraken. She took a step back, her eyes narrowing with mistrust. "Why did you bring that creature here? He's a mortal, right?" she asked, her voice tinged with skepticism.

I released a chuckle. "Yes, he's a mortal," I confirmed with a smirk. "But this creature had the audacity to impersonate me in the mortal realm, and now he must face the consequences. I intend to grant his wish for a taste of my power," I explained, my tone dripping with satisfaction.

"So, I will grant what he wishes a bit. I will give him the same workload as what I usually have," I declared with a mischievous smirk.

Ivy's expression shifted from surprise to disbelief. "Workload?" she echoed incredulously. "But that's a mortal," she reminded me.

I chuckled at her reaction. "Yes, mortal indeed," I confirmed with a wicked gleam in my eyes. "But we can use him," I explained, my tone dripping with malice.

I pointed towards the puppet. "That puppet is nothing more than a mere distraction," I remarked dismissively. "But with the Kraken's help, we can put him to work for our benefit."

Ivy's confusion was clear. "How?" she inquired.

A sinister grin spread across my lips. "Fetch me a puppet, a faceless one," I instructed her.

Despite the confusion, Ivy obeyed my orders without hesitation. She quickly left the room to fetch the puppet. I turned my attention back to the kraken. His eyes were wide with terror, darting around in a desperate search for escape. His body trembled uncontrollably.

He tried to scream, but my Blood Curse had already spread to his neck, effectively silencing any attempt to vocalize. The curse worked its way through his veins, ensuring that he remained mute and compliant, no matter how much he wished to cry out.

I leaned closer to him. "You understand what's coming, don't you?" I whispered, my voice dripping with malice.

This wouldn't be like that last woman's punishment. No, hers was merely a lifetime. His would be eternal.

The kraken's eyes widened even further.

The thought of his endless suffering brought a dark satisfaction to my heart. "You wanted power," I continued, my voice a low, menacing growl. "Now you'll have it. You'll have all the power and responsibility that comes with being me. But make no mistake, you will never escape. You will work for me until the end of time."

'Wait... I could make this worse,' I thought, a sinister smile creeping onto my face as a truly diabolical idea formed in my mind.

Why settle for simple eternal servitude when I could add an extra layer of torment?

Perhaps I could make him serve me for his entire lifetime, then condemn his soul to my torture chamber for eternity.

"Envy..." I muttered.

One of the tips of my tentacles extended and attached itself to his face, the connection throbbing with malevolent energy. "Erase all his memories but leave his intelligence intact. Alter them so that he believes he is my most loyal servant, dedicated to serving only me," I whispered, my voice dripping with dark intent.
