Saintess? Not Anymore! I'd Rather be a Destroyer-Chapter 367 - 304: New curse
I have to even finish the light novel Ishura. I don’t know who the translator is. But they are super good at writing.

The sisters turned swiftly. Several of their companions, Boara, Juvin, Peter, and the others, had collapsed to the ground, writhing as if something invisible had invaded their minds. They clutched their heads, their eyes rolling back, foam forming at the corners of their mouths.
"What the....? What’s happening to them?!" Aurianna shouted, rising to her feet in alarm.
"Hm... to think a mere projection of myself would do this much damage," Iris mused, inspecting her own fingers idly.
Her voice remained soft, but her words sent a chill through them.
"Wait... projection?! This isn’t even your real body?!" Aurianna’s breath caught in her throat.
Carol, who was still standing, barely glanced at her trembling hands, her brows furrowed with disbelief.
’This aura... this isn’t normal. This is beyond divine. It’s like standing beneath a black hole. Just being near her is enough to crush the mind. No wonder the others can’t take it,’ Carol thought, biting her lip.
"Hadina, hold them! Don’t let them harm themselves!" Carol shouted.
At once, Hadina’s tentacles surged forward, wrapping securely around the nine children, as well as Kisho, Boara, and Dokgil. Their bodies trembled violently in her grip, and though they could no longer move, their screams could be heard and it wasn’t pleasant and it sounded as though they were in agony.
Aurianna’s voice cracked as she stared at Iris, "Iris, what’s happening to them?" Her light blue white eyes were filled with worry as she glanced between her convulsing friends.
Iris twirled a strand of black hair between her fingers and giggled, unfazed. "My aura tends to make weak minds go mad. It’s a little side effect of being me. But look, some of them are still standing. That means they’ve got strong mental fortitude. Impressive, really."
"Please if possible could you turn it off," Aurianna said, her tone calm. "And make sure it doesn’t have any after effects on their minds when they wake up."
"Fine, fine." Iris sighed. She snapped her fingers.
Instantly, the afflicted fell into a deep, unnatural sleep, their breathing stabilizing. The screaming stopped. And a purple light floated around them for a brief period before disappearing.
"Better?" Iris asked, tilting her head.
Aurianna gave a relieved nod. "Yes it is. Thank you."
"Also, thank you for training my sisters, Carol." Iris said, glancing at Carol whom was still watching her warily.
Carol stiffened. Her eyes narrowed, and her thoughts turned inward. ’How the hell does she know my name? No one’s supposed to be able to read my status anymore. Not at this level. But she....she just said it so casually.’
"Now then," Iris said, her arms folding behind her back as her hair floated lazily around her, defying gravity, "what did you both summon me for? I can’t project myself for long, y’know."
"But I have so much I want to talk to you about..." Aurianna admitted with a pouty face.
"Adorable." Iris smirked. "But try to make it quick. I’m a very busy woman. I have a lot to do in other dimensions after all.
Leila stood up nervously, fingers twisting into the hem of her sleeve. "It’s the curse. On us. Can you... remove it?"
"Hmm." Iris pressed a finger to her lips in thought. "Remove it? No. But I can... reshape it. Refine it into something far more interesting."
Aurianna raised an eyebrow. "Like what?"
"Like a blessing." Iris grinned. "Instead of eating away at your life force, it will reinforce it. Your life span will grow and never stop increasing. Your soul, especially, will become... unbreakable. Even if it’s destroyed, it will reform. Eventually."
Leila gasped. "You can do that?"
"Sweet girl, I can do anything." Iris winked.
She reached out and gently placed a finger against both girls’ foreheads. And above them appeared a colossal black crystal maiden. Her body was pierced by countless swords, her eyes closed as if weeping without tears.
"What is that?!" Aurianna blurted out.
"The physical manifestation of your curse." Iris replied calmly. "Now, to change it."
She clenched her palm slowly.
The crystal maiden let out a silent scream as her form cracked and splintered. Shards of black crystal floated upward and reformed into several smaller, ghostly maidens. Each one was linked to the next by chains that shimmered with purple light, forming a perfect circle above the girls.
"Done." Iris smiled.
Leila blinked. "It... doesn’t feel different."
"It will. Soon. You’ll come to understand what I’ve given you." Iris said with a knowing smile, her voice laced with pride.
Aurianna’s face lit up. "Thank you, big sister!" Aurianna beamed wanting to hug Iris but seeing Iris face to face made her a bit uncomfortable causing her to avoid eye contact. There was just a certain aura around Iris that made Aurianna and Leila uncomfortable.
She swallowed, then gave a small wave instead.
Leila gave a polite bow. "Thank you. Truly."
"Well then, I’ll be off." Iris straightened up, the ends of her robe flickering like stardust.
"Okay, big sister! Bye-bye!" Aurianna called with childlike cheer.
But just as Iris turned to vanish, she paused. "One last question before I go."
"What kind of question?" Leila asked.
Iris tilted her head, smiling gently. "If you could have your own world... what kind of world would you want it to be?"
Aurianna hesitated. Her lips parted, but no grand speech came.
Then she laughed softly. "Honestly? I don’t want a world." She shrugged. "Sounds like a lot of work."
"Just a hypothetical, Aurianna," Leila prompted, nudging her lightly.
"Oh, alright!" Aurianna responded, tapping her cheek in thought. Her brows furrowed as she grew quiet, eyes distant. After a long pause, she suddenly blurted, "Hmm... I guess a fun world where I can kill lots of monsters! Oh, and bad people wouldn’t exist." She smiled, satisfied with her answer.
"Leila, what about you?" Iris asked, her tone turning curious.
Leila didn’t hesitate. "A peaceful world, if I had to choose. One where multiple races could live in harmony without fear or hatred."
Iris blinked. "Won’t that be boring?" she asked flatly, her voice laced with disdain.
Leila grinned and gave a thumbs-up. "Boring? I doubt it. I think it would be wonderful."
"But there’d be no one to kill in a peaceful world," Iris muttered, crossing her arms.
"True, but... that’s kind of the point, isn’t it?" Leila said with a shrug.
Iris was quiet for a moment, then gave a slow nod. "Hmm... I see. Thanks for telling me."
"Remember, if you ever need help, just call me and I’ll come. Okay?" she added softly.
"No way!" Leila huffed, folding her arms. "If you solve all my problems, I’ll never catch up to you!"
Iris blinked dramatically, eyes starting to tear up. "My baby sister doesn’t want my help..." she sniffled.
Aurianna chuckled. "We just don’t want you to pamper us too much, Iris."
"You girls are so mean to Iris," Iris pouted, placing a hand over her chest as if wounded.
Aurianna stepped forward and gave a thumbs up. "Don’t worry, big sister. We love you!"
