Rise of The Anti God-Chapter 711: The City Within The Dome
"EHH!" Damien was startled and taken aback when this woman suddenly hugged him so intimately. He could feel her supple body pressing against his chest, and already the draconic blood in his body was getting restless.
Still, he didn't lower his guard and simply stood still to see what this woman was going to do.
"Damien, kalan luma…."
However, the longer she kept on hugging him while mumbling some things incoherently, the more he felt less wary of her.
Her touch didn't feel foreign to him, and after the initial surprise subsided, he only became more curious about her.
But since he didn't speak her language, he couldn't even ask anything.
"I am sorry. I forgot you don't speak the nethereal language," The woman said as she took a step back and looked at him with a nostalgic smile.
Damien's brows raised as he asked, "You speak the ethereal language?"
The woman chuckled as she said, "Of course, I can. And I know…you are Damien. I am sure you have a lot of questions just like me, especially after we both saw each other's amulets. I also know you may not trust me yet, but I am telling you, there is nothing to worry about me. And staying here will only be a danger for you. So right now, let's get out of here, and you can call me Akira."
"Akira…" Damien mumbled and felt as if this was not the first time he had heard his name. But he couldn't remember when he had heard it before.
But before he could think of anything, Akira flew up into the skies while using her nethereal energy to carry him along with her as well.
Damien didn't resist due to a couple of reasons. The obvious one was that there was no point due to the sheer difference in their power. If she wanted to hurt him, she could have simply used force. However, the main reason for him was that he could feel the sincerity in what she had told him before.
Even though he never really showed any curiosity about his origins, he couldn't help but feel like following her to know more now that the opportunity had presented itself before him.
Meanwhile, Lily, Valentina, Reva, and Yuria were following Farah and five of her people who were wearing suits.
So far, they never came upon any trouble, and these four could see that these people in suits knew what they were doing.
"We are here," One of the men in suits announced while Lily and her fellow sisters were confused since all they could see was just ashen plains ahead of them.
But suddenly, the air in front of them flickered, and the next moment a large silver dome revealed itself.
The dome was so big and wide that Yuria was sure it was even larger than a couple of cities together.
"Come on. Let's get inside. We…I mean, this will be your home," Farah said with a smile, though Valentina still had a wary look as she took a good look at this dome.
She had no plans to make this place her home. All she and her sisters cared about was finding Damien.
Lily held Valentina's hand as she said, "Come on, Valentina. We can't stay outside anyway. It's too dangerous."
Reva and Yuria also looked at her and nodded. These two were still somehow enduring the weakness they were feeling under the atmosphere of this world. Valentina narrowed her eyes, but she knew her sisters were right, so she entered the giant dome along with them.
And the moment the four of them entered, all four of them were surprised by how rich and comfortable the air was inside.
However, what astonished them even more was that the inside of the dome was like a massive city with lots of roads and buildings. The important thing was that they could see a lot of lush greenery, which was absent outside of this dome.
They could spot beautiful flowers and fruits hanging down the branches of tall trees.
But overall, the city didn't look grand or beautiful in the slightest compared to the cities in the empires these four had lived till now.
Despite all the greenery, there was still a dark or gloomy atmosphere looming over the entire city.
They could even see creepers and vines growing over the walls of these barely maintained buildings.
However, they could notice the difference in the architecture of these poorly maintained buildings. Back in their world, their buildings were built with a focus on landscape and spiritual comfort. Mostly these buildings would be made out of wood and Spirit Stones, especially for their great halls, curved arches, vaults, and so on.
But in this city, the buildings were very minimalistic in nature and monochromatic. It was as if whoever built these buildings did so by making the best use of the space. They also seemed to be created with materials these four couldn't recognize, and the only thing they could recognize was glass which occupied a lot of areas on these buildings.
There were also a couple of bridges going across this dome city, and after taking a look at the people of this densely populated city, these four were yet again surprised.
They saw that these people weren't wearing clothes that were anything similar to theirs. The clothes these four wore and even the people back in their continent were ornate and beautiful. Even among the poor ones, they would still be wearing simple yet classical ones.
But here, these people were wearing quite minimalistic clothes. Shirts and pants of some unknown lighter and thinner material. Some were wearing certain garments for the upper body with sleeves, and the entire garment was tightly fit around the sides.
If Damien had seen this garment, he would say it was just a jacket.
However, they felt so many gazes landing on them and realized that they were drawing so much attention due to how much they were standing out, especially with the beautiful clothes they were wearing and Valentina, who was wearing quite a sexy one.
But more than that, it was the arrival of four otherworldly beauties that made the people of this city stop on their feet after getting charmed by their beauty.
