Secret Marriage, High-Profile Pampering!-Chapter 661: Couldn’t Sleep Waiting for You to Return
He had a lot of thoughts in his head, even patiently waiting for her to speak.
To his surprise, Summer Sutton only fed him, and aside from asking if the food was good, she didn’t say anything else.
Adrian Walyon still couldn’t believe her intention was that simple.
"Baby, if there’s something you want, just say it. When have I ever not agreed to something you’ve asked?" He pulled her onto his lap, wrapping his arms around her waist.
Summer Sutton froze for a few seconds, couldn’t help but roll her eyes at him. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
"Nothing." She really just wanted to come over tonight, no hidden agenda.
"Really?" Adrian Walyon doubted.
"Really." Summer Sutton fed him a spoonful of green beans, "It’s just that being alone at home and not waiting for you to come back, I couldn’t sleep."
Her sleeplessness meant she was worried about how late he’d have to work overtime, if he’d had dinner, and when he’d get to sleep, thinking about him kept her awake.
But when Adrian Walyon heard it, the meaning obviously changed.
"Without me, you can’t sleep?" He was somewhat surprised by what he heard, deliberately dragging out the last three words.
Summer Sutton lifted her face and stared at him, stopping her feeding movement.
Why did that sound so ambiguous?
Adrian Walyon didn’t care about that.
His wife just told him she missed him so much she couldn’t sleep!
Adrian Walyon’s mood now was like a kid in kindergarten who just received candy.
He was too lazy to deal with the pile of unfinished documents on the table, and too lazy to eat. He picked up Summer Sutton and headed to the rest area in his office.
"Let’s go, time to sleep with my wife!"
"Haven’t you finished working?" Summer Sutton reminded him.
"Doesn’t matter." Adrian Walyon casually uttered two words, after entering the room, he tossed her onto the bed, pressed his tall body down, and began to strip off her clothes.
Summer Sutton rolled over on the bed and pressed his wrist, "This is the office!"
"Does it matter?" Adrian Walyon paid no mind to her words.
"At least close the door!" Summer Sutton glanced outside through the open rest area door and reminded him.
Adrian Walyon was a bit reluctant but still kept a straight face as he went to close the office door.
He was about to lock the door when he unexpectedly found Ryan Walyon hadn’t left work yet.
"Heading back? Let’s go together!" Ryan Walyon glanced in his direction and casually asked.
His glance was merely casual.
However, once his gaze drifted into the room, he froze.
Through the two open doors, he saw Summer Sutton inside.
Wearing Adrian Walyon’s coat, lying on Adrian Walyon’s bed, face buried in the pillow.
Whatever she was thinking about made her cheeks red, and every now and then, she’d shake her head.
The way she looked was like a shy girl spending the night with her crush for the first time.
He hadn’t expected Summer Sutton to be here so late.
He hadn’t expected her to come looking for Adrian Walyon at this hour either.
Ryan Walyon stared at Summer Sutton and inadvertently got lost in his thoughts.
Adrian Walyon’s gaze followed his and glanced at Summer Sutton inside, his face showing no expression.
"I’m not going back tonight, too much work. Be careful on your way!" He threw a sentence at Ryan Walyon, locked the office door, and slowly walked toward Summer Sutton.
