Saintess? Not Anymore! I'd Rather be a Destroyer-Chapter 105 - 91: The Pidis explore
However, in a towering sci-fi structure, a group of cyborgs with mechanical wings were thrown into a frenzy. "Our defenses been breached and someone has infiltrated our land!!" cried one of the cyborgs, as multiple screens flickered to life, displaying the Pidis’ seamless entry into the tower, bypassing all of its defenses.
The cyborg leader, a large woman with piercing blue eyes and peach-colored hair, furiously tapped away at her floating screens, trying to identify the intruders. "Who are they?" she demanded, her eyes scanning the streams of data that flowed before her.
"It’s unclear," replied a male Mecha, following closely behind her. "From what we can gather from our data, they seem to be the creations of a Mecha, but we have no record of them in our system, Master Sweet Cakes Ator!"
The cyborgs’ panicked voices echoed through the halls of the towering structure as they struggled to come to grips with this new threat. All around them, machines whirred and beeped, as the cyborgs worked to strengthen the tower’s defenses and ward off any further attempts at infiltration.
Meanwhile, the Pidis, oblivious to the chaos they had caused, continued their mission, flying deeper into the tower, scanning every nook and cranny for any sign of the information they sought. With their tiny bodies glowing softly in the dim light of the tower, they fluttered through the air, their wings beating rapidly as they darted between the machines and cables that filled the space.
Despite the cyborgs’ efforts, the Pidis proved to be too swift and elusive to be caught. They flitted through the structure, leaving no stone unturned in their search for knowledge. And though they may have caused chaos and confusion in the minds of the cyborgs, the Pidis continued on, driven by their insatiable thirst for information.
"Eliminate those entities immediately. Their presence suggests that they are after something of great importance. We must safeguard everything, especially the Knowledge Cubes!" Ator ordered, and the male and female Mechas flanking her vanished from sight.
In response, the other mechas in the vicinity promptly advanced towards the Pidis outside and inside the tower, morphing their arms and bodies into mechanical weaponry. Their intentions were clear: to neutralize the Pidis and prevent them from achieving their objective.
The Pidis swiftly maneuvered through the corridors, attaching themselves to the interior and exterior of the tower, their eyes displaying a loading screen. They began their task, undeterred by the Mecha. The Mechas who spotted the Pidis launched a furious assault, but their attacks appeared futile against the Pidis’ defenses.
As soon as the Pidis had successfully extracted the data from the Knowledge Cube room, they declared in unison, "Data download complete. The data has been successfully transmitted!"
In a highly secured chamber, adorned with an array of large black cubes, hovering in the air, emanating an eerie dark purple glow. At the center of the room stood Ator who found herself face-to-face with a peculiar Pidi that was being squeezed by her strong grip. The Pidi had latched onto a towering knowledge cube, standing well over a hundred feet tall, while an assortment of floating codes swirled around it.
In a tone brimming with anger, Ator confronted the Pidi, tightly clutching it in her grasp. "Who are you? What’s your purpose here? Don’t you realize you’re picking a fight with Azarath?!"
The Pidi replied in a childlike voice, "My master wants to know everything about the past and present. All the knowledge this world possesses, and it seems that 30% of it can only be found scattered throughout the world. Quite unfortunate, really."
Ator’s nervousness was palpable as she asked the Pidi, "What does your master need all this knowledge for?" 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
"That’s none of your concern. This Pidi, along with its comrades, will activate self-destruct mode to safeguard sensitive data and confidential information." Abruptly, the Pidi exploded, triggering a chain reaction among its fellow Pidis that were being pursued by the larger Mechas. The explosion was colossal, leaving most of the Mechas nearvy severely injured.
Swearing under her breath, Ator seethed, "That despicable traitor!" Ator muttered under her breath, feeling angry and frustrated. Though she was unharmed by the blast, she remained vigilant and activated a protective shield around the Knowledge Cube. "I had hoped to uncover their true intentions with the power of Absolute Truth, but they outsmarted me."
