S.P.E.C.T.O.R-Chapter 560: Nada Keita

“So, where do we find this Nada Keita?” Adam asked.

As Adam finished speaking, the image displayed on the holographic screen changed to show footage of what was obviously a photoshoot before Spector answered.

“Nada Keita appears to be partaking in a photoshoot on the very top floor of the building, along with several other models and professionals in the industry.”

“I have to admit that the skyline makes for an excellent backdrop,” Rowena remarked as she looked at the holographic screen again.

“I agree,” Eri remarked.

“It seems to be more than just a photoshoot,” Emma remarked as she indicated the video cameras.

“What are those?” Tephe asked curiously.

“Professional video cameras,” Adam replied before adding, “Maybe it’s for an advert.”

“That’s my guess,” Emma stated.

“So what’s the plan?” Lorelie asked.

“I’m kinda getting annoyed at having to fly all over the world to figure this whole thing out,” Adam replied in annoyance.

“So what are you going to do?” Stacey asked.

“Finish this so we can head for Aqua Primus and enjoy the beach,” Adam replied as he controlled the shuttle to fly up towards the top floor of the Burj Khalifa.

“You just want to see us all in bikinis,” Stacey teased.

[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): Don’t forget that you need to come pick me up first.]

“Don’t forget that we need to go pick Revi up,” Tephe noted.

[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): Well done, goddaughter.]

“It's time for a more direct approach,” Adam replied before he stood up and left the main compartment of the shuttle.

“Where’s he going?” Emma asked curiously.

“Probably the shuttle's cargo bay to equip his antigravity armour, he brought one along just in case,” Stacey replied.

“Does he really need it though? We saw firsthand that those projectiles couldn’t do much damage to him,” Eri asked.

“Nada Keita most likely has bodyguards protecting her, and since she’s the daughter of the Keita family head, I wouldn’t be surprised if they're better armed,” Emma replied.

“I see,” Eri replied.

“Cut,” The director said before walking over to Nada with a beaming smile and saying, “As amazing as ever, Nada.”

“Thank you,” Nada replied politely.

“Yeah, right, he’s only saying that because he wants to get in good with the Keita family,” one of the production crew whispered to her friend.

“Quiet, or do you want to get fired?” her friend hissed back.

“Oh, please, we all know she only got this gig thanks to her family's connections.”

“Yeah, well, that’s a privilege of the rich and powerful, isn’t it?”

“YOU TWO, STOP GOSSIPING OVER THERE AND GET NADA SOME WATER,” the director suddenly shouted at the two whispering crew members.

“Yes, sir,” one of them replied before hurrying off to do just that.

“Nada, I hear you got a major role in Jordan Jacob’s next movie,” A handsome male who played the male lead in the advert said as he approached.

“That’s correct, luckily Producer Jacob’s just happened to think I was appropriate for the role of female lead,” Nada replied politely while flinging her long hair over one shoulder.

“Does that mean you will be heading to the US soon?” The handsome male asked.

“That’s correct. Filming starts next week,” Nada replied.

“Then we had better finish our work tonight so that you can get lots of rest, Nada, dear,” The director replied before clapping his hands and saying, “Places, people, places.”

The filming continued for a couple more minutes with the nighttime skyline of Dubai as the backdrop until something suddenly rose up outside the window.

“CUT!” The director yelled angrily before asking, “What the hell is that? It’s ruining the shot?”

As everyone turned to look outside the window, they were shocked to find a human-shaped figure in dark armour that had large dragon-like wings and tail.

“Is that a person?” One of the crew asked.

“Don’t be stupid, it’s floating in midair,” Another retorted before adding, “It’s probably a manikin or something that's being suspended by wires.”

“Well, the director doesn’t seem to know anything about it,” The first crew member replied.

“What the fuck is this? Is someone playing a prank? No one told me about this?” The director fumed as he looked around at the crew and bombarded them with questions.

“Is it something the client asked for at the last minute?” Nada asked in confusion.

“They never told me about this,” The director fumed before turning to his assistant and ordering, “Get the client on the line.”

The assistant had just reached for their phone, but froze when they and everyone else noticed the human-shaped thing slowly approach the window before its tail suddenly shot out and pierced the glass, causing it to shatter.

Many of the crew screamed or cried out in shock as they witnessed the glass break before quickly backing away from the now windowless opening as the cool night wind blew in.

