Chapter 146: Chapter 146: A Small Separation Enhances the Newlywed Bliss

"25th floor," Summer Sutton said.

Adrian Walyon didn’t ask more, just pulled her into the elevator.

Upon arriving at Summer Sutton’s room, his eyes casually scanned the interior.

The hotel where Summer Sutton was staying was chosen by the film crew—a typical hotel, and Ariella Sawyer, not yet a major star, was still in the early stages of her career, so the staff’s rooms booked were rather basic.

Just one or two hundred per room, with the room pitifully small, the bed likely not even half as wide as the one at home.

Adrian Walyon stared at her room, his brows furrowing slightly.

"Have you eaten? If not, should I take you out to get something first?" Summer Sutton tried to suggest.

"Are you used to living here?" Adrian Walyon ignored her words.

"Used to it! What’s there not to be used to?"

After her grandfather passed away upon these years, Summer Sutton had to work part-time to earn tuition and pay rent; the place she rented then was much simpler than this!

Though born into the once prestigious Sutton Family, Summer Sutton was never a pampered child of wealth and having endured hardships, there’s nothing she couldn’t accept.

"I’ll help you switch to a bigger room tomorrow," Adrian Walyon gazed at her deeply for a long moment, tossed her a sentence, and went to the bathroom.

Just entering, he glanced sideways back at her and, unexpectedly, retreated.

Under Summer Sutton’s astonished gaze, he pulled her into the bathroom abruptly, pressed her against the thin door, leaned in, and his lips met hers...

He kissed her urgently and fiercely, as if it had been repressed for a long time.

While kissing her, his hands greedily caressed her body.

Summer Sutton was forced to endure his demands, her hands finding nowhere to rest, eventually climbing onto his back, gently holding him.

"Do you miss me?" Adrian Walyon found space, interrogated.

His voice hoarse and deep, like the finest wine, slightly intoxicating Summer Sutton.

These past few days, Summer Sutton had been busy with the crew’s matters, having no time to think about anything else.

However, she knew what answer he wanted to hear.

"Yes." Agreeing with his intention, she reluctantly said.

"Little liar!" Adrian Walyon knew how much of her words were true, bit her lip harshly, sternly instructed, "Remember to think of me more often in the future!"

Summer Sutton, "..."

"Did you hear me?" Adrian Walyon knocked her heavily.

Summer Sutton’s body stiffened, her face slightly flushed, "Got it, got it!"

Adrian Walyon seemed satisfied with her answer; his punishing kiss slowly changed in nature.

Like light rain gently falling, like waves washing over, his kiss varied between gentle and fierce.

Kissing and kissing, perhaps still feeling unsatisfied, he pressed against her on the door for over an hour.

After finishing, the two took a shower together, Summer Sutton changed clothes, and took him downstairs to eat.

Adrian Walyon had been on a plane at six, and until now, hadn’t had dinner.

The airplane meal was too unpalatable, he didn’t touch it.

Nearby the hotel was a snack street, already almost one at this time, the street remained lively, crowded with people eating and drinking.

Summer Sutton led Adrian Walyon into a snack shop, took the initiative to order him some wontons, a few dim sum, and sat down to accompany him.

Adrian Walyon seemed starving, usually quite elegant, but when the food arrived, he wolfed it down.

Summer Sutton watched him like this, inexplicably feeling a trace of heartache.

A very faint feeling, like something blocked in her heart causing discomfort.
