Saintess? Not Anymore! I'd Rather be a Destroyer-Chapter 251 - 237: At Heaha town
"Yes, why?" Saem asked nervously.
"You’re lucky then. I don’t mind helping you guys out. I’ve got beef with that stupid organization," Aurianna replied.
"They kidnapped your master?" Zagan asked, looking up at her.
"Yes, Zagan, they did. And I promised I’d kill that bear masked woman," Aurianna said coldly.
’Scary,’ all of Saem’s crew thought as they stared at Aurianna’s cold smile.
"I heard they’re located somewhere on the outskirts of Heaha town, deep in the dungeon lands. Heaha town is like the safe zone there," Saem explained as he stared out at the window of the carraige as they passed by numerous trees and simular carriages. Other people could be seen riding in all sorts of beats and others too walked on foot.
"I see," Aurianna said, nodding slightly.
"Also, you need a special entry ticket, which can be bought in the black market in Heaha town," Saem added turning to face her.
"And are you sure you want to provoke the Flonkong Organization? They’re the largest slave organization in the world, and going against them is like going against the Primordial Humans," Saem asked cautiously.
"I don’t mind," Aurianna said with a shrug.
"I don’t know if you’re confident or just stupid," Saem chuckled.
"Don’t dare underestimate my master!" Hadina growled.
"Hadina, it’s alright. There’s no need to worry," Aurianna reassured her. "Just save who you want to save. I’ll handle everything else."
"But I have a question," Aurianna said.
"Yes, do ask," Saem replied.
"How many slaves are kept at the organization around Heaha town?" Aurianna asked, her voice calm.
"Well, I’ve heard there are more than 200,000 people. Many organizations from all over the world have trade relationships with them for all sorts of items not only slaves. It’s easier to access since they’re near the seaside," Saem answered.
"I see..." Aurianna mused.
’Well, I guess I can recruit all of them into Vatium’s army then,’ Aurianna thought with a grin.
_________
"Waahhh, it’s so pretty!!" Aurianna beamed happily as she wandered through the bustling streets. People moved about, and buildings of all shapes and sizes surrounded them.
"Aurianna, don’t stray too far," Jugi warned.
"Hmm, I want to try the local dishes!" Aurianna said, her eyes gleaming as she eyed the steaming food in the stalls.
"Well, do you have any copper or coins?" Saem asked. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
"I have a magic coin," Aurianna said casually.
’Damn rich folks,’ everyone in the group thought, staring at her.
"You can’t just use magic coins like that! Do you want to get us robbed?" Saem asked.
"Robbed? Anyone who tries would probably be dead before they could even attempt it," Aurianna said with a smirk.
"We’re trying to stay undercover here, y’know?!" Saem exclaimed.
"Why don’t we put on a small performance?" Jugi suggested.
"Do I look like a mere performer to you?!" Aurianna snapped, glaring at him.
"No, but you’re pretty enough to be one. We could make some money and not draw too much attention. Just passing travelers trying to earn a little something, you see? Plus, we could gather some information along the way," Jugi suggested with a grin.
"Hmm, I guess so," Aurianna replied, tilting her head in thought. "But I don’t like the idea of doing something so... trivial. It’s beneath me."
"Do you have any sort of talent, though?" Saem asked curiously.
"Yeah, I can sing. What of it?" Aurianna said dismissively.
"You don’t really look like a singer," Avriel commented with a raised eyebrow.
"Shut the hell up, Avriel," Aurianna snapped.
"Can you sing a song or something?" Saem asked, trying to ease the tension.
"Hmm, what song should I sing?" Aurianna mused.
"Try the *Melodies of Floating Rivers*. They used to sing that a lot in Sandeph," Saem suggested.
"Hmm alright," Aurianna began to sing, her voice flowing like water, soft and mesmerizing. The group stared at her in shock, their expressions frozen in awe, while Hadina and Jade remained calm. However, the others seemed entranced, their minds captivated by the sound of her voice.
Once Aurianna finished, the bystanders who had gathered began to clap, their faces dazed with admiration.
"Your singing voice is truly marvelous!" Jugi exclaimed clapping as well.
’Obviously it would be. Carol trained me after all. Still, I haven’t perfected the death song,’ Aurianna thought smugly.
"Lady Aurianna, have you ever thought about being a singer?" Stephanie, the cat girl with yellow eyes, dark green hair, and brown skin, asked with a mesmerized expression.
"I’m not interested. It’s a waste of time. And please, can the crowd disperse? I won’t be singing again for a while," Aurianna said, her tone laced with irritation.
"We’re sorry!" a few people in the crowd called out, reluctantly scurrying away from the veiled girl.
"Hehe, shoo shoo!" Candy, another cat girl, teased, waving the crowd off.
"I almost thought I was hearing an elf sing. You sound like a siren or a mermaid," Idina, an elf man, remarked.
’Probably because I stole the singing cord from one. But hey, Kiana can still sing, so I see no loss,’ Aurianna thought with a smirk.
"So, are we really going to act like a broke bunch of travelers before we do a performance? We all look far from broke and I spotted a fountain area where Aurianna can sing," Dami, a demi-human bull, suggested.
"Is that legal here, though?" Rufus, the shark man, asked, his deep voice rumbling.
"It’s possible. I’ve seen a lot of mixed races here, and some people have been putting on performances recently," Giev, the fish man, noted.
"And I bet it’ll be easy with this young lass’s voice," Faston, a human woman, chimed in.
"But how will we get the information about the Flonkong Organization?" Echiya, the demi-human bear, asked, scratching her chin and her bear ears twitching.
"It’ll be easier than you think. After all, Aurianna, you have charm magic, don’t you?" Saem said, eyeing her knowingly.
’Oh, he figured it out,’ Jade thought, amused.
"I’m not a Paige worshiper, so charm magic doesn’t really work on me," Saem explained.
"I see, so there’s a flaw in my singing magic. I’ll have to fix that," Aurianna muttered.
"Exactly. While the others are under your spell, we can ask them about the Flonkong Organization," Jugi suggested, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
