Revenge Deal With The Devil-Chapter 76: KISS AT THE TOP OF A ROLLER COASTER
The shop keeper stood behind the counter dumbstruck not sure if he had heard Damon clearly, even if he did howw the hell did Damon know what he was thinking.
Blood drained from the shop keeper’s face just at the thought of it, he really messed with the wrong people this time around.
"That was tense." Amelia commented as she hooked her arms in Damon’s arm.
"Yeah it was." Damon said as they both walked around the amusement park with smiles on their faces.
"I want some cotton candy, let’s go get some." Damon raised his eyebrows looking at Amelia’s back as she dragged him to where cotton candies were being sold.
She picked up two and paid for it giving the attendant a soft smile, Damon had a frown on his face seeing the male attendant drooling at Amelia, he felt the urge to kill someone ignite within him, how dare he look at his woman like that what gave him the galls.
"Let’s go." Amelia said happily beaming with smiles as she appeared in front of Damon holding the two cotton candies.
Damon gave the attendant a hard glare before heading away from there with Amelia, "Why did you buy two cotton candy, was it because the attendant was cute." Damon grumbled with jealousy evident on his face, "Don’t be silly." Amelia rolled her eyes unlocking her arms with his as she held each candy with one hand.
"I saw you smile at him." Damon murmurmed childish making Ammeelia giggle, "It was just a friendly smile, besides one of this candy is for you." Amelia sais stretching one of the candy to Damon.
"I don’t take any other sweet things apart from you." Damon shrugged with a serious expression on his face.
"Rascal!" Amelia yelled as her face flushed red, she could not believe he could say such thing with a straight face, "I’m saying the truth though." Damon tucked his hands into his pockets.
"Either way just take it." Amelia shoved this cotton candy into his mouth and took a bite of her own.
Damon felt the candy melt into his mouth almost immediately and it left this sweet savouring taste behind.
After many years roaming in the human realm this was the first time he had tasted this and it was damn delicious although he said he did not take any other sweet things, it seemed that was about to change from this moment.
Damon finished the cotton candy in a jiffy and was meant with Amelia watchful eyes, he flushed in embarrassment as he went back on his own words due to how delicious it was.
"Don’t worry, I’m not judging." Amelia chuckled using her elbow to slightly nudge Damon’s stomach.
"Whatever." He said trying to hide his embarrassment from her.
"So our next ride is going to be that." Amelia changed the topic pointing to the rollercoaster ahead of them, she had saved it for the last activity they were going to do together at the amusement park before they headed home.
"Are you sure?" Damon asked with uncertainty, the last time he remembered apart from the red hair all the reincarnated version of Ophelia has a common trait with her, they were scared of heights so why did Amelia suddenly what to go up the rollercoaster.
"Don’t worry I would be fine, you are here with me." Amelia gave Damon a light smile which made him even more uneasy, he did not want anything to happen to Amelia or he won’t forgive himself for it.
"We can just go back it’s no biggie." Damon said trying to persuade her not to do it, "I said I’m fine alright, just let me do it." Amelia pouted not wanting to back down, after a while Damon sighed in surrender, he could not resist how cute she looked right now so it’s best to let her do it, "Fine we would, but don’t ever try something like this without me around okay?" He said ruffling her hair.
"Stop that I’m not a kid." Amelia complained pushing his hand off her.
They went together to the ticket stand and bought tickets before heading towards the gate were people were lined up for the roll coaster.
After a bunch of rides it was finally their turn, Amelia and Dakon headed in and sat down.
Damon made sure to check Amelia’s seat to ensure it was tightly buckled just incase of any incidents.
Slowly the ride started and Amelia closed her eyes in fear starting to regret her decision of wanting to ride the roll coaster, she should have listened to Damon’s persuasions and not do it.
Why in the world was she so stubborn? Amelia wondered her head tightening on the seats with her eyes closed.
Damon noticed this and placed his hands upon her’s, "There is nothing to be afraid of, I’m here with you as you said." Damon tried to calm Amelia down in a soothing voice.
Amelia took in a deep breath hearing his reassurance and slowly opening her eyes to see the breath taking view of the almost setting sun.
By the time they got to the top the view was even clearer and more beautiful but it obstructed when a lip landed on her kissing her ravishingly.
As they descended Damon separated from her a light smile on his lips looking satisfied.
When they got out of the ride Amelia turned to look at Damon with a frown on her face, "what was that for?" She complained referring to the kiss at the top of the ride.
"Is it not human myth that when a couple kiss at the top of a roller coaster ride they are bound to be together forever." Damon explained with a shrug leaving Amelia dumbfounded with guilt eating her up from within.
Why was he trying to make this difficult for her, she thought as tears welled up her eyes.
"Amelia, I love you." Damon looking straight into her eyes, this was the first time he had said that since she confessed to him, currently Amelia was at a loss on what to do as her heart started beating faster than before.
