Saintess? Not Anymore! I'd Rather be a Destroyer-Chapter 284 - 271: White robes
"Your little sister is quite interesting," Aurianna chuckled nervously, glancing sideways at Peter.
"Yeah, she is. Actually, she’s my cousin," Peter sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "But she loves to snoop into people’s business."
"She means well, though," he added quickly, his cheeks turning a faint shade of red. "Don’t mind her words; she was just blabbering nonsense, alright?"
"Hmm," Aurianna murmured, still curious. "By the way, how old are all of you?"
"I’m 115 years old," Elena said casually, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.
"I’m 216," Juvin chimed in with a grin.
"201," Zeche added, crossing his arms.
"I’m 60 years old," Christopher said with a soft smile.
"210," Shuwi replied, her tone nonchalant.
Aurianna’s jaw dropped as she looked around at the group. "You’re all so old!"
"Excuse me?" Elena raised a brow, clearly offended.
"I can’t actually be the youngest, right?" Aurianna gasped, eyes wide.
"Actually, you are," Elena chuckled.
"Noooo!" Aurianna cried out dramatically. "Old people everywhere!"
"Now that’s just mean," Peter said, settling back into his seat with a shake of his head. "We’re all of different races, after all. We each mature at different rates."
"I see," Aurianna muttered, still pouting slightly. Her gaze shifted to Batholem. "Batholem, you’re 18, right?"
"Of course I am," he replied with a confident smirk.
"Finally! Someone normal!" Aurianna let out a sigh of relief.
Peter raised an eyebrow. "Normal? That’s a bit—"
Ignoring him, Aurianna leaned forward, her tone turning curious. "Hmm, so, Sacred Grat. What exactly is he, anyway? Or, in general, what’s a Sacred’s duty?"
Peter tapped his fingers on the table thoughtfully. "Well, Sacred beings are the founders of all the churches. But Sacred Grat is a bit of an eccentric case. He’s the Sacred of Time. His role is to warn the world about what’s to come and help prevent disasters."
"Why would such a powerful person just show up randomly a few days ago?" Aurianna asked, narrowing her eyes.
"He has his reasons," Peter replied. "One of them seems to be his interest in collecting the Pillars."
"What is this Pillar thing you keep talking about?" Aurianna asked, pausing mid-bite of her cake. "You’ve mentioned it so many times, but I’m still confused."
Elena raised an eyebrow at her. "She’s one, and she doesn’t know?"
Aurianna blinked, her fork frozen in mid-air. "Wait, I’m a what?"
"Well, it goes like this," Shuwi began, her tone serious. "In the 18th year of New Era’s birthday, everything is destined to change. Heroes will rise from the unknown and plunge the world into chaos once more. Wars will erupt between countries, and eight Pillars will emerge."
She paused, meeting Aurianna’s gaze. "Four of those Pillars will bring hope to Imanity, while the other four will bring its end."
"But if heroes are going to appear, isn’t it the High God’s fault?" Jade asked suddenly, his deep voice cutting through the conversation. He had been quietly sitting at the edge of the group but couldn’t resist pointing it out. "He owns the world, doesn’t he? Nothing should happen without him knowing."
The room went silent. A tense atmosphere settled over the table, and everyone exchanged wary glances.
"That’s a topic we don’t speak of," Peter stated coldly.
Jade shrugged, leaning back in his chair. "I see."
"So," Aurianna broke the silence, tilting her head curiously, "Who’s this ’New Era’ anyway?"
"You, of course!" Elena said.
Aurianna blinked in surprise. "Wait, what? And my role in this prophecy?"
Juvin folded his arms, his face thoughtful. "Only Sacred Grat knows. He hasn’t shared anyone’s exact role in the prophecy."
"I see," Aurianna muttered, tapping her chin. "And he’s what Sacred again?"
"The Sacred of Time," Peter replied, exasperated. "Pay attention, will you?"
Aurianna frowned, her mind racing. ’Did he perhaps see the future where I summon heroes? If so, why didn’t they do anything to stop it in my past life? Something doesn’t add up.’
"I still don’t see the point of going to this summit just because of some vague prophecy," she said with a shrug.
"This prophecy could affect the entire world!" Juvin snapped, his tone sharp.
"And what does the world have to do with me?" Aurianna asked coldly, her gaze icy.
Juvin leaned forward, his voice steady but grave. "The world is predicted to face two great disasters. First, cultists will summon heroes, leading to an all-out world war like the one 300,000 years ago. Second, monsters will pour out endlessly from dungeons, a monster flood."
Aurianna scowled. "And why is this happening? I really hate the gods. They could easily prevent all of this, but instead, they let Imanity struggle for their amusement."
"That’s not true!" Christopher interjected, his voice firm.
"Then why don’t they simply stop these disasters from happening?" Aurianna asked.
