Secret Records of the Leader of the Beichen Sword Sect-Chapter 853 - 440: Cang Yun and Cang Ming (Part 2)
"Besides, look at their impressive skills; even with the combined efforts of three senior brothers forming the Micro Dust Array, they couldn’t subdue him. It even required Grand Senior Brother to clean up the mess. Truly a role model for us; such is how a great man should be."
The yellow-faced youth with frosty temple hair paid no attention, as if asleep, except for occasionally moving the fan.
Cang Ming pondered for a moment, then stomped his foot,
"No way, such a peak duel is hard to come by; it’s finally a chance to witness the top skills beyond the mountain. How could I pass it up so easily! I must see what methods that guy has! Even if it puts my life in danger, it’s worth gaining a few insights into Dao Fate!"
So, he turned around, dashed to his junior brother’s side, took a bun from his pocket, and stuffed it into the yellow-faced youth’s hand,
"Cang Yun, since only one person needs to watch the cauldron, Senior Brother is going for a stroll and will be back before dark. If you get hungry, eat the bun yourself."
The yellow-faced youth glared at him.
Cang Ming chuckled, patted him on the shoulder, and with a slight tip of his toes, leaped out of the enormous crater in the ruins, performing Light Body Ascension, riding the wind and clouds. He flitted and danced over the remains like an immortal crane, reaching outside the city in no time.
Of course, Cang Ming dared not defy the grand senior brother’s orders or truly abandon his junior brother, nor did he have the divine skills to intrude into the Micro Dust Array and cause a scene. So he merely hurried to a spot close to the battlefield outside the city, just to watch the excitement.
Ordinary people couldn’t possibly perceive the Emei’s Micro Dust Array, but as an Emei True Disciple, Cang Ming knew the paths and secrets of his sect’s array, and was familiar with its changes from entering and exiting the mountain gate regularly, thus able to use the Primordial Spirit Method to observe the array.
No time to lose; if delayed, the fight would end, so Cang Ming quickly set up an array and cast a spell, moistening his fingers with saliva to draw a talisman on his forehead, then tapped his forehead. His eyes briefly glimmered like stars, emitting two beams of silver light. He then took out a copper mirror from his sleeve, shining it onto the array, using the reflection of the mirror to scan the sandstorm within the array, watching the shadows by harnessing the power of a magic artifact.
But at that moment, the inside of the array was also a scene of great upheaval, and the fierce fight was intense. Before he could discern anything, Cang Ming suddenly felt a shift in his divine sense, quickly withdrew the divine light, and looked back.
He saw two masses of emerald green thunder light leap across the horizon.
Estimating swiftly in his mind, Cang Ming then saluted,
"Mount Emei’s Cang Ming, greets the two Senior Sisters."
Those two emerald lightning forms, upon seeing the situation, withdrew the thunder light, revealing themselves as two elegant figures, large and small, who exchanged salutes with Cang Ming.
"Ji Chongguang of Bixia Xuan Nü Temple. Greetings, Junior Brother."
"Jiang Youying of Bixia Xuan Nü Temple. Salutations, Senior Brother."
Youying means the essence of the moon, Chongguang reflects the radiance of the sun.
The senior sister Ji Chongguang was petite like a peach in early spring, youthful yet exuding a radiant energy, distinguished and heroic. She had a beautiful appearance, red lips, white teeth, eyes bright like the sun, a vermillion mark at her brow, her long hair tied into a scorpion tail braid with golden threads, adorned with a nine-turn golden bell, shining as she moved, dressed in a crimson cloud-patterned scarf, draped over her shoulders.
At her waist hung a Seven Treasure Glaze Pot, inlaid with a Sun Essence Red Fire Pearl, an invaluable treasure of condensed Sun Essence Fire, dazzling and brilliant. The True Breath of the Sun circulated around her, aiding her cultivation and refining.
Her junior sister Jiang Youying had a voluptuous figure like the cassia tree under the autumn moon, hair hanging like snow, skin like suet. She wore a snow-colored flowing immortal skirt with wide sleeves, accenting her delicate figure, embroidered with constellations in silver thread along the hem. A pair of silver Moon Spirit Rings adorned her pure white ankles, spreading starlight with each step, like gliding on winds and waves, resembling the Milky Way pouring onto the earth, like the jade rabbit of the Moon Palace treading clouds.
She also held a Suet Jade Flask in hand, filled with ascending Taiyin Pure Qi, a gentle breeze wafting, Dao Breath swirling, clearly containing some Yaochi Immortal Brew, Moon Pond True Dew. Each breath of hers seemed to purify her heart with Taiyin True Essence, significantly enhancing her Qi Refining abilities.
Seeing the two so grandly arrayed, flaunting their precious treasures, Cang Ming knew well that these two must be Truely Initiated from Songshan Xuanmen Ancestor Temple, Bixia Xuan Nü Temple, able to command nine mountains’ worth of juniors at minimum with a single order. He dared not lose decorum, straightened his attire, and politely said,
"I was merely setting up an array to exorcise demons, casting spells to vanquish monsters. I’m sorry for startling the two Senior Sisters."
Jiang Youying glanced at Cang Ming’s face, her bright eyes sparkling, and took a liking to the handsome young man,
"So it’s one of the Seven Heroes of Emei, your famed reputation precedes you, truly deserved."
Being of the same righteous Mystic Sect and on a mission against demons, Ji Chongguang also felt favorable, blinked, and smiled,
"Junior Brother, shall we sisters lend a hand?"
Cang Ming thanked them,
"Thanks for the offer, Senior Sisters. My senior brother has already set up the Micro Dust Array, confining the evil demon. Within a few days, it will surely be reduced to ash. As I’m guarding outside, I can manage well enough, not daring to delay the two Senior Sisters’ Immortal Fate."
Jiang Youying quickly replied,
"We don’t have any Immortal Fate; we’re just out for a walk."
"Cough, cough, ahem!"
Ji Chongguang cleared her throat and glared at her anxious junior sister, softly saying,
"With the world in chaos, demons running wild, thank goodness for righteous people like the Seven Heroes of Emei saving the world.
Though we sisters lack depth in cultivation, we’re fortunate to have countless protective treasures bestowed by our master. Maybe we can be of some use.
We wish to offer whatever little help we can, and Young Hero, please feel free to command."
Jiang Youying,"
"Yes, yes, give us your orders."
Cang Ming had never expected to be entangled by these leisurely wanderers. With outsiders nearby, he couldn’t sneak a peek at the battle within the array, only able to offer a helpless smile,
