Reincarnation of The Villainess: She Has The Duke's Baby!-Chapter 60: #-I Hate Your Little Sister!
Penelope closed her eyes and smiled faintly.
She never thought she would get this kind of happiness. Penelope had thought she would only meet her tragic death just like the real Penelope Askary that she read about when she lived as Sienna. The woman opened her eyes when she felt a soft touch on her head. As soon as Penelope turned her head, she closed one eye as Edmund’s sexy lips landed on her cheek. Almost to the corner of her lips.
"Did I tire you out?" asked Edmund in a worried tone. He tightened his hold on Penelope’s waist.
"No," Penelope chuckled. "We didn’t do it to the end, did we? We’re just doing a kind of ’warm up’." Penelope turned again and touched Edmund’s cheek. "I feel satisfied even though we just ’touch’ each other. We’ll ask the doctor if we can have sex in the future while I’m pregnant like this." Penelope cleared her throat and covered her face with her hands. "But, Ed... do we have to do this and in this position?"
Edmund smiled amusedly. "I do not understand what you mean. What are we doing? Hmm?"
Penelope snorted. Her face was red as she looked at Edmund for the umpteenth time. "Why do we have to take a bath together? I’m embarrassed to be naked in front of you, Ed! Our bodies are also very close together. Aren’t you ashamed?"
Edmund raised an eyebrow. "What am I feeling ashamed of? Penny, this isn’t the first time I’ve seen your naked body. I saw it that night when you ’attacked me’," teased Edmund. "Did you forget? Oh, right, you were drunk back then. I can understand if you don’t really remember our passionate night at that time. Let me tell you. You always ask me to touch your body all over again, Penny. And you always moan with pleasure because of that."
Penelope’s face was getting redder and the woman splashed Edmund’s face with water. Both of them were soaking in warm water in the bathtub. Edmund leaned back in the tub and Penelope leaned her back against his warm chest. Then, Penelope flinched and gave Edmund an annoyed look.
"Where is your hand touching me now, Edmund Gerwyn?" Penelope grumbled. She jerked Edmund’s hand that was playing on her breast and snorted. Edmund just laughed and shrugged.
"I still want to make you scream my name, Honey. After all, the expression on your face seems to say that you are still not satisfied with what I did."
"Don’t talk nonsense," Penelope snorted again. "If my Father and older brother find out about this, not only will they annul our wedding but they will also burn you alive." The woman then turned around. "Ed, did you know that Isabella Lysander was in a carriage accident and her hand is currently in a cast due to a fracture?"
"Oh, yeah?" Edmund raised an eyebrow. The man looked uninterested in this information but Penelope could swear she could see the faint smile on the Duke’s handsome face. "Is that true? I’m so sorry for that woman."
"You don’t look worried." Penelope frowned. "Aren’t you close to her?"
"No," shook Edmund. "Why would I be close to such a disgusting woman?"
"You once loved her." Penelope would not give up.
"In the past. And that is my biggest mistake. I can’t see and know that woman’s evil nature that is hidden so well in her heart." Edmund stared coldly and blankly ahead and Penelope could see it. "I was so angry when I saw and heard her humiliate you in the palace that night. She blatantly wanted to seduce me in front of you. I’m glad you got back at her in front of the bathroom in the palace afterward."
Penelope blinked. The woman’s mouth opened wide. "Did you see that happen?!"
"Of course. And I’m very proud of you." Edmund nodded eagerly. He smiled broadly. "You really love me, huh? I was angry when I saw you get slapped by her but I was so happy when I saw you slap her back so hard that she fell."
Penelope was embarrassed but the woman decided not to think about it too much. She cleared her throat and narrowed her eyes. "Wait a minute. You had nothing to do with Isabella’s accident, right?"
"Honey, did you just accuse me of doing those scary things?" Edmund asked back. He wore an expression as if he was devastated and couldn’t believe what Penelope had told him. The man acted like he was hurt by Penelope’s words. He held his chest and looked away. "I can’t believe you have the heart to accuse me of that."
"Ed?" Penelope called out to him in an annoyed tone, causing Edmund to chuckle and raise his hands in the air.
"All right, all right." Edmund shrugged his shoulders. "I just taught that woman a little lesson because she dared to slap you and dared to threaten you to hurt our child. Isn’t that what I should do as a man who loves his wife and child?"
"You still can’t harm someone like that, Ed. She’s a woman."
"Then, if she’s a woman, I can’t teach her a lesson for daring to hurt and insult the people I love?" asked Edmund. The man snorted. "Okay, let’s talk about something else. I don’t want to remember that bitch anymore. The important thing is I don’t kill her. I just hurt her a little." Edmund took a deep breath and frowned when he saw something around Penelope’s waist. "Hey, I didn’t notice this scar before. Maybe because I was too excited and concentrated on satisfying you on that night we had sex. What caused this scar?"
Penelope looked at her waist where Edmund was pointing. The woman raised an eyebrow and frowned. She tilted her head.
"Hmm? I’m not sure and don’t really remember. It’s like—" Suddenly, Penelope stopped talking. The images appeared in her head. The woman could see a little girl up in the tree. Then, the little girl screamed when someone pushed her from the tree. As the little girl landed on the grass, her waist was scratched by a sharp branch below. She cried and screamed in pain, then lost consciousness. Then, another shadow appeared. The same little girl, who was currently facing another small child, a boy, lowered her head with her tiny body trembling. The little boy pointed at the little girl’s face and then pushed her so hard that she fell. This made Penelope close her eyes and hold her aching head. "Ugh!"
