Chapter 56: 56 Chapter Monster

"Attack! First, gouge out his eyes!" In the valley, Nalan Feng screamed at the security guards, his face twisted with madness.

Being beaten in front of so many people was an utter humiliation Nalan Feng could not endure. He could already imagine the news spreading throughout Yang City by morning. How could he possibly save face?

Thinking of this, Nalan Feng’s gaze toward Wu Tian filled with venom. He was going to teach Wu Tian a lesson—that some people could not be offended. He would make him understand his place.

As Nalan Feng’s fury intensified, the security guards could only sigh and advance toward Wu Tian. Their eyes were full of reluctance, but they knew that if they disobeyed, they would likely forfeit their own lives. With that in mind, the guards had no choice but to attack.

"Can this group of security guards even defeat that Wu Tian?" Lin Tianlong asked from the sidelines.

Nangong Yi studied the guards and chuckled. "Individually, of course not. But with all of them attacking at once, two fists are no match for four hands. This Wu Tian is doomed tonight."

"A poor man daring to enter our circle is truly asking for death."

"The poor are not of our world. Forcibly entering it is a sure path to disaster."

"Exactly. How can a snake crawl before a dragon?"

The wealthy lords and ladies chimed in with incredibly cruel remarks.

"Shut up," Wu Tian said, his head turning toward them.

His eyes were bone-chillingly cold, making the rich spectators tremble. Under his gaze, they felt as insignificant as ants.

A faint smile touched Wu Tian’s lips. His Spiritual Power had already flowed from his eyes into their bodies. For the next few days, they would be plagued with relentless misfortune. Choking on water would be the least of their worries.

"What are you waiting for? Get him! Cripple him!" At Nalan Feng’s roar, the group of security guards finally swarmed forward, lunging at Wu Tian.

One young guard was the fastest, swinging an electric baton at Wu Tian, its tip crackling. He intended to stun him before gouging out his eyes.

"Though you are being forced, you have still offended me," Wu Tian said, shaking his head but remaining perfectly still.

Seeing Wu Tian make no move to dodge, Lin Fa’s expression changed drastically. "Boss, look out!" he yelled.

Lin Fa tried to rush forward and help, but he was too slow. The electric baton sizzled as it swung toward Wu Tian. A direct hit would mean paralysis at best; at worst, serious injury.

At this sight, a cruel smile spread across Nalan Feng’s lips, as if he could already see the tragic scene of the guards subduing Wu Tian, leaving him completely at his mercy.

Finally, the electric baton made contact. But in that instant, everyone’s brows furrowed in confusion. Although Wu Tian had been struck, he seemed completely unaffected, still standing there silently.

"How is that possible?"

"The baton must have malfunctioned."

That was what Nangong Yi and the others assumed.

The guard who had struck him, however, turned pale. He knew his electric baton was working perfectly. So how was Wu Tian completely unharmed? The guard had no idea, but that didn’t stop the fear from blooming in his heart.

Just then, Wu Tian twisted his body, extended a hand, and with a flick of his wrist, turned the electric baton back on its wielder.

"AARGH!"

The guard was struck by his own weapon. He screamed once before collapsing to the ground, unconscious.

The scene stunned everyone. Nalan Feng, not expecting Wu Tian to be so skilled, grew even angrier and bellowed, "Get him! All of you, at once! Don’t go one by one, attack together! Did you hear me, you idiots?"

His words snapped the guards out of their shock and fear. They once again charged Wu Tian together, their electric batons buzzing.

However, just as they neared him, Wu Tian’s figure finally moved. He vanished in a flash, and then Nalan Feng and the others witnessed something they had never seen before in their lives.

"AARGH!"

A guard was sent flying ten meters by a single kick. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

Next, Wu Tian threw a punch. It looked ordinary, but it sent three men staggering backward, completely unable to stop their momentum.

At that moment, Wu Tian was a tiger among sheep, and the flock was helpless before him.

"AARGH!"

"AARGH!"

"AARGH!"

A chorus of agonizing screams filled the air as the stench of blood began to spread.

Nalan Feng and the others were utterly dumbfounded. This was especially true for Nangong Yi, the King of Soldiers. He was familiar with the urban Martial Path and had even seen Africa’s top expert, but he felt that even that expert was not as terrifying as Wu Tian was now. A chill shot straight up his spine. Nangong Yi knew Wu Tian was a skilled fighter; he’d been beaten by him before. But as the saying goes, the participant is lost while the onlooker sees clearly. Now, watching from the sidelines, he was simply stupefied.

"His skill... is it really that impressive?" Lin Tianlong asked Nangong Yi.

"No," Nangong Yi said gravely. "This isn’t just impressive. It’s terrifying."

He knew that in a head-on fight, he was no match for Wu Tian. His only advantage over Wu Tian was in the world of business collaborations.

The thought of his partnership with Xia Qian and her multinational corporation brought Nangong Yi a sliver of comfort.

Wu Tian, oh, Wu Tian. You are very powerful. But when it comes to business, only I can help Qin Yuhan. Without me, how could she possibly partner with a foreign multinational group?

"You... you..." Nalan Feng stared, his eyes wide with disbelief at the scene before him. His security guards are all police academy graduates. All one hundred and eight of them attacked together, yet Wu Tian subdued them with ease?

"AARGH!"

With one final scream, not a single guard was left standing before Wu Tian. They were all lying on the ground; some were unconscious, others were coughing up blood, and a few were desperately trying to crawl away. Wu Tian’s might was enough to make anyone’s courage fail.

Lin Fa was also stunned. He never imagined his boss was so formidable that one hundred and eight men attacking at once couldn’t defeat him alone. More than that, Wu Tian’s movements had been so effortless and relaxed, as if he wasn’t even using his full strength.

Boss, you’re incredible! Boss, I worship you! Lin Fa’s heart pounded with excitement.

The other wealthy elites—the lords, ladies, young masters, and young misses—were equally dumbstruck, their mouths hanging open wide enough to fit a watermelon.

Wu Tian ignored the onlookers’ stares, his sharp gaze fixed on Nalan Feng.

An Immortal Emperor is not to be so easily offended. Otherwise, a price must be paid in blood.

CLACK. CLACK. CLACK.

Wu Tian started walking toward Nalan Feng. With every step, Nalan Feng’s heart trembled violently.

A monster... He has to be a monster... Nalan Feng’s body shook uncontrollably.

Wu Tian finally closed the distance until only three or four meters separated them.

At that moment, a thought struck Nalan Feng, and he frantically pulled an object from his pocket. On closer inspection, it was a Desert Eagle handgun.

As Nalan Feng prepared to fire, Xiao Liang, Xia Qian, and Nalan Jie finally arrived on the scene. Seeing the situation, Xiao Liang immediately roared, "Stop right there!"
