Rise of the Crusader-Chapter 230 The Card Up His Sleeves
Meanwhile, somewhere in the city, Bane stood with his hands folded across his chest and a stern look on his face.
He glared at the several insects that were on the ground, seemingly frustrated.
"Submission, then domination over them." As the voice in his head sounded, Bane gritted his teeth and cursed inwardly.
The truth was those words were easier said than done.
Bane had pulled out almost every trick in the book just to make the insects submit to him, however, regardless of the stunts he did, the insects remained indifferent.
They stared at him as though he were an idiot.
"Bastard!" Bane blurted, seeing the disdainful expression on the bullet ants family and the giant hornets group.
Clearly, the insects weren't taking him seriously, and this was after he was able to gather a majority of them together.
"Come on, there has to be something else that I can do. These insects are Jackass!" Bane exclaimed.
He had been hoping for a different answer from the system, but when the voice sounded, it was still the same response, he received.
Bane took a deep breath, he knew he had to think of a different approach or else not to talk of training the insects like he was told to, he wouldn't even be able to have them listen to him.
Staring at the insects in the surrounding, Bane could naturally tell that it was only just a matter of time before they began to leave.
And as if the insects knew what Bane's fear was as they began to move away from them.
Upon seeing the insects who seemed to have decided to leave unanimously, Bane's eyes twitched. As they had scattered all over the place, he couldn't block any exit, instead, his loud voice rang out.
"Stop right there, you sons of bitches!" Bane cursed, and this time around, there was rage written on his face.
The insects abruptly paused, they turned their heads towards Bane, and seeing that intent across his eyes, they glanced at one another.
"Here is what we will do." Bane said, "I want five straight lines in front of me. Organize yourself from the strongest to the weakest."
"Quick! What are you still waiting for?" Bane blurted.
Accompanied by Bane's voice came a whiff of death-killing intent, and as the insects sensed that lethal aura around him, they immediately moved in his order.
While Bane hadn't moved from his position, he still somehow gave the feeling that, if they didn't comply with what he wanted, he was going to annihilate each one of them.
"Good!" Bane suddenly exclaimed.
Even though he could still sense rebellion from some of the insects, this wasn't a bad start for him.
And after nodding his head repeatedly, Bane spoke.
"I will be your trainer for the next two weeks, so I'm going to need you to be on your best behavior." Said, Bane. "You will have three strikes, and if after those strikes you fail to adhere to my instructions…." Bane paused.
He glared at the ants in front of him, "Death will be your penalty."
Bane smirked, there was still a bit of rebellious nature among some of the insects in the surrounding, but if there was something he was almost confident about apart from picking up ladies, then it was his training skills.
"If you have any message you would like to pass, do so, or you might forever hold your peace," Bane said flatly.
He then waited got a few minutes, and as none of the insects came forward, he stretched both of his hands forward.
"Good! Let's begin." With that said, and five giant insects appeared on Bane's palm.
The insects were unlike any other, as they were mutated insects. A two-headed, three-headed, and even a four-headed insect was on Bane's palm.
The five insects stared at the others in front, and there was a disdainful look on their faces… An expression that was full of complete mockery.
They rolled their eyes at the beasts, and after staring at them for a few more seconds, they turned away.
"Hehe!" Bane chuckled upon seeing how the five insects had reacted to the others in front.
He couldn't blame them, as the five of them indeed had the right to look upon these insects in this way.
There was a reason Bane was able to act outrageously in the academy, and it mainly had to do with the five insects in his hand.
What others considered to be the scourge of the world was deemed as the utmost possession by Bane.
And staring at the five mutated insects on his palm, there was nothing but love on Bane's face. It seemed as though he was able to give up anything in the world, so long as the insects were safe and healthy.
"I won't go against my words, I promise." Bane suddenly spoke.
He then smirked, "As long as the five of you get what I asked of you done, of course." Bane added with a grin on his face.
The five mutated insects glanced at one another for a few seconds before then moving their gaze to Bane.
And as if in sync, the five of them nodded their head repeatedly.
"Now, let's get into work, and I want you to be as ruthless as possible. Show no mercy whatsoever in the slightest." Said, Bane.
Another nod came from the mutated insects, and as the five of them turned toward the other insects around them, a domineering aura exploded out of their body.
The insects on a straight line had been staring at Bane, but most especially the strange multicolored insects on his palm. They could already get a wary feeling from them, and as soon as the aura exploded out of their body, they moved backward.
As accompanied by the domineering aura was a deadly intent that caused the bodies of the insects around to tremble violently.
And be it the insects who seemed to want to rebel against Bane or others, they all acted in a composed manner.
Bane sneered upon seeing the insects lowering their head before him. He raised his head, and as the five insects leaped to the ground, he simply placed his hand behind him.
"Let's begin the training!" It was one of the mutated insects that spoke.