Amidst her frustration, Ator chuckled darkly, the sound of her laughter echoing through the room. "Yuhahaha! It’s been over two hundred thousand years since someone dared to cross the Mechas. And this traitor is about to pay the price!" She exclaimed, brushing her hair upwards in a carefree gesture. She glared intensely at the Knowledge Cube, determination etched on her face, and strode purposefully out of the room.
__________
High above the vast expanse of the sky lands, some Pidis soared with incredible speed, whisking themselves into an entirely different realm. It was a place unlike any continents or countries found on the land below.
As the Pidis drew closer to this new area, they were greeted by a breathtaking sight—a colossal gate that stood as a testament to grandeur. "Pidi, Pidi, behold the gate of the heavens!" exclaimed one Pidi, its voice filled with excitement, prompting the others to beam with anticipation and follow closely behind..
The gates stood tall and majestic, their presence commanding awe. Elaborate carvings adorned their surface, depicting mythical creatures and celestial landscapes, as if showcasing the very essence of otherworldly beauty. Soft, ethereal blue light radiated from within the gate, casting a mesmerizing glow that enveloped the surroundings in a radiant aura.
Knowing that entering the divine realm of the gods uninvited was a risky endeavor, the Pidis moved with utmost caution, trying to blend into the ethereal surroundings. Their bodies seamlessly shifted, employing camouflage to cloak their presence within the divine realm. Each flight was taken with extreme care, as though the slightest misstep could expose their presence.
But despite the risks, the Pidis were awestruck by the sheer beauty of the heavens. Floating islands suspended in mid-air, bedecked with shimmering gardens and grand palaces, stretched out as far as the eye could see. Celestial beings, with their radiant wings and luminous auras, moved gracefully through the air, chatting peacefully with each other or locked in heated debates.
However, the Pidis’ destination lay deeper within this celestial realm. "Our goal is to locate the Hall of Cosmic Knowledge, the sanctuary where the goddess of wisdom has preserved the secrets and knowledge of the world," declared one Pidi, its voice filled with determination, as the others nodded in agreement.
"From what I remember from the data we gathered, the Hall of Cosmic Knowledge is just a few kilometers from here," chimed in another Pidi, its digital voice filled with excitement, as they zipped through the celestial realm at the speed of light.
As the Pidi continued their journey, they relied on their keen instincts, following their intuition to uncover the hidden paths and long-forgotten trails that would lead them closer to their destination. Along the way, they were greeted by magnificent sights that filled their mechanical hearts with awe.
Glistening fountains, shimmering with the infusion of cosmic energy, adorned their path, their waters cascading with ethereal grace. Delicate groves of celestial trees whispered ancient melodies on the gentle breeze, carrying the weight of profound calmness. The very essence of the air seemed to hum with a captivating blend of wisdom and tranquility.
The Pidis continued their journey, their excitement and anticipation mounting as they drew closer to the Hall of Cosmic Knowledge. The celestial scenery was truly breathtaking, and the Pidis could hardly contain their amazement at the beauty of the heavenly realm. They marveled at the intricate architecture of the palaces, the sparkling gemstones that decorated the gardens, and the vast space of the blue sky above them.
Finally, they reached their destination – the Hall of Cosmic Knowledge. The building was unlike anything they had ever seen before. It towered above them, with its walls made of a mysterious substance that seemed to glow from within. The Pidis landed in front of the entrance and stood in awe as they gazed upon the grand structure. Its colossal doors towered above them, crafted from precious metals and adorned with intricate engravings depicting the cycle of creation and destruction.
As the Pidis reached out to touch the surface of the door, a hum reverberated through their being, filling them with anticipation.
They immediately passed through the door like a ghost, revealing a vast chamber bathed in a gentle, pulsating light, the place was much bigger than it was on the outside.
