Chapter 43: Senior Year Management Class

Aren was standing in the principal’s room, facing a sharp-eyed man in his sixties with a neatly trimmed beard and a lively expression.

He was no ordinary man. On the contrary, he had retired after reaching the position of an executive at Titan Crest Entertainment.

He was also someone whom Aren knew from his previous life. Someone who had worked with Aren since the early days of Titan Crest Entertainment.

In those days, this man named Richard Nate was a successful manager of an A-Lister star.

Yet, he had joined Aren just because he wanted to build something from scratch instead of joining an already built agency, and his gamble had turned out to be right.

Titan Crest Entertainment was one of the major agencies in the country now, and even after retirement, Richard could hold the principal position of this prestigious university.

"Nice to meet you, Aren Frost." Walking up to Aren, he greeted him with a firm handshake and a polite smile.

"The pleasure is all mine, sir." Aren greeted back politely.

"Oh, it seems the rumors about you are false." Richard seemed pleasantly surprised. "You’re not rude in the slightest."

Aren scratched the tip of his nose awkwardly. "What have you heard, sir?"

"Oh, nothing serious." Richard waved his hand dismissively. "Just things like you are arrogant and used to bully your group members. You act haughty and look down on others. Even a little discomfort can make you throw a tantrum. Things like that."

"These are just rumors spread by my previous agency to tarnish my reputation," Aren clarified. "You know how the insides of the entertainment industry works and how the public’s opinion is manipulated with just a few lies."

Since Richard had worked for so many years in Titan Crest Entertainment and other agencies, he was well aware of these tactics agencies employed to ruin the reputation of any talent that went against them.

"I suspected that much," Richard replied with a smile. "Now, let’s discuss the matter for which you are here."

Richard clasped his hands behind his back and asked: "You want to attend the senior-year management class as a guest celebrity, right?"

Aren nodded. "Yes, sir."

"Alright. Follow me. Let me take you to your class."

Aren followed Richard out of the office, navigating to the management department building before taking an elevator to the upper floors

They stopped in front of a classroom, a male teacher in the middle of a lecture inside. He stopped when he noticed the principal standing outside the classroom.

"Principal Richard, please come in." He invited with a flattering smile.

Richard walked in, Aren trailing behind. He swept his gaze over the faces of the students in the class and announced:

"Everyone. A guest celebrity will join your class for some time. Some of you might know him; some of you may not. Still, I would like you to take a guess."

He revealed a delighted and proud smile.

"This celebrity is all over social media right now, and he is playing a role in the top-ranked drama."

The students’ eyes visibly widened when they heard him say that, their gazes instantly focusing on Aren, face hidden behind a mask and cap.

However, from his height and frame, anyone could guess who he was.

"Aren Frost??" The teacher was the one to blurt out his name, an expression of excitement hanging on his countenance. Maybe he had been following To Your Heart as well.

The principal nodded, stepping aside to let Aren take the spotlight.

Aren stepped forward, removing his mask and cap unhurriedly, revealing his handsome countenance.

Gasp!

A collective gasp resounded in the classroom as soon as the students laid eyes on Aren’s face.

Most of the students were interested in celebrities and the entertainment industry, which had drawn them to pursue a career in this field.

Moreover, Valcourt University provided scholarships for students to attend, meaning many of the students were from poor backgrounds, making them even more starstruck upon seeing Aren.

Furthermore, even among the guest celebrities who did come to the university, nobody chose the management classes to attend.

They either chose acting or singing as their preferred classes, meeting the students with the same fields of interest.

Most of the celebrity guests in the management classes had been old men like Richard, who retired from managing talents in big agencies.

They were revered and respectful figures, and the students appreciated their presence.

Still, they weren’t a star like Aren who only appeared on the screen, performing a cool character.

This made Aren’s presence even more rare and valuable in the eyes of the majority of students.

On top of that, Aren was the talk of the industry right now, his drama topping the popularity charts. Even his PulseX followers, who were only a few hundred thousand a few months ago, had surpassed a million in number.

Yet, there were a few students who weren’t impressed.

One was Selene Valcourt, youngest daughter of Neil Valcourt, the chairman of Titan Crest Entertainment.

This university literally belonged to her father.

Moreover, there were more renowned celebrities than Aren signed with Titan Crest Entertainment.

From her childhood, she had met every celebrity she wanted to meet.

She even looked down on Aren, who was receiving such a reaction from other students.

Another was Ariana Frost, biological daughter of Neil yet raised by Aren Frost, the CEO of Titan Crest Entertainment. She had also seen all that Selene had seen.

Since they both were of the same age, Ariana and Selene had even been childhood friends.

However, right now they sat far from one another, a sight that struck peculiar to Aren.

There were a few more students who were children of either executives or senior managers of Titan Crest Entertainment, giving them enough exposure to celebrities to not be fawning over Aren.

Some even eyed him with disdain and contempt.

While Aren was settling inside the classroom, some new hashtags related to him and his drama—To Your Heart—had begun trending on PulseX.