“Nada Keita, I have some questions for you,” Adam suddenly said as he flew in through the windowless opening and landed on the floor.

[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): Look how terrified they are. Kekeke.]

[Celebrityhunter69 (Earth): You would be too if you saw something like that.]

[Animefangirl (Earth): That entry was so Anime.]

Everyone turned to look at Nada, who gulped and asked with a quiver, “Who, who are you?”

“Adam Spencer,” Adam replied as his helmet retracted to reveal his appearance.

“You!” Nada exclaimed as her eyes widened in shock and fear.

“Stay behind us, miss,” A burly man said as he and another who had been standing near the observation platform's entrance dashed in front of Nada to protect her while pulling out their weapons.

[Gunlovergirl (Earth): FN Five-seveN semi-automatic pistols. They can fire armour-piercing rounds; it seems it was a good idea for the streamer to wear his armour.]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): I doubt even the streamer's body could withstand AP rounds.]

“The mass murderer?” The director asked in shock.

“I thought he had gone into hiding?” A crew member asked.

“What’s he doing here?” The handsome male asked.

Adam smiled before adding, “Now, Miss Keita, I have some questions for you.”

“If… if you know who I am, then you know who my mother is….” Nada began, only for Adam to interrupt her.

“Please don't do that cliche, my father will get revenge if anything happens to me, rubbish.”

[RealOtaku (Earth): Damn, streamer didn’t even let her finish.]

[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Good. That line really is cliché.]

“Watch your mouth, you bastard," The other guard cursed.

Adam glanced at the guard before ignoring him as he spoke to the crowd, “The rest of you can leave. It’s only Miss Keita I have questions for.”

After hearing his words, everyone except Nada and her two guards quickly turned and ran towards the observation platform's entrance.

[MercheadAnderson (Palaxia): Damn, look at them go.]

[LadyErkath (Alastor): Well, Adam is known as a mass murderer on his planet, so it’s not really surprising.]

“Cowards,” Nada cursed under her breath.

“Cowards? Really, Miss Keita?” Adam responded before asking, “Do you really think so highly of yourself that people should throw their lives away for you?”

“Please, I don’t believe for a second that you would kill me,” Nada retorted as she managed to calm herself down slightly after seeing that Adam hadn’t done anything.

“Oh? And why is that? I have already killed two members of the Morose family after all,” Adam asked.

“Because from what my father tells me, you only kill those you have a grudge with, such as Viktor Morose and as far as I’m aware, you and I have no such grudge,” Nada answered.

“Miss, you shouldn’t speak with this man, don’t forget that he killed his own girlfriend,” One of the guards warned.

“It seems your family hasn’t even told their lackeys the truth,” Adam said with a frown.

“And what truth would that be?” Nada asked with a smirk.

[Lizziethetruepower (Palaxia): She’s got guts, gotta give her some credit.]

[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): She's only acting like that because she thinks she's safe.]

[LadyErkath (Alastor): You're not wrong. Adam might not have killed anyone not related to his ex-girlfriend's murder previously. But that's not the case now.]

[Superhearofangirl (Earth): Don’t the deaths of those on board the plane that was transporting Francis and Viktor Morose count as innocents?]

[LadyErkath (Alastor): Oh! Appears I was wrong, my mistake.]

“What about the other people on board the plane transporting Francis and Viktor Morose that I shot down?” Adam asked.

“What about them?” Nada replied.

[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): It seems Nada Keita doesn’t consider the others on that plane as innocent.]

“I see,” Adam replied before adding, “Though I’m afraid you're wrong about one thing.”

“What’s that?” Nada asked.

“This,” Adam said as he pressed a section of the force staff that had been in his hand and a red blaster bolt shot out and struck the guard, who hadn’t spoken yet, in the chest.

“FUCK!” The other guard cursed as he started to fire his postol.

BANG BANG BANG BANG

As the guard continued to fire, the AP bullets bounced off Adam’s armour and dropped to the floor as Adam began to approach the pair.

“FUCK!” The guard cursed again as he swapped out his magazine while saying, “Miss, you need to run. I will hold him off.”

“Ri… right,” Nada, who had been gaping at her now dead guard in shock, said as she came to her senses and turned to flee.

“Think it will be that easy?” Adam asked as his tail shot out and pierced the guard through the chest.
