Chapter 71: Chapter 71: A NEW DAWN

"What do you mean she’s not dead? I felt her heart stop beating." Hunter asked Ariana.

"It’s beating but it’s very weak, it seems like she still wants to live." Ariana said and stood up.

"With what you did to my daughter, I will never forgive you. If ever you come near me again, I will not hesitate in ending your life." Ariana spoke.

"Let’s go!" Adrian said his hand around her waist, Ariana nodded, and they left.

"We should go as well." Samantha replied.

They arrived at home; they were tired and wounded. Their healing ability was slow, so at the moment they had to endure the pains.

Ariana looked at all of them and told to stand and they should all hold hands.

"This is the power my wolf left to me when she died. It was dormant, but when Sophia was in danger, it was awakened when I thought I lost her." She said when all of them held hands and she transferred energy to them, to increase the healing ability.

"Mommy!" Sophia came running.

Ariana knelt down and embraced her daughter, when they broke out of the hug, Sophia lifted her hands for Adrian to pick her up.

"We all alive, we should celebrate this day." Audrey replied and they did a group hug.

Amelia looked at her family with a smile on her face. This time she was happy that she did not lose anyone.

"It’s alright, everyone is fine." Logan said wrapping his arms around her waist and his chin on her shoulder.

Amelia nodded and he kissed her forehead.

Somewhere deep the lab, the man smashed everything.

"How could we be defeated?" He shouted in anger.

The plan that he had been working on for so long just crushed like that. He had thought that this time he would be able to achieve something that his ancestors couldn’t. He thought that he could have ended the supernatural beings today.

"Sir, we would have won." His subordinate said.

"Meaning we were actually winning?" He asked calming down.

"Yes sir, it was the formation that changed the game." His subordinate spoke.

"Formation?" He asked puzzled.

"This formation, they joined their powers, and it was powerful because of that." The subordinate said showing him the formation.

"We need to find something that will break this formation." He said and had a evil smile on his face.

Hunter carried Ava back to the pack hospital. After two hours the doctor came out of the operation room.

"How is she?" Hunter asked when the doctor came out.

"She is strong, her heart stopped beating a few times, but she fought hard to stay alive. Given the circumstances I don’t think she will be able to get pregnant again." The doctor spoke.

"She is a bit weak right now, she is going to be taken to the room for recovery so if you see her, keep in mind not to stress her." The doctor added and left.

"Okay, thank you for everything." Hunter said shaking his hand.

Hunter watched the nurses wheel her out of the theater on the bed. He could see her pale face. This was the woman he fell in love with years back, she didn’t even think of her life when she pushed him and got stabbed in his place.

Casey was at home with her heart in her throat, she was anxious to see Bradley. She placed her hand om her stomach and tried to comfort.

Bradley walked into the room and her eyes looked up and met with his own, she rushed to her feet and ran into his arms.

"You’re, okay?" She said her hands holding his face.

Bradley nodded and hugged her, burying his head in her neck, breathing in her scent. His arms wrapped around her waist and pulled her closer. He pulled out of the hug and leaned in; his lips met hers and she opened her mouth giving him access.

Aaron embraced his mother in a hug.

"I’m okay!" She said showing him.

Everyone gathered in the living room, everyone was in pairs.

"I am thankful that we all came back alive." Amelia spoke.

"It must have been hard for you." Audrey spoke looking at her.

This was a second war Amelia was involved in. The first one she ended up as an orphan, so this war she didn’t want to lose any of her family members.

"Giving her some energy was great of you." Audrey said looking at Ariana.

"Yeah, I thought you would have left her to die." Rosemary added.

"I would have, but I remembered she has a small child. The child is innocent, and she would need her mother at that young age." Ariana replied.

"Although she is a good person, she knew she was in the wrong when she saw her life flash by. She is a good mother; despite her bitter heart she loved her daughter a lot." Amelia spoke.

"It’s just sad that the man she gave her heart to is Hunter." Ariana said. freewёbnoνel-com

Hunter was a person that only saw the importance of the person when they were no longer around.

"He only saw my importance after I left the pack and only saw Ava’s importance when she was almost dying." Ariana said shaking her head.

"It’s good though, I would never have met you guys if all that didn’t happen." Ariana spoke.

"You guys gave me a new life, never judged me for my past. I am grateful to have you guys." Ariana added.

"We are glad you’re with us." Travis said with a smile.

Dylan stood up and took Sophia with him. They walked outside where he asked her what she wanted to play. She said she wanted to catch him, and Dylan started running, but would turn to look at her once in a while.

Ava in the hospital and the first thing she asked was her daughter.

"Ava, calm down I’ll bring her to see you a bit later." Hunter said asking her to lay back down.

"Why did you do that?" Hunter asked her, he was referring to her saving him.

"You’re my mate, even if you have forgotten about that." Was all she replied.

"I treated you so badly!" He said looking down on the floor.

"I’m glad you know about that part. When you came to me wanting mw to be your mate, you said that you didn’t find your mate and you wanted me to yours, I was hurt when you forgot all about that and made it my fault that Ariana left." Ava said looking to the side.

"I thought at least if I was dead, you would have been free, but I just can’t leave my daughter alone in this world. You have never spent any time with her, and our parents are not qualified to raise a child, look with how they raised us. I ended up hating my only sister because of the environment." Ava said looking at the ceiling.

"Even if I wanted to reconcile with her, it is already too late. I was so obsessed with becoming the Luna for the pack that I forgot of everything. We can break the bond as you want, after getting a second chance at life, I don’t want to live in misery, I will take care of my daughter on my own, you don’t have to worry about anything." Ava said and Hunter looked at her in shock.

This was the first time that she initiated wanting to break the bond.

"Ava, I’m sorry for how I treated you back then, I thought that Ariana would one day come back, and she wouldn’t want to see us entangled." Hunter spoke.

"I don’t want to break the bond with you, I will treat you well after this." He spoke.

The sun rose showing a new dawn. This was the day they all begin their new lives.

Back in the room Josh climbed on top of Olivia. His lips came to her neck, where he started nibbling making hickeys.

"Josh!" She moaned out his name when he brushed his lips against her ear.

"Where is Josh and Olivia?" Ariana asked.

Most of the couples had gone back to their room, as to what they were doing it was what people could guess.

"Ariana stop asking where other are." Adrian came from behind.

Ariana’s phone rang, she took it out of her pocket and saw it was Casey calling. Adrian nodded and left her giving her privacy.

"Casey!" Ariana said answering the phone.

"Ariana, are you okay?" Casey asked.

"I am fine, how are you doing?" Ariana asked.

"I’m fine now. I heard about what you did with Ava, it was great to of you to do that." Casey said.

"I only thought of her child, if she didn’t have a child, I would not have gotten involved." Ariana replied.

It was no lie that there was bad blood between the two sisters.
