Chapter 65: Chapter 65: The Four Evil Cauldrons

Wu Tian pointed at the bronze cauldron from afar. At once, with a WHOOSH, the cauldron lifted into the air and floated over to him.

"That’s incredible," Xia Qian’s eyes lit up. Her grandfather, Xiao Liang, had said Wu Tian might be an Innate expert, and now she thoroughly believed it. Xiao Liang, however, was now doubting if Wu Tian was *merely* an Innate expert. Even past masters at that level, like Du Xinwu and Huo Yuanjia, could never have accomplished such a feat.

"Now, watch again." Wu Tian pointed once more, sending a stream of Spiritual Power into the bronze cauldron. Xia Qian and Xiao Liang looked at the ordinary-looking, cobweb-covered cauldron, and their expressions changed dramatically.

"How can this be?" Xiao Liang managed to maintain his composure, but Xia Qian couldn’t help but exclaim in shock.

The bronze cauldron before them was cracking apart. As the outer layer shattered, its true form was revealed from within. The body of the vessel was a magnificent, imposing black, engraved with the Four Great Ferocious Beasts: Chaos, Qiongqi, Taowu, and Taotie. It was truly extraordinary, exuding a powerful and unparalleled aura.

"This cauldron must date back to before the Spring and Autumn Warring States period," Wu Tian mused. "It has been ownerless and unused since the day it was forged. Since it never had a master, there’s no question of it losing its vitality from a master’s death. I am simply restoring it to its original form and allowing it to reappear in the Mortal Realm."

Hearing this, Xiao Liang and Xia Qian were filled with silent awe, marveling at Wu Tian’s superb methods.

The cauldron’s material was not bronze, but Xia Qian couldn’t identify what it was. Even the widely knowledgeable Xiao Liang was at a loss.

"So the bronze was just a shell," Xiao Liang said, taking a deep breath. "But the one who disguised it was incredibly clever. They dressed it in a layer of bronze so seamlessly that no one could see through the facade." He couldn’t see through it, but Wu Tian could. Xiao Liang had to concede defeat. He had always prided himself on his discerning eye, but compared to Wu Tian, he was clearly a step below.

Wu Tian gave the Four Fiends Cauldron another look, growing more pleased the longer he observed it. Although it was a far cry from the Great Black Magic Cauldron he possessed in the Immortal Emperor Realm, finding such a treasure in this mundane world was a rare fortune.

He then turned to Xiao Liang. "I’ll take this cauldron. Name your price."

His three jade stones were still in Xiao Liang’s car. At this moment, he was feeling quite wealthy and confident.

"Since Mr. Wu has taken a liking to it, why talk about money?" Xiao Liang said with a smile. "Besides, as they say, a fine sword is for a hero. To me, this cauldron is merely a collectible. For you, it might be something more."

In Xiao Liang’s eyes, giving away this mysterious cauldron to win over an expert like Wu Tian was a trade that left him the clear winner.

"Grandpa is right," Xia Qian added with a smile. Her smile was exquisitely beautiful, beyond any worldly description. The title of "goddess" was one she truly deserved.

"Alright," Wu Tian nodded. "In the future, I will give you each two Elixirs of Immortality."

Elixirs of Immortality? Xiao Liang and Xia Qian were stunned. Was such a thing really possible? But when they looked into Wu Tian’s eyes, they saw a gaze that transcended the mundane world. It was so clear and pure, as if a divine being had spoken, filling Xiao Liang’s heart with both shock and delight. He started to believe that Elixirs of Immortality might truly exist. To trade a cauldron for a century of life—even if it just meant living to one hundred and forty—was more than worth it. He secretly thought it was a wonderful surprise.

If Wu Tian knew what Xiao Liang was thinking, he would probably cough up blood. My elixirs can only let someone live to one hundred and forty? This Emperor might as well just go and bash his head against a wall.

"Mr. Wu, is there anything else you need?" Xiao Liang asked immediately.

"Medicinal herbs," Wu Tian said slowly after a moment of thought.

