Chapter 423: Chapter 424: Diana Is Very Angry!

"Creak!" 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

Diana swept her leg at Fenric’s arm. A sharp crack echoed, but it felt as though she had kicked solid iron.

"Hiss!"

She drew in a sharp breath.

Thankfully, her demigod bloodline and strong physique prevented serious injury. Otherwise, her shin might have fractured.

"The legs are so beautiful!" Fenric exclaimed.

His words carried a hint of frivolity.

Suddenly, the goddess of war grew furious.

Diana retracted her leg and, with all her strength, drove her fist straight at Fenric’s face.

Fenric didn’t budge. He calmly reinforced his face with Armament Haki.

"Boom—!"

Her fist connected. The impact sent Fenric flying backward, tearing a deep trench into the lawn.

And yet—he did not fall. His face showed no signs of injury.

"Good strength," Fenric admitted sincerely.

He wasn’t mocking her—Diana’s punch had nearly matched his own level of force. But to Diana, his words sounded like ridicule, as though he were dismissing her efforts.

Her anger flared hotter.

At the same time, Diana realized this "enemy" before her could not be underestimated. His defenses were far beyond anything she had expected.

With a determined breath, she removed her outer coat, revealing the tabard of an Amazon warrior. The sight of her figure carried both beauty and authority.

Across her back hung a sword—the Sword of Athena.

Diana unsheathed it and leveled its gleaming edge at Fenric. "Who on earth are you?" she demanded.

Fenric chuckled, flicking his fingers. "We’ve been trading blows all this time. Why waste words? Show me your true strength."

"Arrogant!"

Diana’s fury boiled over. She tightened her grip on the Sword of Athena, its blade glowing with a faint fiery aura, and slashed downward.

Fenric, recalling the legend, recognized the weapon immediately. The Sword of Athena, forged by Hephaestus himself, was a semi-divine artifact said to cut at the subatomic level without resistance.

But Fenric did not retreat. With calm confidence, he raised his fist, cloaked it in Armament Haki, and met her strike head-on.

"Boom—!"

Air quaked violently as fist and sword collided.

The shock tore the Sword of Athena from Diana’s grasp, sending it flying. A devastating counter-force surged through her arm, numbing it completely. Her bones felt like they might shatter.

In just one exchange, her arm lost all strength.

"!!!"

Diana’s eyes widened in disbelief. She had never faced someone whose power could so casually overwhelm her.

If that punch had landed on her body directly, she feared the consequences.

"Crack!"

In the distance, the Sword of Athena emitted a sharp sound. A fissure spread across its blade.

Fenric’s tremor ability had fractured its very structure.

Awkwardly, Fenric scratched his head. "Ah... sorry. I broke your weapon."

But inwardly, he sneered. So this is the so-called semi-divine weapon? Not very impressive at all.

He failed to acknowledge just how terrifying his own destructive power had become. Had it not been so overwhelming, Steppenwolf himself wouldn’t have fled from a single punch.

Of course, a half-complete relic like the Sword of Athena stood no chance against Fenric’s might.

Diana’s fury deepened as she stared at the ruined blade.

Then she stepped forward, raising her arms. Her silver bracelets gleamed ominously.

Fenric’s eyes narrowed. Familiar with the story, he immediately realized her intent—she was about to unleash her ultimate technique.

The Bracelets of Submission, forged from fragments of Zeus’s own Aegis, were true divine artifacts. Their power far surpassed any semi-sacred tool.

When clashed together, they unleashed a devastating shockwave of divine force.

Fenric grew serious. He readied his fists, white mist curling around them. His tremor ability surged to its peak.

Diana slammed her bracelets together.

"Om—!"

A shockwave radiated outward, divine power rippling like a storm.

Fenric did not retreat. He met the wave head-on with his fist infused with Tremor ability.

"Veicha—!"

Space itself fractured, spiderweb cracks splitting the air.

All of Wayne Manor shook. Cracks split across the villa’s walls, as though the entire estate might collapse at any moment.

Diana’s devastating shockwave collided with Fenric’s punch—only to be halted, completely blocked by the shattered void.

Underground, Bruce Wayne paled. He rushed out of his hidden base, panic in his eyes. If this fight continued, his entire manor would be reduced to rubble.

As the dust settled, Diana gasped. The man before her stood untouched, unscathed, like an invincible monster.

He reminded her of Doomsday—the creature that had once slain Superman.

No... this was worse. Doomsday had weaknesses. Kryptonite could fell him.

The man before her had none. His defense seemed absolute.

"Diana, do you want to continue?" Fenric asked with a smile.

He was thoroughly pleased with himself. His Armament Haki for defense, his tremor ability for offense—the combination was flawless.

Diana’s shock turned to unease. "You... know me?"

"Of course," Fenric nodded. "You’re Diana of Themyscira—an Amazon, and a remarkable warrior."

Her surprise only deepened. "Then... who are you?"

"Me?" Fenric tilted his head casually. "I’m Bruce’s ally. I just came to discuss something with him."

"What!?"

Realization dawned on her. Batman had set this up. Rage simmered in her chest.

And just then, Bruce emerged from the ruins of his base.
