"Blessing of Jambavan activated."

Taranis's crimson eyes swept across the ranks of soldiers surrounding him, and slowly, the corners of his lips began to rise.

His lips parted, and an expression formed on his face. An expression of pure amusement.

"HEHEHEHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!"

His loud, terrifying laugh echoed through the forest as he repeatedly facepalmed himself.

Golden lightning danced around his entire body, and in the next instant, he completely vanished, his movement invisible to the eyes of Knights at the True Sage realm.

Only barely, Rhaegar was the only one who could perceive his movement.

Taranis was charging at him at a terrifying pace.

From his storage ring, Rhaegar began drawing his sword, but he was too late. The tip of Taranis's golden blade had already reached his eyes.

He snapped his head sideways. The blade stabbed into his cheek, tore toward the back, and sliced his ear horizontally into two as Taranis moved past him.

"Hahahaha! You dodged that!" Taranis laughed, reaching behind him. "Good, good, or it would have been no fun."

"Hah... hah... I'm at the sixth level of the Eternal Sage Realm, yet I can barely see his movements," Rhaegar murmured inwardly, breathing heavily, his eyes wide in shock.

While Rhaegar was still momentarily dazed, the elite knights rushed at Taranis in multiple squads of five.

Sparks erupted as Taranis welcomed their blades head-on with his own. Lightning flickered around his body, which moved like a blur, blocking and attacking the knights in a deadly sword dance. One moment he was fighting one group, and the next, another.

All the knights had their Soulforce accumulated in their eyes and arms, enhancing their vision and allowing their hand movements to match Taranis.

Yet, they were falling terribly.

Each of Taranis's attacks was heavy, precise, and deadly. It had only been five seconds, and over dozens of knights had already fallen, their throats pierced, heads severed, or torsos cut in half.

His pale body turned crimson, bathed in the blood of the fallen knights. All the while, he continued laughing and snickering, reveling in the screams of those he slaughtered.

Fear surged through the knights as they witnessed the absolute madness with which Taranis fought. They began losing the strength in their bodies, along with the will to fight.

"H-he is a monster!"

"I-I can't fight something like that!"

"I-I don't want to die..."

Some of the soldiers began retreating, dropping their weapons. However, they could not take another step.

"I absolutely despise traitors," Taranis announced with an amused smirk, beheading those who tried to flee in an instant.

"You demon! Stop this right now!"

A dozen sharp swords laced with blue Sword Aura rained down on Taranis from the sky.

Taranis grabbed his blade at the middle and began swinging it in a circular motion around his body, blocking the incoming swords.

Sparks burst from each clash. Taranis's feet skidded backward, and a few blades slipped past his defense, slicing the left side of his skin.

The swords belonged to Rhaegar, who was controlling them from afar.

The power behind the blades was not at the same level as Rhaegar himself. It felt as if Taranis was fighting twelve different opponents at the Early Stage of the Eternal Sage Realm, along with multiple True Sages.

The might was overwhelming, even for Taranis, yet not in the slightest did he seem worried.

On the contrary, he seemed to be enjoying it completely.

"Hahahaha!!! Just like that!! Fight more desperately," Taranis roared, spreading his arm. The smirk on his face deepened as he continued, his voice turning low.

"So I can destroy you after crushing all of your hopes!!!"

"Do not underestimate me, demon!" Rhaegar shouted.

The Sword Aura around the blades hovering above Taranis's head intensified, becoming twice the size of the swords themselves.

Rhaegar unleashed the swords at Taranis from multiple directions in the sky, while at the same time, the elite knights launched their attacks from the ground.

As the swords closed in, Taranis removed his hand from the hilt of his blade. A cluster of golden lightning gathered around his knuckles as he hurled his fist vertically upward.

"Divine Lightning: Lightning Bolt: Version

Galactic Punch!"

Everything turned blinding white as a volcano of golden lightning erupted from the Jungle of Pines, surging past the tops of the trees and into the sky.

Thunderous roars followed, loud enough to make any normal human faint. Dust and debris flew in every direction, and everything within a hundred-meter radius of Taranis was completely obliterated, leaving only the knights screaming in agony. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

Their bodies were covered in critical burns, lightning flickering across their skin, forcing them to roll on the ground in pain.

"Hahahahahahahaha!!!! This is what I'm talking about!" Taranis laughed like a madman, thoroughly delighted by the destruction he had caused.

"Y-you... Who are you?" Rhaegar demanded, the only one left unscathed after barely escaping the attack's range.

Rhaegar had witnessed Taranis closely when they fought the demons at the Sentinel Line. He knew of his overly kind nature. Yes, he had transformed at the end, but that was due to fury toward the empire and desperation to protect his family.

But now, he was laughing while staring down at knights writhing in pain.

How could he be the same person?

"Who am I?" Taranis murmured, the smile unwavering on his face.

He grabbed the sword from the ground, and the moment he poured his Soulforce into its blade, his feet left the ground, his body rising high into the sky.

The atmosphere shifted. Strong winds swept through the forest, and the air turned suffocatingly thick.

The weather changed. In the once clear blue sky, dark clouds flickering with golden lightning began to gather. Day turned into night as the clouds blocked the sunlight from reaching the earth.

"Hehehehe! You ask such an illogical question, Rhaegar," Taranis said, raising his sword toward the sky.

Golden lightning within the dark clouds gathered above his head, thunder roaring like a natural calamity.

"I am Taranis El Thunderbane. The God of Lightning and Thunder!"

Rhaegar's face twisted in horror, his heart pounding like war drums under the overwhelming presence of Taranis.

His body glowed bright blue as his survival instincts took over. Gathering every last drop of his Soulforce, he materialized a disc of a thousand energy blades behind him.

With a sharp motion of his arm, he launched the swords toward Taranis.

Meanwhile, above Taranis, the clouds had turned radiant gold from the lightning condensed at a single point.

Taranis slowly brought his sword downward and murmured,
