Chapter 95 - Billionaire Busted for Committing Fraud, Claimed He Did It to Get Laid
The immortals quietly left the Grand Jade World, but their presence already stirred the entire continent. Lu Clan’s soldiers distributed silver coins, spirit stones, and random treasures to local residents as compensation for the commotion.
Major clans, sects, and cults instantly heard of them and noticed their odd behavior. Agents from their intelligence network scrambled to collect information. Their only leads were the devastation of Mount Vulture Sect and a mysterious killer who eliminated a rogue immortal.
The Tang Clan was also confused and curious by the recent development. Their patriarch and elders contacted Tang Youyan as she was the nearest person to the incident site. Unfortunately, Tang Youyan also didn’t know anything since she had migrated to the spirit stone dimension during the chaos.
As for the elders of the Divine Cloud Sect, they had already been brainwashed, and Huli Jiubai kept their mouths shut. Only Li Wushuang accidentally heard Lu Potian’s fervent chant and discovered Fu Tong’s hidden identity.
The Divine Cloud Sect returned to normal, though the tournament had been postponed due to the chaos. Everybody exited the spirit stone world and resumed their normal life, except every cultivator on the Grand Jade Continent.

Fu Tong and his allies returned to the Celestial Fox City. Some executive members gathered at the meeting hall. Jin Yanxiong, Huli Jiubai, Jin Yu, Li Wushuang, Ji Zixuan, and the top elders of the fox tribe were present. Lu Liang followed Fu Tong here, acting as his bodyguard. Two immortal guests—Lu Liekong and Ji Laopan—also joined them as liaison officers for their clan.
Lu Liekong shrank his physique to two meters tall to fit the building’s size. Although he was a veteran officer under Lu Potian, he maintained a hunchback posture and quirky demeanor. His eyes, however, swept through the crowd, memorizing everything he saw. He also paid attention to Fu Tong and his wives.
Fu Tong faced the crowd and sighed. Based on everybody’s excited looks, they wanted an explanation from him. He glanced at Lu Liekong and smiled wryly.
’What the hell is the 5th Chapter’s protagonist doing here?!’
Fu Tong was taken aback by Lu Liekong’s arrival. His first scenario Chapter hadn’t ended yet, but the 5th Chapter protagonist already loitered in the first sect’s area.
Lu Liekong was different from the other protagonists, who had reincarnated at least once. This man was a transmigrator from Earth, and he was the kingdom-management type. He never competed with players directly or caused major trouble.
This protagonist represented the Sin of Sloth. Lu Liekong only antagonized players if they overworked him in Chapter 4 and 5. He wished nothing more but to live a slow and easy life. Anything that disturbed his peace would be eliminated, including the fourth and the fifth Chapter’s heroines and villains.
Only in the late game, after players managed to overcome the overpowered villainess in Chapter 8, he would point his blades at the players in Chapter 9.
Since Lu Liekong was not a threat at the moment, Fu Tong left him alone. He coughed and started explaining.
"As you heard, I’m someone with a complex background. I cannot reveal my real name, but you can rest assured that I have no intention of harming you or taking advantage of you."
Jin Yu asked him. "You claimed to be someone from a higher realm than the sage realm, yet you told sister Wushuang that you were a medical saint. And recently, you’ve been using the alias Lu Bu, and everybody has been calling you a prince. Which realm are you from, exactly?"
Fu Tong shrugged. "I’m from a higher dimension. That’s for certain."
Li Wushuang raised an eyebrow. "What about the medical saint? Is that also you or your alias?"
"Both Lu Bu and Hua Tuo are fake names. I’m sorry."
Dissatisfied by Fu Tong’s lie, Li Wushuang’s mouth turned down. Still, she couldn’t blame him since he removed her curse and saved her life in the end.
Fu Tong continued. "About the Abyssal Star bloodline of mine and my relationship with the emperor, it’s slightly convoluted. To sum it short, I’m a part of the royal family because of the bloodline, and I’m also unrelated to the Dong Clan because I’m not a direct descendant of the emperor or their ancestors."
Lu Liekong was interested in the explanation. He asked to confirm his theory.
"In short, you’re an Abyssal Star, or someone with the bloodline in disguise. At the same time, you are from the higher dimension, correct?"