"That’s easily arranged," Xiao Liang replied at once. "Just tell me or Xia Qian what you need. With our resources, it shouldn’t be difficult to procure them."

"Grandpa’s right," Xia Qian said with a smile. "I can set up a pharmaceutical company and offer high prices to acquire them. I’m confident we can get whatever medicinal herbs you need."

Wu Tian thought for a moment before listing the various herbs he required. Xiao Liang and Xia Qian had never even heard of some of them, but Xia Qian carefully committed them to memory. "I will do my best," she promised Wu Tian.

Wu Tian nodded. He could see the sincerity in her eyes, which prompted him to reach out and gently tap her on the head. "If you run into any trouble in the future, you can also come to me."

Acquiring those medicinal herbs would not be easy. The difficulty and effort involved were beyond what an ordinary person could imagine. Xia Qian understood that some of them would require substantial funds, but she agreed without hesitation.

In Wu Tian’s eyes, a person like her was someone he could consider a friend. And Wu Tian was a man who always repaid his debts, whether of gratitude or vengeance. This wasn’t just a matter of personality; it was also a matter of Cultivation. When one’s life is free of debts, one’s heart is open and unburdened. With an unburdened heart, Cultivation is twice as effective with half the effort. As the saying goes: if you take your heart as your teacher, you will surely become a master of your heart.

"Thank you." Xia Qian was a career-driven woman who often worked late, and her health was not what it used to be back in her school days. Wu Tian’s touch made her feel refreshed and clear-headed, prompting her to voice her gratitude.

Xiao Liang looked at Wu Tian, then at his granddaughter, a thoughtful expression on his face. He was clearly entertaining other ideas.

In the end, it was Xia Qian who drove Wu Tian home in her Buick.

After Wu Tian got out of the car, he pointed a finger, and the three jade stones and the Four Fiends Cauldron vanished into his Nine Dragon Ring. The Nine Dragon Ring contained countless eggs of Divine Beasts and Ferocious Beasts, and it also doubled as a Storage Ring. It was incredibly convenient.

Seeing this, Xia Qian’s beautiful eyes went wide as she stood there, utterly stunned. A beauty in such a state had a charm all her own.

"Still in a daze, you silly girl?" Wu Tian’s clear voice brought Xia Qian back to her senses. "Don’t just stand there. Hurry back, and be careful on the road."

She nodded, but the phrase "silly girl" sent a blush creeping up her cheeks. No man had ever called her that before. She knew he had just said it casually, but for some reason, her heart couldn’t help but feel a little shy.

As Xia Qian drove away, Wu Tian walked toward his front door, only to find it locked tight. That wasn’t all—a piece of paper was pasted on it that read: "No dogs or Wu Tian allowed."

"..."

Wu Tian was exasperated. He knew this had to be Qin Yuhan’s handiwork, but what was wrong with her? Why the sudden anger? As far as he could tell, they had been getting along quite peacefully these past few days.

Ah, a woman’s heart is a needle at the bottom of the sea. Truly impossible to fathom.

Wu Tian shook his head, glanced around to make sure no one was watching, and then leaped up, slipping through the window into his room.

The room was empty except for a Little Kirin that was sleeping like a log. Murong Yezi, Qin Yuhan, and the little fella must all be asleep. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

"These three jade stones are excellent. They’ll be perfect for cultivation," Wu Tian murmured with a small smile, taking out the stones and placing them on his bed.

He had no intention of exchanging the jade for money. To the current Wu Tian, money was a worldly possession of little importance. My wife has plenty of money, so why would I need to earn more? High-quality jade stones were what he truly desired.

His current Realm was the mid-stage of Foundation Establishment, but his physical body was still that of an Immortal Emperor, making it invincibly tough. The people around him, however, were not so fortunate. These three jade stones could be used for his own Cultivation, or they could be used to craft some life-saving Magical Treasures for them.

So, should I use them for Cultivation? Or to craft life-saving Magical Treasures?

As Wu Tian pondered this, he noticed that one of the three jade stones was already gone.
