Chapter 108: Chapter 108 Seven Saints of Dragon Country

After eating her fill, the little one lay contentedly on the chair and patted her small belly. "I am so satisfied," she announced with a grand air.

"You should take a walk after eating, or you’ll get fat," Wu Tian suggested.

Qin Yuhan nodded and pulled the little one up to go for a walk.

The villa Feng Jingyao had chosen back in the day was in a great location. A park had since been built nearby, and they strolled through it leisurely, enjoying the birdsong, fragrant flowers, and fresh air.

After walking for a while, the little one suddenly said, "Crawl crawl, let’s go find the thing I want."

"What about Mom?" Wu Tian asked.

The little one thought for a bit before answering, "Whenever Mom goes out, she usually shops. She might see a handbag store later. Once she’s in a handbag store, she can stay for an entire afternoon. It’s not something an ordinary person can do. It’s really scary."

Scary? You’ll be just like this when you grow up. Wu Tian wanted to say, but he couldn’t bring himself to do it.

Indeed, everything went just as the little one had guessed. This time, however, Qin Yuhan wasn’t interested in handbags, but a lingerie store.

"You two go ahead and look around. Don’t disturb me," Qin Yuhan said with a smile. She didn’t want Wu Tian to go into the lingerie store, and she wanted the little one to go in even less.

In some ways, the little one is even scarier than Wu Tian, Qin Yuhan thought. If she goes in, she’ll come out and describe everything to him. How mortifying would that be?

And so, Wu Tian and the little one ended up strolling around by themselves.

"I can’t believe you saw all this coming," Wu Tian praised her.

"That’s called ’know yourself and know your enemy, and you will never be defeated,’" the little one declaimed, her hands clasped behind her back. Despite her small stature, she strutted before Wu Tian with the air of a tiny commander.

Wu Tian found it highly amusing.

He followed the little one until they finally arrived at their destination. This city was called the Magic City because it possessed a bewitching quality that other cities lacked.

Eventually, they came to the Divine Dragon Temple.

A sea of people was gathered in front of the Divine Dragon Temple. It was clearly a very efficacious temple.

"Crawl crawl, the thing is in the back. How do we get there?" the little one asked, her finger in her mouth and a distressed look on her face.

Wu Tian chuckled, picked her up with one hand, pushed off with his foot, and in an instant, he was soaring through the air like a bird.

"What’s that?"

"An Immortal?"

"Is it a dragon?"

"That’s right! The rumors say the Divine Dragon Temple has a dragon."

Carrying the little one, Wu Tian turned into a streak of white light and vanished from sight. The people who witnessed this stood dumbfounded. After a moment of dead silence, a buzz of discussion erupted. As for Wu Tian, flying high above, his Spiritual Power could only sustain flight for about ten meters. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

But for the little one, this was magical. Her eyes widened, reflecting not surprise, but pure delight.

Following the little one’s directions, they arrived at a river behind the Divine Dragon Temple. The temple was originally named Longhua Temple. It was renamed because when fog rolled in, the mist rising above the temple looked like a dragon.

The river within the Divine Dragon Temple was known as the Yin Yang River. It was rumored to trap evil spirits, and at night, it was shrouded in an eerie gloom.

"It’s right in the center of the river, Crawl crawl. How are we supposed to get across?"

Wu Tian laughed. "That’s easy."

He carried the little one and simply took a step forward. Under the little one’s adoring gaze, Wu Tian began to walk slowly across the surface of the river.

Next to the Yin Yang River stood a tower, inhabited by an old monk. He was Mage Tianshan, ranked fifth among the Seven Saints of Dragon Country.

He was one of the few Innate Grandmasters in Dragon Country. Yet, he did not stay at Shaolin. Instead, he traveled far and wide, seeking alms with the purpose of finding a path to transcend the Innate realm.

A year ago, he had happened to pass by the Divine Dragon Temple. Upon seeing the dragon formed by the mist above it, he felt that his opportunity lay within, and so he had settled down there. But no matter how much he searched, he couldn’t find what he was after.

Today, his eyes widened in shock as he saw a man walking on the surface of the river.

Is this from his Cultivation? No, that can’t be it. Mage Tianshan thought carefully. He suspected it had something to do with Wu Tian’s shoes. As eras changed, martial arts had declined while technology, in contrast, had grown ever more sophisticated. He didn’t find it hard to believe that such shoes could exist.

But what concerned him most was *why* a man and a child were walking on the river’s surface.

Mage Tianshan held his breath, staring intently at the scene, not daring to let his focus waver for even a moment.

Upon the river’s surface, every step Wu Tian took created a faint ripple. To delight the little one, each ripple bloomed into the shape of a lotus—a truly wondrous sight. A lotus bloomed with every step; it was a true scene of lotuses springing forth from his stride.

"Crawl crawl, it’s right below!" the little one cried out again, causing Wu Tian’s eyes to light up.

Below?

Wu Tian reached out, his five fingers forming a claw. With a pull, he drew an object the size of a pebble from the river, and it landed in the palm of his hand.

It was a piece of crystal-clear amber with a flower suspended inside. The flower’s petals looked as if they were made of pure gold. Holding the object, Wu Tian could feel an indescribable power emanating from within it.

"Crawl crawl, this is the flower from here! Gugu likes it so much," the little one called out.

Wu Tian nodded and asked, "Do you know what this flower is?"

"Nope! Then, Crawl crawl, what kind of flower is this?" the little one asked, shaking her head.

Wu Tian smiled; he couldn’t guess what kind of flower it was either.

"That is the Golden Poluo Flower!" Inside the tower, Mage Tianshan’s entire body trembled with excitement as he saw the flower in the amber Wu Tian was holding. He believed that if he possessed that flower, he could become a Saint to all Buddhist Sects. Unable to wait, he leaped down from the third story of the tower, calling out loudly to Wu Tian and the little one.

"The Golden Poluo Flower?" Wu Tian seemed to recall something. "The Poluo Flower is the legendary supreme flower of the Immortal Realm, esteemed in the Buddhist Sect because its color is ’purely bright without vulgar flamboyance.’ Its flower shape is full and round, like the full moon. From afar, the white blossoms appear to roll like thousands of layers, enveloped by an aura of auspiciousness. The Buddhist Sect has a saying, ’The occurrence of the Udumbara Flower is a sign of spiritual rarity, appearing only once every three thousand years.’"

"Wrong, wrong." Mage Tianshan shook his head, formed a prayer gesture, and said, "Amitabha. This is the Golden Poluo Flower, superior to the common Poluo Flower. According to legend, when Buddha smiled while holding a flower, the one in his hands was the Golden Poluo Flower."

"I see." Holding the little one, Wu Tian had already reached the shore. He looked at her and said, "This flower is for you to play with."

"Yay!" she chirped adorably.

"You can’t!" Mage Tianshan exclaimed, suddenly growing anxious.

"And why not?" Wu Tian asked Mage Tianshan with an amused smile. "This item was unclaimed. My daughter found it, so naturally, it’s hers."
