Frustration welled up within Eva as she clicked her tongue,’This child has been using too many curse words lately, I can’t let this proceed. If I do, she’ll be a nasty excuse for a Diamond.’
Aurianna, feeling a bit uneasy, scratched her head nervously and replied, "Oh, it was nothing. I was just curious about this whole dimension thing... Why do you look so upset?"
Eva’s face contorted, deep wrinkles forming on her forehead. Her lips tightened, and her eyes squinted as she glanced up at the ceiling, seeking composure.
’This child is truly something else. I give up. I no longer wish to be a Pearl! Just let me return to the confines of the cage! I want to quit!’ Eva lamented in her mind, utterly exhausted by Aurianna’s constant antics.
Unfortunately, the system responded with a flat tone, [ You can’t do that. ]
’Good grief, I’m exhausted both mentally and physically... My soul is aching,’ Eva continued to complain inwardly, as a bed made of clouds materialized, allowing her to sink into its soft embrace.
Aurianna’s eyes widened with surprise at the sudden appearance of the bed, but she remained silent.
The system interjected, its voice bland,
[ The scan of your body indicates that you are perfectly fine.]
"I suppose I’ll have to educate you on interdimensional knowledge at some point in the future," Eva grumbled, dissatisfied with the system’s response.

"Huh?!" Aurianna tilted her head in confusion, her eyes fixed on Eva, clearly perplexed by the word.
’Ah yes, almost forgot that she received no proper education. So her iq won’t be so high, making her to be unfamiliar with some terms I use. I have a long way to go,’ Eva saigh inwardly.
"Well, if you won’t answer that question, then who is my real mother?" Aurianna asked, her voice tinged with curiosity.
"And why do you assume that I would know?" Eva blurted out, her disbelief evident on her face.
"Aren’t you supposed to be my source of information?" Aurianna questioned, her tone bordering on insult.
"What did you just call me?!" Eva’s glare intensified, her offense stemming not from the words themselves, but from what they implied.
"Nothing, but aren’t you supposed to have all the answers?" Aurianna retorted sarcastically, arms crossed and a hint of disappointment in her expression.
Eva growled, "Well, I don’t have access to information about who your damn mother is! Why did you even ask in the first place!?"
"But why?" Aurianna asked, genuinely perplexed by Eva’s lack of an answer.
"Because it’s unknown, alright!" Veins bulged on Eva’s forehead, her frustration mounting. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖
"I was summoned into this world as soon as your life began, not before. Therefore, I wouldn’t have that knowledge. However, something deep inside me tells me that seeking out your mother would be a terrible idea."
"Why would looking for her be a bad idea?" Aurianna inquired, her curiosity piqued.
Eva let out a sigh and began to explain, her tone laced with a mix of concern and resignation. "Look, you’re a highly sought-after being by countless Regals, and chances are your mother was a Diamond. To make matters worse, she could be dead. I mean, if she were alive, why wouldn’t she be here with you? It’s possible that she sacrificed her own life to protect you and Leila. And let me tell you, giving birth to a high-class Diamond like you wouldn’t exactly go unnoticed."
Aurianna’s heart tightened as Eva’s words sank in, and she felt tears welling up. "But how could she die so easily?" she managed to ask, her voice trembling.
"Diamonds meet their demise when they lose their gems and their bodies vanish into thin air. It’s the price they pay for bringing a child into the world," Eva explained. "And hey, you can’t say for certain that she met an easy end. I have no idea how it happened or if she’s even gone. All we can do for now is speculate." Eva had received this information from the system, and she trusted that it wouldn’t deceive her.
As Eva finished speaking, tears began to trickle down Aurianna’s cheeks. The realization that her mother, someone who could have been as strong as Eva, if not stronger, might not be alive and that she might never find her. The thought weighed heavily on her.
She fought back the urge to cry, hastily wiping her face as the suffocating feeling she had been carrying since earlier reached its boiling point.
The hope that once flickered in Aurianna’s heart, the hope of finding her long-lost mother, had now extinguished. Despite all the pain and suffering she had endured in her previous life, she still yearned for the love and connection of her real mother. If she couldn’t experience that love, she at least wanted the chance to meet her, to see her face and hear her voice.
"I wonder what kind of life my twin sister experienced," Aurianna murmured, her voice laden with both curiosity and sadness. Tears glistened in her eyes, reflecting the anguish she felt deep within.
Eva couldn’t help but stifle a laugh, her chuckle escaping quietly. She found amusement in Aurianna’s innocent musings, knowing all too well the stark contrast between their lives.
’Definitely worse than you,’ Eva thought, a wistful remembrance of the hardships Leila had endured compared to Aurianna. Leila’s path had been marked by pain and torment that surpassed anything Aurianna had faced.
Eva’s mind drifted back to the time when she witnessed a young Leila, just five years old, awakening to her Diamond chaos powers. The unleashed chaos energy had manifested as an uncontrollable and insatiable flame, engulfing her body and incinerating everything in its path. Those unfortunate souls caught in the fiery embrace had been consumed, reduced to mere experience points for Leila.
For a decade, Leila had endured the agony of her body being ravaged by the scorching flames of chaos, as intense and unforgiving as the fires of hell. The pain had driven her to the brink of madness, eroding her rationality and leaving only the raw essence of chaos in its wake. The torment she endured far surpassed the mere confinement and torture that Aurianna had endured within the walls of the room or the threat of being devoured by Goiglers.
’The Flames of Chaos possess the power to burn one’s very soul. They are the very essence of the infernal flames of hell," Eva mumbled to herself, her gaze fixed upon Aurianna, who had finally managed to halt the flow of tears. Aurianna’s eyes were now cast downward, a sorrowful expression etched upon her face as she delved deep into her thoughts.
"I wonder if the two girls met each other, what would happen. With Leila’s personality, I’m sure she would try to kill Aurianna for her Diamond gem and become the true Diamond. But if Leila found out Aurianna was her sister, would she care? And if so, what would happen then..." Eva had a sinister smile on her face as she mumbled, all the while Aurianna, who was done sorting out her thoughts, was staring at her.
Breaking the silence, Aurianna redirected the conversation, hoping to divert her attention away from the dark possibilities. "What’s the Diamond Ranking, Eva? You keep saying I’m the lowest when I haven’t even seen it," Aurianna pouted slightly, her curiosity piqued as she yearned to understand her place within the hierarchy of the Diamonds.
Eva casually waved her hand, summoning a white screen that materialized before Aurianna. The screen displayed a series of names and corresponding numbers, revealing the coveted Diamond Ranking.

