The description clued Ezra into the skills function, but there was only one way to ascertain its effects.

Teleporting to a random star zone, Ezra looks in all directions, before activating it.

Two seconds later, a wave of energy-at least ten times more massive than his normal attacks-spreads in all directions in the shape of a disc.

At the activation of the skill, Ezra was left looking blankly.

While it was only two seconds, Ezra felt the skills activation vividly.

Upon activation, he felt his energy sucked out of his body at an extreme pace.

It took more than ninety percent of his entire energy capacity, plunging Ezra straight into exhaustion as a wave of dizziness hit his mind.

Subconsciously activating <sovereigns movement>, Ezra teleports to a nearby planet and slumps to his knees upon. appearing.

He begins coughing loudly whilst trying to stabilize his exhausted body.

A couple of minutes go by and his erratic breathing reduces to occasional gasps, while the dizziness also reduces substantially.

But before he could begin to rejoice, the wave of energy he let off earlier appeared on the horizon.

It shrinked while heading back towards to him.

Therefore, by the time it reached Ezra, the massive energy ring has shrunk to very little.

Upon being absorbed back into Ezra’s body, his expression froze.

He froze as though suffering from brain freeze.

His coughing stopped, and did all other movements.

Only the sound of his beating heart would clue others to the fact that he was alive at the moment.

Frozen while on his knees, trails of blood stretch down from his nose and not long after, his eyes as well, and they continued to drip.

Ten minutes after, Ezra fell on his side like a statue and simply lay there.

"Ack!"

Waking up, the first thing Ezra did was puke a good amount of blood.

After doing that, Ezra head kept swaying as though he was drunk, with his eyesight being very much blurry as well, he couldn’t make out his surroundings at all.

Making incomprehensible noises, Ezra falls on his back and enters a slumber for a second time.

After an unknown amount of time, Ezra regains consciousness once again.

"OH! My head!" Ezra exclaims, clutching his head tightly as a headache engulfs him.

After almost ten minutes, the headaches subsides, allowing Ezra a better grasp on reality.

Slowly, he raises himself from the ground, standing upright but not without wobbling a bit.

Cleaning the dust off his body and face, Ezra’s eyesight becomes clear as does his hearing, though after effects inevitably remained.

"What, happened?" Ezra questions rhetorically.

[The new skill drained you of almost all your energy and then overloaded your brain with too much information, forcing you into a comatose state]

"I see...how long has it been"

"Four days huh..." muttering, Ezra suddenly burst into anger. "Damn skill! Is the system trying to kill me?!"

[All the skills given by the Sovereign System are meant to be used by a sovereign] Zydrax explained. [A full fledged sovereign]

[While you’ve been using it fine until now with other skills, this one was too much for your body to withstand]

"So, I’m going to get more skills like this?"

"What does it even do?!" Ezra questions in frustration.

"Woah" Ezra was astonished. "So what did you do?"

[I tinkered with the skill to have it function in a different way. Now, you don’t have to worry about anything happening to your brain]

As Zydrax was speaking, Ezra opens the [Abilities] and finds a <Map> skill placed beneath the <Lifeseeker> skill, with it’s function written in front of it.

<Map>:: Works in conjunction with <Lifeseeker> to create a map with the relayed information.

[Try it out] Zydrax urged.

Activating it, a separate screen popped up, showcasing the planets within the radius the wave of energy reached, along with the asteroids.

Going further, it shows the planets populations and what sorts of creatures where living in which planet in detail.

’This...!’

Seeing this, Ezra was forced to put away his misgivings about the skill.

Perusing the map in front of him, Ezra’s expression gradually grew serious.

’It’s not an offensive skill, but this isn’t bad at all’ Ezra shook his head as other ideas flooded his mind. ’No, no, there’s a lot I can do with this!’

Thinking about it, wasn’t this the type of skill just unmatched among scouting abilities?

Moreover, looking over the fact that he intended to scourge the astral sea to look for undiscovered land in the near future.

There were little skills that would be as useful as this one at the moment.
