Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy-Chapter 396: None of your business

Luo Muchen had never been patient with anyone. But he found that he was especially patient with Qie Xieling in all his foolishness. If anyone who knew him saw this they would think that he had been bewitched.

"From now on I will call you Lin Lin then," he said and Qie Xieling seemed very satisfied.

"You can also call me cutie Lin or handsome Lin. They are all acceptable," he said with a sweet smile that made it difficult for one to resist his charm.

Luo Muchen’s Adam’s apple bobbed feeling the strong urge to taste those sweet lips again. He gently pinched Qie Xieling’s chin and raised his head to look at him. The two of them locked eyes and it felt like the world stopped spinning as the breath between them entwined. Their foreheads touched and Luo Muchen felt like he was about to melt away, just from the way Qie Xieling looked at him.

He leaned close to kiss Qie Xieling’s lips but just as their lips were about to touch Qie Xieling covered his mouth and Luo Muchen only managed to kiss the back of Qie Xieling’s hand.

"I need to brush my teeth. Help me with my toothbrush," he said and Luo Muchen sighed. He picked up the new toothbrush and put some toothpaste on it before handing it to him.

Qie Xieling got off the bathroom vanity and started brushing his teeth. Luo Muchen knew he should leave but he didn’t want to. He wanted to stay as close to him as possible. Qie Xieling spat out the white foam in his mouth into the sink before looking up only to meet Luo Muchen’s reflection in the mirror.

The man was staring at him with an intense gaze. Qie Xieling pointed at Luo Muchen’s reflection in the mirror and said, "Captain, if you keep staring at me like that I will think you have fallen in love with me."

Luo Muchen, "..."

He shook his head before turning to leave. He could hear Qie Xieling’s laughter behind him. Qie Xieling found it quite amusing. He continued brushing his teeth his mind wandering. After a good hour he finally stepped out of the bedroom dressed in Luo Muchen’s clothes.

He didn’t even bother asking him for them. When he entered the lounge he found Luo Muchen sitting at the table while Bo Ailun set the food down. He walked to the kitchen and poured out some water for himself. "Good to see you BoBo. What did you bring me for breakfast."

Bo Ailun, "..."

"What the... what are you doing here?" he exclaimed in disbelief. When the captain asked for breakfast for two he thought it was for him and the captain but right after saying that he added that if he wanted to eat too then he should bring food for three. When he heard this he was so excited. His captain who didn’t date nor liked anyone had finally found someone who he was interested in.

Now that he thought about it, the captain had asked him for some educational material for s.e.x a few days ago. Now that he was asking for breakfast for two he was expecting a tall curvy girl with long black hair but instead, it was a tall muscular man with short brown hair. To make matters worse it was Qie Xieling of all people.

"Di-did you two," he stammered and the both of them responded simultaneously,

"None of your business,"

"Yes,"

It was easy to tell who responded between them. Qie Xieling smiled slyly as he walked towards the table. He took a sip of water and pinched Luo Muchen’s chin forcing him to look up. Luo Muchen instinctively wanted to turn his gaze away but he was enchanted by those eyes staring at him. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

With a mischievous grin, Qie Xieling leaned in, capturing the captain’s lips in a tender, passionate kiss and a stream of warm water passed into Luo Muchen’s mouth. He felt the liquid run down his throat. It tasted minty and pleasant.

Qie Xieling was especially eager kissing and sucking his lips. Luo Muchen let out a moan when he felt Qie Xieling’s tongue probing his mouth. He was a little startled by this but he couldn’t resist.

His heart beating rapidly he parted his lips allowing Qie Xieling’s tongue to enter. His heart thumped wildly. Qie Xieling’s hands held onto his face pushing it closer. When he finally let him go Luo Muchen was displeased. He wanted to grab his wrist and pull him down for another kiss. But after Qie Xieling mentioned Bo Ailun he finally recalled that they weren’t alone. "Did that answer your question?" said Qie Xieling with a smirk on his face.

Bo Ailun had stood frozen earlier, his eyes widening in disbelief. He had known Captain Luo for years, witnessing his stoic demeanour and unwavering dedication to his ship. The captain had always been a mystery, never showing any interest in romantic relationships. But now, standing before him, was a sight that shattered all preconceived notions.

His jaw dropped to the floor, his mind struggling to process what his eyes had seen. The room had fallen into a hushed silence, with only the faint sound of their shared breaths breaking the stillness. Qie Xieling with undeniable tenderness, had cradled the captain’s face in his hands, their lips moving in perfect synchrony. The act was intimate, filled with a profound tenderness that he found both disorienting and strangely beautiful that he felt like an intruder just being here.

Bo Ailun’s mind raced, grappling with questions he didn’t know how to answer. When did this happen? When did the two of them start this relationship? It was incredibly baffling.

"You two? Is this a one-night thing or are you actually dating?" he asked very concerned for the captain. That look in Qie Xieling’s eyes made him look like a man-eater. He would easily gobble up the captain and the captain would be powerless.