"Definitely, and she made it there in a span of twenty years, yet you...." Eva began to remark, but her words trailed off as she noticed Aurianna struggling to hold back her tears. The determination in Aurianna’s voice was mixed with vulnerability, tugging at Eva’s heartstrings.
"I know I’m weak, that’s why I’ll grow stronger and catch up to my sister!" Aurianna declared, her resolve shining through as she wiped away her tears. She focused her attention back on the screen, unaware of the subtle smile that formed on Eva’s face.
Curiosity sparked within Aurianna as she gazed at the top of the Diamond Ranking. Her inquisitive nature prompted her to inquire about the mysterious figures named Gilgamesh and Iris. "Who are Gilgamesh and Iris?" she asked, her eyes fixed on their impressive positions.
Eva’s brow furrowed in response, her own curiosity piqued. "I’m wondering the same thing. Those two are unusually strong. What’s more, I have no idea which Diamond they are," she replied, a hint of puzzlement in her voice. "I distinctly remember their levels being seventy for Gilgamesh and forty-eight for Iris just a few years ago."
Aurianna pondered for a moment, offering her own theory. "Maybe time moves differently for the other Diamonds," she suggested, her mind delving into the possibilities.
Eva nodded in silent acknowledgment, considering Aurianna’s hypothesis.
"I still wonder why there are only twelve Diamonds listed. Aren’t there supposed to be thirteen? Aurianna and Leila are one Diamond. Maybe the missing one was killed or hasn’t been born yet," Eva mumbled to herself, her voice filled with uncertainty.
Aurianna’s eyes widened with anticipation, her excitement palpable. "I hope I can meet any of them one day," she exclaimed, the prospect of encountering other Diamonds fueling her enthusiasm.
Eva’s response came swiftly, a note of caution coloring her words. "You wouldn’t want that," she retorted, her tone firm.

"Well, it’s certainly possible that some Diamonds could be driven by a hunger for power and target other Diamonds to acquire their gems, seeking to increase their own strength. Being cautious is never a bad thing, considering that the previous Diamond world met its demise due to conflicts among the Diamonds themselves," Eva explained, her tone conveying a sense of caution.
Aurianna’s face showed her confusion as she struggled to grasp the concept of a "Diamond world." Sensing her perplexity, Eva decided to postpone the explanation for another time, realizing that it might be overwhelming for Aurianna at the moment.
"So, how did they all die?" Aurianna inquired, oblivious to the fact that her persistent questioning was slowly wearing on Eva’s patience.
"It was greed... Greed for attaining the highest rank among the Diamonds that ultimately led to their downfall," Eva responded, her voice tinged with a hint of sadness.
Aurianna couldn’t help but shudder at the thought of powerful Diamonds potentially coming after her life. While her curiosity urged her to uncover the truth about the Diamond world and everything else, she decided to exercise restraint and learn more at a gradual pace. Frankly, her head was starting to ache from the abundance of information she had absorbed during her time with Eva.
Would she be capable of defending herself if confronted by a Diamond of higher level? The numerical rankings didn’t provide a complete picture of the extensive skills these Diamonds possessed, but it was undoubtedly an impressive amount.
"We shouldn’t be too concerned about those things right now. Instead, let’s focus on how you would live in this new life," Eva interjected, trying to change the subject with a brash tone, hoping to quell the intense questioning atmosphere Aurianna had created in the room.
Aurianna wore a simple expression on her face as she confidently replied, "Oh, that’s easy! I’m going to unleash chaos, bring down the human kingdom of Sandeph, indulge in all the food I want, and make my church stand on top of the world!"
Eva, unimpressed by Aurianna’s grand ambitions, responded with a blank stare. "Well, that’s quite the goal you’ve set for yourself, but do you realize just how vast the world is?" she asked with a hint of disbelief.
Perplexed, Aurianna scratched the side of her head and replied innocently, "Huh? Isn’t it just three neighboring kingdoms and the demon kingdom on the other side in the east?"
Eva facepalmed, astonished by Aurianna’s lack of knowledge about the world around her. "Never mind, I’ll teach you all about it later," she sighed, feeling the weight of the task ahead.
