REJECTED ONCE, FROZEN FOREVER-Chapter 29: ESTRANGED

The month passed and although now they had to come with the terms that Ariana was gone and wasn’t going to come back, they started training harder than before.

Casey had put forgiven Bradley and accepted him as her mate, she no longer had to wake up to make breakfast. Since Hunter was now the Alpha, he had chosen Bradley as his Beta. Being a Beta’s mate made her the Beta female which meant that she was not an omega anymore.

"Bradley had stuck to his word and had warned the pack, if anyone dared to bully his mate then he was going to make them pay a lot more.

Hunter and Ava were not as lovely dovey as they should be. Ava’s mate had come during one of the events they had were hosting. Upon seeing his mate in another man’s arms, he had gotten angry and dragged her out. The man happened to be Beta from the neighboring pack.

When she saw that it was her mate, she was shocked. After all she had not waited for her mate but chose to mark and mate with another man. When he asked her why she had simply told him that she wanted to be the luna, he was disappointed and couldn’t accept the fact that his mate now belonged to someone else.

The mating bond she had made with Hunter could have been broken if her true mate marked her, but Ava was not ready to give up the position as the luna and told him it would be better if he rejected her. She had no plans of accepting him and when he saw that with a heavy heart, he rejected her, and his pack left all together.

But it had been that incident that they grew apart, both having broken the bond with the true mates left them feeling empty inside.

"Hunter what time will you be back?" She asked him when she saw him leaving.

"I don’t know I have a lot of work to do." He replied coldly and walked out of the room.

She watched his retrieving figure and sighed. When she walked down the street and saw other mates couple, she couldn’t help but feel pain in her heart. She shook her head and smile she was the luna, so she had other things to take care of. fɾeeweɓnѳveɭ.com

Since finding out the true reason that their pack was thriving and all because they were using Ariana’s energy didn’t sit well with her. She blamed Ariana for Hunter becoming indifferent towards her, she also had cut the bond with her true mate, but she still treated him good.

She couldn’t accept that the only reason why she had been the strongest female in the pack was all thanks to Ariana’s energy source that they had been draining. So, ignoring Hunter’s indifferent she decided to pour herself into training and handling her duties.

During the day she would be busy running the pack, and at night she would train. Her family had now estranged from each other, Bradley got his mate and Casey moved into Bradley’s room. Whenever she met her, she would be crying, she would be carrying one of Ariana’s baby clothes which had started to irritate her.