"Penny?! Are you okay?!" shouted Edmund frantically. He immediately got out of the bath and put a towel around his waist. Then, Edmund put a towel around Penelope’s body and carried her. He took Penelope out of the bathroom and sat her carefully on the bed. "Your face is a little pale, Honey. How are you feeling right now?"
"I’m fine," Penelope shook her head. The woman smiled faintly. "No need to panic and turn pale like that, Ed."
"How can you say that? I’m afraid you’re hurt, Penny! I... I..." Edmund looked down and held Penelope’s hands tightly. Penelope widened her eyes when she realized the body of the man in front of her was trembling. The woman smiled and stroked Edmund’s head gently. This made Edmund look up.
"Forgive me. I’ve made you worry. It’s just that I suddenly remembered something. Something that happened when I was little. It seems this wound is the wound when I was pushed from the top of the tree by a boy. I also remember that boy always bullying me and hurting me."
"What?!" growled Edmund. "Who’s he? What family is he from? I won’t let him get away! Even though it was a very long time ago, the wounds from his actions still leave an imprint on you. And I will not let the people who made you suffer get away with it!"
"I do not remember." Penelope shook her head weakly and looked down. "I’m not saying this because I’m afraid you’ll kill him. However, I really can’t remember who it was. That’s why my head hurts so much."
Edmund immediately hugged Penelope and rubbed her back gently.
"Alright, let’s forget about that person. We better get dressed and get some rest. I think Sarah has returned to this mansion after delivering my letter to your Father."
Penelope smiled and nodded.
But... who is that boy? Why can’t Penelope remember? Did the incident when she fell from a tree make her amnesia?
###
Isabella Lysander is bored at home.
Even though her parents told her to rest after she had a carriage accident which caused her hand to be in a cast due to a fracture, Isabella didn’t want to do it.
"This hand in a cast really pisses me off," Isabella grumbled. The woman walked into the square alone, not wanting to be disturbed by anyone. "Until when do I have to wear this damn cast?"
Isabella didn’t realize that she had walked too far into a deserted area. The woman only realized it when two large men with scary faces blocked her path. She looked up and paled. Isabella gulped and took a step back. She lost her balance because of the fear that overtook her, then fell to the ground. The woman was shaking violently.
"Look at that woman," chuckled one of the two men. "She is very beautiful and seems to come from a noble family. Can’t we sell her? We will earn a lot of money if we sell a noblewoman like her!"
Isabella shook her head firmly and began to cry. "No! Don’t talk recklessly or I’ll make both of you regret it! Don’t you two know who my family and I are?!"
"I don’t need to know who you are, woman," said the other man in a sharp tone. "What I want is for you to give me a lot of money! Now, come with me and my friends or we will make you suffer."
Isabella closed her eyes as she watched the two of them reach out, preparing to drag her away. However, when Isabella heard the voices of people in pain, Isabella dared to open her eyes. She blinked and widened her eyes when she saw a man standing before her. In his right hand is a sword and he has blue hair. The same blue hair as the annoying woman who had taken Edmund Gerwyn away from her.
"Aren’t you ashamed to want to hurt a woman like her?" asked Ethan Askary in a mocking tone. He was doing an inspection around this place with some of the Askary family’s knights when he saw Isabella Lysander enter an alley and was being harassed by the two men in front of him. "Do you want me to take you to the imperial prison and let the imperial knights torture you there? Do you want to get the death penalty?"
The two men stared at each other. They were in a lot of pain because Ethan Askary suddenly appeared and immediately beat the two of them. Without waiting any longer, the two men immediately ran from the small alley. Ethan snorted and put his sword back in, then turned and looked at Isabella. He approached the woman and raised an eyebrow.
"Are you okay?" Ethan asked. The man stretched out his right hand and helped Isabella to stand up. His eyes then looked at Isabella’s hand which was in a cast. "If you’re injured, shouldn’t you just rest at home and not take a walk in the square?"
Isabella snorted and jerked Ethan’s hand away from her hand. "Don’t meddle in my business, Duke Askary."
"Is this how you thank the person who saved your life?" growled Ethan. "And don’t call me Duke Askary. That’s my Father. I’m not a Duke yet."
"Whatever." Isabella looked at Ethan with a sharp gaze. "What you should know is, I really hate your little sister, Duke Askary! I hate her because she took Edmund Gerwyn away from me!"
Ethan frowned. "Have you lost your mind? You are the Crown Prince’s woman, right? Everyone in this empire also knows that you two are very close and might get married soon. You are the reason why Penny is always hurt by the Crown Prince because she can’t get the man’s love and always gets humiliation from him. And now you accuse my little sister of taking Edmund Gerwyn away from you? You don’t even have any relationship with Edmund Gerwyn."
Isabella clenched her fists. "I don’t care! Edmund always cared about me but now he dumped me because of that bitch! She—"
Ethan immediately took out his sword and pointed it at Isabella’s neck. The woman froze and gulped.
"Don’t ever insult my little sister with your dirty mouth, Isabella Lysander," Ethan growled. "My little sister and Edmund Gerwyn love each other. They are getting married and will soon have a child. I will make you regret and will destroy your family if you dare to insult my little sister again."
