Return of the Immortal Emperor Daddy-Chapter 99: One Angle of the Triangle
Is this for real?
Guli Weileng was skeptical, but she tried swinging her arms anyway. Instantly, she felt as if her fists and palms were gliding through water, a sublime and clear sensation washing over her.
Not only that, but her understanding of Tai Chi seemed to have reached a new level. She even felt that if she were to fight her master now, she could hold her own for a round or two. Her Fist Technique had grown immeasurably stronger.
What about my Footwork?
With that thought, she lashed out with a kick. It seemed to ride the wind itself, carrying incredible power.
Unfortunately, Guli Weileng was wearing a long, white dress today. The force of her kick caught the fabric, sending her skirt fluttering high into the air. Her snow-white thighs were completely exposed to Wu Tian’s gaze, and for a brief moment, so was a glimpse of the even whiter triangle beneath.
"Ah!"
Realizing what had happened, Guli Weileng yelped and quickly yanked her skirt down.
But he had already seen it. It was far too late to lock the barn door.
"You saw it just now, didn’t you? Tell me, did you?"
"I did," Wu Tian nodded.
There was no point in denying it. He was Wu Tian; he always said what he meant and meant what he said.
"You really saw?" Guli Weileng cried out.
"Don’t worry," Wu Tian said.
"Worry about what? You’ve already seen it!" Guli Weileng huffed.
"In my eyes, all sights are merely scenery. None of them are enough to stir my heart," Wu Tian stated calmly.
"Really?" Guli Weileng was still incredulous. Wu Tian simply smiled and nodded again.
"Wait a minute, dude. What you said has another meaning... are you saying my... you know... isn’t good-looking?"
"..."
Wu Tian was exasperated. Is she really fixating on the wrong part of this?
He decided he needed to change the subject. "So, are you satisfied with your current skill level?"
"Well..." Guli Weileng fell for the bait. Focusing on the transformation in her martial arts and the unprecedented comfort flowing through her body, she beamed. "Thank you so much! Maybe you could..."
Wu Tian just smiled.
Should I ask him to hold my hand a little longer? Wouldn’t I become even more powerful?
But as the words were about to leave her lips, she stopped. She realized how that would sound, as if there was something improper going on between them.
Her thoughts quickly shifted back to the main point. Why did I get stronger the moment he held my hand? Puzzled, she asked, "Do you know some kind of magical Martial Skills?"
"Magical Martial Skills?" Wu Tian mused for a moment, then smiled. "Sure, you could think of it that way."
"Really! Can you teach me?" Guli Weileng asked excitedly.
Wu Tian smiled. "For that, you’d have to become my Disciple."
"Why?"
"It’s a rule I’ve set for myself," Wu Tian said.
I can’t just help someone for no reason. I’m no Holy Mother, he thought to himself.
"Hmph." Guli Weileng huffed, but she desperately wanted to learn Wu Tian’s martial arts. The thought of her master, however, made her hesitate.
When she was seven, Guli Weileng had visited Wudang with her parents, where a master had taken her in as a Disciple. She was just a child then and had agreed. Now that she was grown, she couldn’t go back on her word. According to the sect’s rules, the only way to leave was in a casket.
Guli Weileng didn’t want to trouble her parents or elders with this. She was caught in a dilemma.
Wu Tian glanced at her face, pinched his fingers as if making a calculation, and smiled. "You are facing a calamity. Your master will persecute you, and your senior martial brother will plot against you as well."
"Nonsense," Guli Weileng said fiercely.
"Believe it, and it shall be. Disbelieve it, and it shall not," Wu Tian replied calmly.
"Really?" Guli Weileng was still doubtful. And yet, for some reason, she felt a deep sense of familiarity with Wu Tian, as if they had known each other for a long time. If her master truly intended to harm her, she knew she wouldn’t stand a chance against him.
"In that case... could you help me become a little stronger?" she asked.
Wu Tian smiled. It was a trivial matter for him. All he had to do was use his Spiritual Power to unblock Guli Weileng’s meridians—the so-called opening of the eight extraordinary meridians and the governor and conception vessels. In the Immortal Emperor Realm, such a thing wasn’t even necessary. But in this mundane world, it was a shortcut that could allow a Martial Artist to grow stronger at an incredible rate.
"Fine. Give me your hand," Wu Tian said calmly.
Guli Weileng nodded, placing her fair, jade-like hand in Wu Tian’s. As his Spiritual Power began to surge into her,
"Uhn..."
Another blood-stirring moan escaped her lips. Guli Weileng tried to grit her teeth and hold it back, but the sensation was simply too pleasurable. She couldn’t help herself.
Wu Tian realized how inappropriate this was; the sound was straight out of a romance film.
"What... what are you two doing?" Xiao Tianzan exclaimed as he walked out. Seeing the scene and hearing the sound, he was completely astonished.
They say seeing is believing. But in this case? He had both seen it with his own eyes and heard it with his own ears.
"Ah, Uncle Xiao, I..." Guli Weileng quickly withdrew her hand, deeply embarrassed.
Wu Tian, however, remained perfectly composed, not a single ripple of emotion on his face.
Seeing this, Xiao Tianzan’s admiration for Wu Tian grew. He wasn’t just a talented prodigy, but also worldly and experienced. Otherwise, he would never have remained so composed.
Still puzzled, he asked, "What exactly were you two doing?"
"My hand was sore! He... he was just massaging it for me," Guli Weileng said, stamping her foot as her face flushed crimson.
"Is that so? Then why are you blushing?" Xiao Tianzan chuckled.
"Hmph!" Guli Weileng huffed, looking like someone whose secret had just been exposed.
Xiao Tianzan laughed as well, but he knew there wasn’t much time for joking around. He turned to Wu Tian. "The full-body examination will be finished in about three minutes, Mr. Wu Tian. Please get ready."
Wu Tian nodded. He had nothing to prepare, but he glanced at the time. It was already four-thirty in the evening.
Qin Yuhan had to work and was probably too busy to pick up the little one. This prompted Wu Tian to call Lin Mo.
"Mr. Wu Tian?"
"Yes," Wu Tian said. "I’m busy today. Could you please look after the little one for me?"
"Of course," Lin Mo agreed readily.
She enjoyed spending time with the little one. As long as the child didn’t start calling her their "crawling lover" again, everything was perfect.
As Wu Tian hung up, Guli Weileng kept studying him. ’Little one’? Does he have a younger brother? Or a sister? I’ll have to ask him about it later.
For the first time in her life, Guli Weileng felt something special for a man.
Meanwhile, Tellam Kuangte’s full-body checkup had finished. Wu Tian followed Xiao Tianzan and Guli Weileng into the villa.
The moment he saw Wu Tian arrive, the disheartened Xiao Liang immediately perked up. "Mr. Wu Tian, this is wonderful, truly wonderful!" he said with a broad smile. "I’m so glad you’ve finally come. When can you begin her treatment?"
