Return of the Immortal Emperor Daddy-Chapter 101: Mysterious Origins
Everyone was stunned, watching Wu Tian perform acupuncture with the technique of a dart-thrower. Would Tellam even survive this? How could he possibly control the depth of the needles with such a method?
But before anyone could react, the long needle had already pierced the flesh over Tellam’s heart.
"AHH!" Tellam cried out in pain.
Everyone was dumbfounded.
"You’re committing murder!" a physician cried out.
"That’s right, stop immediately!"
"You’re a disgrace to the medical profession!"
The physicians rushed toward Wu Tian.
"Don’t disturb me," Wu Tian said, annoyed. He waved his sleeve, and a violent wind suddenly whipped up.
"AHH!"
The physicians were instantly swept up as if caught in a tornado and sent sprawling, landing flat on their faces. Only then did it quiet down.
Wu Tian smiled. He had determined the severity of her condition from the volume of her scream, using it to judge the force he needed to apply. Standing two meters away from Tellam, Wu Tian thrust his right palm forward. Instantly, threads of Spiritual Power flowed along the long needle and into Tellam’s body. He was repairing Tellam’s heart.
Tellam felt a cool sensation blossoming in her chest. Then, she felt her entire body relax, a stark contrast to its previous heaviness. Her heart had felt powerless before, but now it was different. She could clearly feel it gradually regaining its vitality and strength.
Tellam’s pale complexion finally began to regain its healthy, rosy color.
Seeing this, Xiao Liang was overjoyed. He felt that making Wu Tian’s acquaintance was the luckiest day of his life.
Wu Tian then extended his hand, formed his fingers into a claw, and with a slight pull, the long needle lodged over Tellam’s heart was drawn back to him through the air. This move was truly dazzling, astonishing the crowd and causing Guli Weileng to look on with shining eyes.
Wu Tian, however, remained calm. "It’s done," he said.
"Just like that?" The treatment had only lasted a moment.
Tellam sat up in bed and took a few deep breaths. Her breathing was incredibly smooth, as if she had returned to her youth.
Wu Tian smiled. "Remember, you must not overwork yourself in the future, or your heart will fail again."
Tellam nodded.
Xiao Liang, concerned for Tellam, asked Wu Tian worriedly, "Does she need to take any medicine?"
"No need," Wu Tian replied, shaking his head.
"Then, are there any foods she must avoid?" Xiao Liang asked again. The current Xiao Liang had lost his usual composure, but it couldn’t be helped. This was love.
Wu Tian could understand him. He smiled and shook his head again. "There’s no need to avoid anything. As long as she doesn’t work herself to death, she’ll be perfectly fine."
Xiao Liang laughed heartily.
Meanwhile, Tellam got down from the bed and began to jump up and down vigorously. The physicians watched cautiously, but to their amazement, Tellam jumped for half an hour without any issue. In the past, a single jump would have made Tellam turn pale. After three or four, she would be standing still in pain, clutching her chest. But now? She was completely unharmed.
The physicians from Europe were flabbergasted.
The lead physician sighed, walked up to Wu Tian, and said shamefully, "I was wrong."
"Yes, I was wrong," a second physician stepped forward to apologize.
"We were blind to your talent."
"Your Medical Technique is truly brilliant."
"I was foolish just now. I’m sorry."
"Please, forgive my earlier ignorance."
One by one, the physicians all expressed their shame and apologized to Wu Tian.
Wu Tian shrugged. "Save the nonsense." He then looked at Xiao Liang and said, "It’s getting late. I should be going."
"No," Xiao Liang said, "please stay and have dinner with us."
"Yes," Tellam added, looking at Wu Tian gratefully. "We can discuss the matter of our cooperation."
"No need," Wu Tian said, knowing what she meant. "I don’t resort to such tactics."
Tellam nodded, understanding.
Wu Tian glanced at the sky, thought of the little guy, and knew it was time to leave. Since Wu Tian insisted, Xiao Liang and Tellam felt it would be improper to stop him further, so they let him go.
Tellam suddenly turned to Guli Weileng. "Weileng, do you have plans for later?"
Guli Weileng was taken aback. "No, what’s up?"
Tellam glanced at Wu Tian, then said, "If you’re free, then take Wu Tian home. Young people have more to talk about with each other."
"Grandma..." Guli Weileng was stunned, but she understood Tellam’s intention, and her cheeks flushed. Under everyone’s gaze, she did not refuse.
This surprised Xiao Tianzan even more, as Guli Weileng was famously known as an ice beauty. She was a celebrity who spoke more on camera, but otherwise, she would ignore people and focus only on eating. She was a true foodie.
Wu Tian, having low emotional intelligence, didn’t think much of Tellam’s gesture. He simply took it as a courtesy for a guest. He just nodded and said, "Okay."
After Wu Tian and Guli Weileng had left, the villa fell silent.
After a while, Xiao Liang finally forced a smile. "Tellam, you have to understand, my granddaughter has also taken a liking to him."
"What?" Tellam was shocked. "How can that be?"
Xiao Tianzan, listening on the side, was also surprised. His niece had also fallen for Wu Tian?
Xiao Tianzan thought it over. "This is not good, not good at all."
"What’s not good about it?" Xiao Liang glanced at his son. "Speak up. If you don’t give me a good reason, I’ll beat you today." 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
Xiao Tianzan was speechless. It had been a long while since his father had spoken to him this way. He smiled wryly but still said, "Weileng’s parents and Xia Qian’s parents would never agree unless Wu Tian is willing to show them what he can do. But I believe you’ve all seen that his abilities aren’t for showing off."
"Are you saying that Xia Qian’s and Weileng’s happiness must depend on a political or family alliance?" Xiao Liang said coldly, then shook his head. "I won’t allow them to do that. When you two went into politics and business, I never interfered. Therefore, I hope you won’t interfere in the children’s affairs either."
"Well said," Tellam agreed with Xiao Liang. Suddenly, a thought occurred to her, and her expression grew complex. "Besides, don’t you think Wu Tian’s appearance seems related to the people of *that* clan?"
"Which clan?" Xiao Liang and Xiao Tianzan asked in unison.
Tellam just chuckled. "It’s related to the history of Dragon Country. Even a foreigner like me can see it, but you two can’t? It seems you haven’t been keeping up with your reading, have you?"
Xiao Liang and Xiao Tianzan were left embarrassed.
Tellam had the physicians dismissed. Xiao Liang knew she was a cautious person. It seemed she was about to say something very important. "Tellam, stop beating around the bush and just tell us," he urged.
