Ariana returned to the pack house and found Adrian outside.

"You’re done catching up?" He asked her when he saw her.

"No, someone just had to appear and made my mood bad." She said joining him.

In the mall Rosemary and Olivia picked outfits for Sophia one after the other.

"Aunt Rose, which heel do you think will suit this dress?" Isabelle asked Rosemary holding the dress up.

Rosemary looked at the dress and the rack of shoes, she was lost in her thought at which heel would suit the dress. The dress was an aqua blue, she looked and saw these white heels that had straps on them.

"Grab those heels and go into the changing room, come and show me." She instructed and immediately Isabelle went into the change room.

"Do you see how those blood suckers are shopping as if this is their mall?" Isabelle heard a voice from the room next door.

"Who even invited them here?" Another voice asked.

"They always act as if they are stronger than everyone else. We don’t need their help; we could have defended the pack by ourselves." Another voice chipped in.

"They are just using this war to look down on us. What else do they have if not for their powers?" The voice said.

"I heard that one of them was a member of this pack." Isabelle immediately knew they who they were talking about.

"It’s disgusting how she went and became one of them." Another one said, her expression was of someone who was disgusted by something.

"What did you just say?" Isabelle asked coming of her own and went to open theirs.

"Oh look, it’s one of them." The other one said looking up and down at Isabelle.

"I asked you, what the hell are talking about?" Isabelle asked with anger.

"What will you do? She was a pathetic wolf, and now she is just a pathetic blood sucker." The girl said in mockery and started to push Isabelle with her finger.

"Watch it!" Isabelle hissed.

The three girls looked at Isabelle and started laughing.

"What will a small kid like you do?" They asked squatting down.

"Don’t talk about my aunt like that." Sophia said trying to push them.

"What...will...you...do?" The girl said pushing Isabelle at each word she spoke.

"I will..." Isabelle said and kicked the woman in the stomach.

"That bastard!" She cursed out groaning in pain.

The other two made attempts to grab her, Isabelle dodged their arms and tried to run away.

"You may be strong, but you are still small." The lady said and raised her hand to slop her.

"Auntie!" Isabelle cried out.

Rosemary appeared and grabbed the woman’s hand before the slap landed.

"Who do you think you are?" Rosemary asked twisting the woman’s hand.

The woman struggled to get her hand out, she cried out in pain as she felt her bone almost breaking.

"Leave her!" The two women tried to and help their friend out.

"What’s going here?" Austin’s voice came from behind.

"They tried to hit her." Rosemary said pointing at Isabelle.

Austin turned to Isabelle, and she nodded.

"They were talking nonsense about Auntie Ari." She spoke.

"What did they say?" Josh asked appearing from behind.

"What is the lie in what we said? She was pathetic, is pathetic, and will always be pathetic." The girl repeated the words again with arrogance.

Austin and Josh looked at them, they were from this pack. It made a lot of sense giving their lack of manners.

"So, what is we are blood suckers at least we don’t smell like dogs." Olivia insulted.

"You..." The lady pointed her finger at Olivia.

"Put your hand down." Olivia warned.

"We don’t need you guys and that betrayer." One of the ladies said."

"I think we all know who the betrayer is." Olivia spoke up.

The three ladies just stared her as if she was an idiot. Olivia looked at them as well and read their minds. They had joined the pack last year, when they found their mates in this pack.

One of the ladies stepped up in front of Olivia and pushed her.

"You should go back to where you came from. We don’t need or want you guys here." She spoke.

Olivia wanted to hit the girl back, but before she could land a hit, Josh grabbed her.

"Someone like her doesn’t deserve it." He said stopping in her track.

"Yeah, after all we have powers, and they don’t." Rosemary said smirking.

"Oh yes, you have to use your powers on them. You can see them as your practice." Olivia said taking a step back.

"I was worried I won’t have anyone to test it upon." Rosemary said and stepped forward.

The three ladies heard the conversation and thought they were just joking; they were in the mall, so they believe that Olivia and Rosemary were bluffing.

"Don’t worry it will be quick." Rosemary said to the lady .

The woman looked at Rosemary like she was crazy. Soon she felt like she was burning, she let out a scream and fell to the floor.

"What’s wrong?" The other two ladies stepped in front worried abou their friend.

"Make it stop!" She cried out in pain.

"I’m burning, I’m burning!" She kept crying out.

"I have dealt with you guys yet." Rosemary said turning to the other two.

They looked at their friend on the floor and looked at Rosemary and took steps back in fear.

"I’m sorry... I’m sorry!" They stuttered taking steps backwards.

They were starting to regret their choice already, all the people in the store turned to look at them. Their friend was still on the floor trying to put out the fire that was not there.

"I’m sorryy... please make it stop." She cried out in pain looking at Rosemary.

"I’m not the one you offended." Rosemary said her head facing forwards.

"I’m sorry!" She said turning to Isabelle.

"It’s okay, but don’t ever talk about my auntie like that." Isabelle spoke.

"We won’t, we promise we won’t ever speak about her." They said shaking in fear.

Rosemary was satisfied and nodded, she released the girl, and she was quick to jump on her feet. They helped their friend; they bowed in fear and ran out.

"That felt good!" Rosemary spoke stretching her body.

"I want mommy!" Sophia turned to Dylan.

She had not seen her mother for the whole day, now she all she wanted was her mother.

"We are going now." Dylan replied.

"Guys, Sophia wants Ariana, so are you guys ready to go?" He asked.

"Yeah, I think we have enough." Rosemary said looking at all the bags on the floor.

"Boys come one!" Olivia said clapping her hand.

One was her brother; the other was her mate. Dylan picked Sophia up, and few of the bags.

"This always happens whenever you go shopping." Austin scolded, his hands were so full of bags, and nothing in those bags were his.

On the other side, they were in the meeting. The meeting consisted of the elders in the pack, the vampires, the warlocks, Hunter and Avery as well as Hunter’s parents.

"Where is the rest of your team?" Hunter’s father asked.

"They are coming." Logan replied and, on the cue, Adrian and Ariana walked in.

The elders when they saw Ariana they were shocked. Wasn’t she the girl they said that she left the pack.

"You...You’re alive?" One of the elders asked in shocked.

"Yes!" Ariana replied and sat down.

"The others went to the mall they’ll arrive soon." Adrian spoke; Logan nodded.

"Rosemary, Olivia seriously!" Logan muttered under his breath.

Those two decided that this was the best time to go shopping, knowing them they were nowhere near to finish.

"Child tell me are back for good?" One of the elders asked.

"No!" She replied straightforward.

"May I ask why?" The other one asked.

"I think my eyes, and everything answers it for itself." She replied coldly, they had watched her being treated bad but said nothing despite being the elders.

"Ariana, you cannot talk to your elders like that." Her father scolded.

"Who are you to scold me?" She questioned turning to him.

"I’m your father!" Her father said feeling embarrassed, Ariana never used to talk back to them.

"I don’t have a father." She said coldly.

"Today’s meeting is to discuss the upcoming war, not your family drama." One of the warlocks said.

"I hope everyone stops asking me, you didn’t care about me in the past, so don’t pretend to care now." Ariana stated.

"I’m sorry we’re late!" Austin said and they all walked in.

Isabelle walked straight to her parents.

"Mommy!" Sophia called out in excitement, Dylan placed her on the floor, and they all watched her run to Ariana.

Hunter stared at the child in shock.

"My child!" He whispered but everyone heard him and turned to him.

"She’s my daughter, not your child." Adrian replied casting a cold glance.

"You’re lying!" Hunter shouted standing up.
