Later that night, somewhere deep within the neighboring empire of Jin, two figures sat across from each other.

One of them, a man dressed in dark robes, let out a faint laugh. "The second prince is really a fool."

His companion, a man with sharp eyes and a calculating smile, smirked. "He actually believes we are helping him to claim the throne. How amusing."

The first man continued. "And he hands over their empire's military reports without a question. Does he not realize how foolish he is? I bet he doesn't even know what we are planning."

The second man nodded his head. "He is too desperate for power."

They exchanged knowing glances, their expressions filled with quiet satisfaction.

"Once he weakens his own empire from within, our path will be clear to attack," the first man continued. "The moment their forces are disintegrate, we will strike."

The second man chuckled. "But we must move carefully. If the emperor of Wei grows suspicious, our plans may fail."

The first man leaned forward, lowering his voice. "That is why we must break their empire from the inside. And what's a better way than an illness?"

The second man's eyes gleamed with approval. "The widespread sickness is already beginning in small villages. With a little push, it will spread across their empire. Their economy will suffer, their people will weaken, and their armies will struggle."

The first man smirked. "And while they are busy fighting an invisible enemy, we will march in and capture their empire."

A silence fell between them.

The second man finally spoke again. "Then, what about the second prince?"

The first man's face darkened. "Let him believe he is still in control of our army. When the time comes, he will be of no use to us. Whether he lives or dies will no longer matter, well, the more he lives the more we gain informations."

The two men sat back, satisfied with their plans. The empire of Wei was about to face a crisis it could not see coming. And in the chaos, the true enemy would rise.