"I... I don’t know," Christopher admitted, looking down.
Aurianna snorted. "Exactly. They’re either incompetent or apathetic."
After a moment, her expression shifted to one of curiosity. "So, which four of us would be the ones to go against Imanity?"
"We don’t know," Juvin replied. "Sacred Grat never revealed that detail."
"I see," Aurianna murmured, though her tone was far from convinced.
"You’re probably one of them, Aurianna," Eva’s voice suddenly rang in her mind, telepathic and calm. "After all, you’ll need to consume more souls to grow stronger."
"As I suspected," Aurianna murmured, a sly smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
"You barely knew anything, girl," Eva retorted, her arms crossed as she rolled her eyes.
"Eva!" Aurianna snapped, though her tone held more amusement than anger.
"So," she asked telepathically, her voice tinged with curiosity, "these people... will they become my enemies?"
"Possibly," Eva replied, her tone indifferent.
Aurianna let out a soft, chuckle. "Heh, well I don’t need to worry about these weaklings. I could easily kill them if I wanted to."
"Pity we’re in Peter’s castle," Aurianna continued. "If I’d known sooner, I would’ve dealt with them back in the dungeon lands. I hate leaving obstacles to fester into future problems." She sighed inwardly.
Breaking her silence, Aurianna asked Peter. "How many pillars are there, and who are they, exactly?"
Peter straightened up before saying. "New Era—Aurianna Vanluad, the human. Peace—Juvin Mintresh, the Starlight. Hope—Elena Celosia, the vampire. Chaos—Peter Diondraff, the elf. Retribution—Zeche Yildaran, the Mecha. End—Christopher Tatsusai, the dragon. Light—Shuwi Asphodel, the Floop. Prosperity—Kiana Cherlus, The Royal Mermaid."
Aurianna’s eyes widened briefly. ’Kiana’s part of this?’ she thought, ’I doubt she even knows.’
Peter added, "Unfortunately, Prosperity hasn’t been found yet, though we know she’s alive."
"I see, I see," Aurianna said aloud, nodding slowly. But internally, her irritation was mounting. ’Hah, what a headache this is turning into.’
"I’m just hoping we can stick together," Juvin said optimistically. "Maybe even become friends. If we are always together, no one will defect to become Imanity’s End."
Aurianna snorted at his naivety. "That’s a childish thing to believe."
Juvin smiled faintly but didn’t waver. "Perhaps. But it’s not impossible."
"Hmm," Aurianna murmured, leaning back. "I guess so."

In the Promised Land of Winki, within the Church of Beauty, Sacred Kielbasa sat at his desk, full of stone tablets. His youthful appearance mirrored Paige. A beautiful subtle smile played on his lips as he thought of something. He wore his large pink robe as always and his pink eyes glowed.
’He’s using his adult form now,’ Gray thought, observing him as she knelt down.
"Sacred Kielbasa," Gray called out respectfully, bowing her head.
"I’m aware," Kielbasa interrupted, his tone calm and composed. "We have a new Saintess."
Gray’s head snapped up, her eyes wide. "Who is she, Sacred?"
"Aurianna Vanluad," Kielbasa said calmly, his gaze fixed on a document in his hands.
"That kid?!" Gray exclaimed, unable to mask her shock.
"Indeed," Kielbasa replied, his smile widening slightly. "And it seems she has become a Grand Human."
Gray’s disbelief deepened. "H-how? That little runt was only a High Human a few years ago!"
"Well, she’s definitely interesting," Kielbasa said, a faint smirk tugging at his lips.
"Will she be used for experiments like the former Saintess?" Gray asked cautiously, her voice low but filled with curiosity.
"I doubt she’d submit without a fight, not with her current power level," Kielbasa replied, leaning back in his chair.
"Then what will we do with her?"
Kielbasa’s smile widened slightly. "She’s our new Saintess. Naturally, we’ll give her a warm welcome... right after the World Summit." His tone was calm but it made Gray very uneasy. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
Kielbasa’s thoughts darkened for a moment. ’A pity she’s gained my mother’s jealousy.’

"Is everyone ready?" King Modred asked cheerfully, his booming voice carrying across the hall as he scanned the group. He stood tall, wearing a beautiful white robe.
The eight pillars were present, all dressed in white robes as well, though Batholem and Aurianna’s subordinates were absent.
"Master, we’ll be inside you," Queen’s voice echoed telepathically in Aurianna’s mind. "If you’re in any danger, we’ll protect you!"
"That’s so thoughtful of you, Queen," Aurianna replied, her lips curving into a small smile. "I won’t have to sacrifice a body part to summon you, right?"
Queen chuckled softly. "No, no need for that. We can remain for a month if necessary. When danger arises, we’ll come out and protect you."
"Alright," Aurianna said.