Fu Tong nodded as Lu Liekong’s theory aligned with his narrative. He pointed at him. "Correct. That’s what I’m trying to explain."
Every fox and Fu Tong’s wives were relieved. Fu Tong didn’t exactly lie to them, but he simply never disclosed this information to anybody. Because everyone had private matters that they preferred to keep hidden, they didn’t judge someone for being secretive.
Jin Yanxiong waved his hands and sent his subordinates away, including Huli Jiubai. He consoled Fu Tong.
"That’s enough explanation. If you don’t want to talk, you don’t need to talk. Everybody has a secret or two. Since this matter is not important, we’ll leave it at that."
After parting his words, the fox crowd left the meeting hall. The foxes, who agreed with Jin Yanxiong, left one after another after paying respect to Fu Tong.
However, Ji Laopan and Lu Liekong needed more information. The latter continued probing.
"Which Abyssal Star family are you from, if you don’t mind me asking?" frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
Fu Tong sighed. He wished he hadn’t lied and stacked fake stories to make life simpler for himself. He wished that he could be honest with everybody one day. Currently, though, he needed to fabricate more falsehoods to stall for time and gradually turn them into reality, using his system and his strength.
"Time Lord Family." Fu Tong had no choice but to drop the name of the last Chapter’s final boss.
Lu Liekong’s eyes narrowed while Ji Laopan frowned, as he had never heard of the term or the title.
"And who are they, Your Highness?" Ji Laopan asked to make sure.
"The Time Lord Clan lives in the sage realm. It’s the realm that you two cannot meddle. Also, if you know too much, the karma will bind you. You don’t want to get random curses because you’re too nosy, do you?"
The karma part was a fact. The Time Lord’s existence was also real. As for the Abyssal Bloodline part, it was also the truth, since their family had the purest bloodline.
Lu Liekong slowly nodded as he understood the consequences of prying into a sensitive matter of a higher dimension. Ji Laopan also sighed and gave up poking the hornet nest for more intel.
"We understand." Ji Laopan bowed. "I’ll keep my mouth shut. Not even my patriarch will learn this."
Lu Liekong also cupped his fist and excused himself. "Likewise. No one, including my boss, will hear of this."
"Thanks."
The two liaison officers left the meeting hall, afraid of the repercussions of getting entangled with entities above the saint realm. Lu Liang escorted both of them out.
Fu Tong was also relieved that he managed to scare off nosy immortals away from his life. He still needed to explain things more clearly to his wives, who found his vague answers unsatisfactory.
Jin Yu changed her seat. In the company of only her husband and sisters, she approached Fu Tong and settled onto his lap.
She whispered.
"How many bloodlines do you have? Are you a prince or not? No more lies."
Fu Tong looked at her and chuckled dryly. "I have two versions. Which version do you want to hear, white lie or harsh truth?"
"Both."
"White lie version, I have the same bloodline as the Heavenly Emperor and the royalty. In a way, I’m their distant relative."
"And the harsh truth?"
"I have a lesser version of Abyssal Star Bloodline, but it’s stronger than the Heavenly Emperor’s bloodline or the princes. Also, I’m not a prince or their relative."
Jin Yu pinched his ear and sighed. "Why is my husband such a liar? Why do you keep lying to us, husband?"
"Your husband just wants to get your attention and your love. Will you pay attention to a random guy who keeps a low profile?"
"Is that a lie, too?"
"Want me to prove how much I love you?"
Pushing his 100-luck point to his limit, he removed his pants in front of his three wives.
The expressions of the trio changed. At first, they wanted to facepalm. However, upon seeing how excited their husband was, they partially forgave him.
Li Wushuang cracked her knuckles and warned Fu Tong.
"I hate liars and hypocrites the most. But you, husband, you have a lot of work to do to prove your love and sincerity. I will not be satisfied if you leave too early. One month per person?"
Ji Zixuan snickered. "Same. A week per person is not enough. I want at least three months."
Jin Yu proposed. "We’ll not stop until we’re all pregnant. Three months is not enough. One person per year."
"...Err, what?"
It was too late for Fu Tong to craft another lie. The three frustrated wives pinned him to the floor.
