Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy-Chapter 682: Hey... husband
He was introduced to the First Lady. She was regal in her crimson qipao her expression stern but when she saw Qie Xieling she smiled warmly at him. She had a son overseas who was dating a man but she couldn’t understand it. Thus she took the opportunity to meet Qie Xieling and see what sort of future to expect.
Who would have thought the two grooms would look so good together and Qie Xieling was so happy despite being married into another man’s family? Qie Xieling who was used to chattering with his nana and grandma easily got along with her. Her smile grew bigger by the second. It was evident that she had a good impression of him.
Luo Muchen on the other hand thought that Qie Xieling had moved to the next table while he was chatting happily with the generals but when he turned to look that way, Qie Xieling was nowhere to be seen.
He hastily excused himself and looked around only to catch sight of his lover across the venue. He walked over smiling at the guests but his steps were brisk. As soon as he reached Qie Xieling’s side his tense nerves eased, and he resumed his role as the doting husband. After finishing their conversation with the middle-aged woman the pair left and Luo Muchen took the opportunity to complain.
"Lin Lin" he whispered, his breath warm against Qie Xieling’s cheek. "I can’t bear to be apart from you even for a second." 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
Qie Xieling chuckled. "We are married now. You’re stuck with me forever. No returns... you can’t regret it."
Luo Muchen’s smile was radiant as he pulled him closer "No regrets. You are mine now," he said his husky voice drilling into Qie Xieling’s ear.
"Will you two stop flirting," said Luo Shih urging them to continue serving the guests.
The pair continued to move gracefully, serving drinks to each guest, their movements synchronized like a well-practised dance.
After taking pictures with all the guests, they cut the wedding cake and the desserts were served. Lucky for the pair the banquet was coming to an end. The master of ceremony thanked the guests for coming marking the end of the event.
Qie Xieling who was ready to stretch like a cat while lying on his bed was dragged to stand at the door with his family and thank the guests for attending as they left.
Once the main guests left. The now big family set outside on the patio drinking and chatting it up. Qie Xieling took off his shoes and lay on the chaise while playing on his cell phone.
He had no idea where his new husband was. He was about to upload a few pictures of the wedding to his accounts when the older lady came out and called for him.
"Young sir. It’s time," she said her voice low but Wen Danzhe and Bo Ailun heard it.
"Ohhhhhh," said Bo Ailun while nudging him.
Wen Danzhe draped his arm around Qie Xieling’s shoulder and whispered something. Qie Xieling’s ears turned red while pushing his uncle away. The man dared to say that he should wear the outfit he gifted him on his bachelor party.
Wen Danzhe laughed out loud and said, "I guarantee you that he will be obsessed."
Qie Xieling rolled his eyes while his grandma smacked Wen Danzhe upside his head. "If you are keen on giving advice then get married first," said his mother but Wen Danzhe rubbed the back of his head while refusing.
"I will be the world’s oldest bachelor. Watch me break the record," he said before he started running for his life. That’s because his mother had taken off her slipper and was going to hit him with it.
Wen Danzhe ran with a smug look on his face but soon he wasn’t smiling. That’s because his mother threw that slipper expertly and with a bang, it landed on his head.
"AH!" he screamed and the people at the patio laughed so hard at his expense.
Qie Xieling on the other hand couldn’t revel in his uncle’s misfortune. That’s because he was already in the house. His father who was already tipsy called him over and hugged him tightly.
"My little cabbage," said Qie Ranzhe.
Qie Xieling, "..."
"If he bullies you tell Daddy and I will hit him," he continued to say not caring that the mother of the child he was threatening to beat was there.
Luo Shih lit a cigar before saying, "I will help you beat him."
Qie Xieling, "..."
Wen Qinxi couldn’t stand these two anymore. He tried to free his son while reprimanding the both of them. "Look at you acting like you don’t know Mu Mu’s character. Hurry up and let him go," he said and Qie Ranzhe was forced to loosen his grip.
"Young sir," said the older woman and Qie Xieling nodded his head.
"I will be fine. Dad hurry up and take him home before he makes trouble," he said. He was afraid his father in a drunk haze would break into the bridal chamber and drag Luo Muchen out for a beating. Qie Xieling couldn’t put it past him.
"Okay. See you soon honey," said Wen Qinxi trying so hard not to be emotional.
It was Qie Ranzhe, this big tall man who couldn’t hold it in. He hugged his husband nuzzling against Wen Qinxi’s neck hiding the fact that he was crying. Wen Qinxi’s brow arched when he felt the wetness on his neck.
Wen Qinxi, "???"
Well, this wasn’t expected. Qie Xieling had no idea that his father was crying like it was a funeral. He just entered Luo Muchen’s bedroom and sat on the bed waiting patiently for his husband who had disappeared.
He lay on the bed with his knees bent and messaged Luo Muchen but soon a soft ding rang in his ear. It seemed Luo Muchen’s phone was in the bedroom but the person wasn’t there.
Since the person wasn’t here yet he decided to pass the time by scrolling through the pictures and picking a few to upload. Ten minutes later the door was opened and Qie Xieling spread apart his legs and met Luo Muchen’s intense gaze.
"Hey... husband," said Qie Xieling his voice low and dripping with honey.
