Rise of the Crusader-Chapter 235 Elisa’s Response
Camille was naturally uncomfortable undressing in front of a man, and as her gaze went toward her lower body, she bit her lips.
"Can… Can you turn around," Camille said.
Raphael knitted his brows after Camille spoke. He chose to seize her from top to bottom and after a brief moment, he turned his back on her.
Camille didn't undress herself immediately, she waited for a few seconds, and after Raphael didn't seem to have any intention of facing her, she loosened her pant.
"Here." Camille stretched the pants out from the side.
Just as Raphael wanted to take hold of the pants from Camille's hand, a female voice sounded.
"Raphael, I'm back."
As Raphael heard that familiar voice, the expression on his face changed slightly. He turned towards Camille and seeing the grim look on her face, he sighed.
"No, no, no… Elias is going to get the wrong idea, I need to leave quickly." Camille blurted.
She hurriedly grabbed her clothes from Raphael's hand and was about to dash out of the living room when two figures appeared a few meters away from her.
Staring at Aurora and Elisa, Camille gulped.
"Y-" Camille stuttered.
And as she saw the look on Aurora and Elisa's faces as they stared at her, Camille immediately covered her body with the clothes in her hand.
Aurora's mouth was wide open, she stared at Raphael, wondering what he was thinking.
There was an impending case between the both of them, and yet, a woman with barely any clothes on was in the living room.
"E-Elisa… It isn't what you think." Camille suddenly broke the silence in the living room.
Seeing the look on Elisa's spoke after she spoke, Camille's body trembled slightly. She turned towards Raphael, hoping he would say something, but was soon left disappointed, seeing the look on his face.
The usual poker face!
Camille cursed Raphael heavily for choosing to act as though this was of no importance.
"Elisa, I can explain."
Camille had only just spoken when Elisa shook her head at her and said. "What's there to explain, Camille."
"There's nothing to explain. I can tell what happened between the both of you." Elisa added.
Upon hearing Elisa, Camille's heart raced. This was perhaps the tensest moment she had ever been through in her entire life.
Even though she had only become close to Elisa a few months ago, she knew just how much she loved Raphael, and ruining something that precious was very cruel.
However, there she was, in only her brassiere and underwear, while he was only putting on shorts.
Despite Camille being able to keep a calm composure in hazardous situations, this wasn't one of them.
"It's really not what you think, Elisa." Camille wiped the beads of sweat on her forehead as she spoke.
"I'm pretty sure it's what I think." Elisa retorted and then took a step forward.
"I can see some stains on your clothes, and also some on Raphael's cloth. And judging from that smell, one of you must have vomited on the other person." Elisa said.
"It definitely isn't Raphael, so that means you vomited on Raphael's body. He had to take off his clothes because he hates dirt most especially around him, and the same goes for you, Camille"
There was neither a smile nor a frown on Elisa's face as she spoke.
However, as Camille heard Elisa, her mouth opened slightly, as this was precisely what transpired between the both of them.
"That's what happened, isn't it?"
Elisa asked, and responding to her came to a nod from Camille.
Camille took a deep breath soon after.
Seeing Raphael's upper body naked, while Camille was only on her brassiere and underwear, would have caused doubt in the majority of couples out there, but it wasn't Elisa.
The level of trust she had for Raphael was at another height.
As Camille saw the look on Elisa's face, she was even more certain of it. There wasn't a moment whereby Elisa thought that something occurred between her and Raphael.
"But, I don't understand something." Suddenly, Elisa spoke as she stared at Raphael and then at Camille.
"Why did you vomit on Raphael, and how did you get to the mansion?" Elisa asked.
Camille's face lit immediately after Elisa spoke. This was finally her chance to add to what had already been said.
However, as she stared at her body which was filled with bruises and scars, Camille's mouth opened so wide that an egg would fit inside.
She turned towards Raphael with shock then written all over her face. "How can this be possible," Camille muttered.
A moment ago, there wasn't an inch of her body that wasn't covered in scars or bruises, but at the moment, there wasn't even a blemish on her body not to talk of bruises.
Skin-like milk was the statement to describe Camille's body.
"The drink," Camille mumbled as she recalled the drink Raphael gave to her.
Her body was still covered in bruises before she drank from the cup, it was only afterward that the scars and bruises all over her body must have disappeared.
Camille's eyes became teary immediately, as a woman, her body could as well be said to be a sacred region, even the tiniest bit of scar could ruin her beauty.
Camille had assumed she would live with the scars for the rest of her life, but as it turns out, she wouldn't. The drink which Raphael offered her didn't just replenish her, it rejuvenated her whole body.
"Thank you," Camille said.
A slight nod came from Raphael after Camille spoke.
He didn't turn toward her, instead, he had eyes fixed on Elisa and Aurora who were in front of him.
"Raphael, why don't you go freshen up, I will come to join you now." Elisa turned towards Raphael.
After Elisa spoke, Raphael began walking away from the living room. He glared at Aurora for a few seconds before finally leaving the room.
And once Raphael was no longer in sight, Elisa walked towards Camille. "You should also go freshen up."
"There's a free room on the second floor, and you can also stay here if you want to. It's dangerous out there, I wouldn't want any harm to happen to you." Elisa said with a smile on her face.
Elisa turned towards Aurora, "And you too, Aurora."
"Then we can discuss what you wanted to tell me earlier."
