Reincarnation of The Villainess: She Has The Duke's Baby!-Chapter 46: #-Lovey Dovey With Edmund Gerwyn
"How is your condition?"
Penelope shrugged and smiled faintly. "Maybe, because the baby’s father is a troublemaker, this baby always makes its Mother dizzy." The woman glanced at her hand which was held tightly by Edmund. "I just felt nauseous. That’s why I decided to climb a tree to get some fresh air."
Edmund raised an eyebrow and chuckled. Currently, the man and Penelope were sitting under a tree leaning against the tree trunk and enjoying the night breeze and the stars that looked beautiful in the sky.
"I’ve never caused any trouble, Penelope. I’m a problem solver. It’s just that, maybe, my way to solve problems is a bit extreme." Edmund looked down and talked with Penelope’s stomach. This made Penelope freeze and clear her throat to try to get rid of her nervousness. The woman glanced at Edmund who was now gently rubbing her stomach and looked at her stomach with affectionate eyes. Seeing Edmund’s current attitude, somehow Penelope felt comfortable and at peace. That warmth welled up within her. "My child, please don’t make your Mother get a headache, Honey. Don’t make trouble for your Mother either. Don’t you feel sorry for your Mother? Hmm? Be a good child even though you are still in your Mother’s womb."
After saying those things, Edmund put his face close to Penelope’s belly and kissed it. This made Penelope gasp and blink. Her face started to heat up and blush. Penelope was sure Edmund wouldn’t be able to see the blush on her face. However, for some reason, when Edmund looked up at her, Penelope immediately looked away.
"Did you avoid eye contact with me just now, Duchess Gerwyn?" asked Edmund in an amused tone. His voice sounded so seductive, making Penelope swallow hard and fan her still-hot face. Her heart was pounding like crazy. The woman could only hope that the embarrassing sound of her heart could not be heard by Edmund.
"Du—Duchess?" Penelope snorted. "What are you talking about? I’m not Duchess Gerwyn! I’m just Penelope Askary."
"You will become Duchess Gerwyn as soon as we return to the capital, Penelope. Do you think I will let you and our child live without me? I will not return you to the Askary mansion, Penelope. You will come back with me to Gerwyn’s mansion."
Penelope took a deep breath and looked at Edmund with a stern look. "Do you want to get in trouble with my family, Ed? What would my family say if they found out you brought me back to your mansion? You will die at the hands of my father and older brother."
"I don’t care," shook Edmund. He immediately hugged Penelope’s petite body tightly, making her bite her lip. Oh, Lord! Why does she always get nervous around this man? Where has her fear gone for Edmund Gerwyn who, according to the original novel, will kill her in the future? But, maybe she should start forgetting the storyline in the original novel because everything is different now. Yeah, she should forget everything and start a new story. Penelope also had to accept the fact that she had fallen in love with Edmund Gerwyn. "I don’t want to lose you and our child again, Penelope. I don’t want to go through the days like hell again. How many times do I have to kneel in front of you and say that I love you and our child very much for you to believe me?"
Penelope took a deep breath and gently pushed Edmund’s chest so she could be free from the man’s warm embrace. She smiled and cupped Edmund’s face. Those eyes that were usually cold and sharp now looked trembling and afraid.
"Ed, I understand. I really do. You convinced me of your feelings very well. I... I’m not sure yet, but I think I love you too."
Edmund’s eyes were now full of hope.
"In that case—"
"But!" Penelope immediately interrupted Edmund’s words. She cleared her throat. "But, even though you love me so much, even though you are the father of this baby, there are stages we must go through, Ed. You got me pregnant, that’s already the wrong stage. So, when we return to the capital, the first thing we should do is talk to my parents about my pregnancy. You must kneel down and apologize to them. You also have to be able to convince my parents and Brother Ethan. If they accept you, the next thing we’re going to do is get married. Then, I will become your Duchess."
Edmund looked down and rubbed his chin. Seeing the man thinking like this somehow made him look sexy and adorable in Penelope’s eyes. Then, suddenly, Penelope felt something hot appear inside her body. She gulped and looked away. However, her eyes glanced at Edmund’s lips. His lips always gave her a hot kiss. Then, Penelope’s eyes dropped to Edmund’s athletic chest. The chest she once touched. The memory of having hot sex with Edmund that night made Penelope close her eyes and shake her head firmly. After that, Penelope opened her eyes again and glanced at something that was under Edmund’s stomach and between Edmund’s thighs. Something that, if Penelope remembered correctly, was so big and hard as it entered her body that time.
Dammit! Why is she turning into such a pervert now?! Would a pregnant woman’s hormones also make her think such vulgar things?!
"You’re right," nodded Edmund. He looked at Penelope’s face which looked a little red. "Wait, Penelope? Why is your face red? Are you sick? Do you have a fever?"
"Huh? Oh no. I—"
Penelope couldn’t finish her words and was wide-eyed when Edmund’s face got so close to hers. The man brought his forehead to Penelope’s to check whether Penelope had a fever or not. His blue eyes stared straight into Penelope’s golden eyes that were so beautiful and he liked them so much.
"No, you don’t have a fever," said Edmund in a gentle voice. "But, what makes your face red like this? Is our child okay?" Now, Edmund’s hand touch Penelope’s stomach again and rubbed it gently. "Our baby didn’t misbehave or kick you from the inside, did it?"
Penelope could not answer. She was too nervous and her heart couldn’t stop beating fast. Seeing Penelope’s adorable attitude, Edmund smiled and chuckled. The man moved his forehead away from Penelope’s and cupped the face of the woman who would soon become his Duchess.
"What’s wrong with you? Are you shy around me? Do I make your heart flutter? Am I so handsome that it makes you blush?" Edmund tilted his head and smiled seductively at Penelope who was now sullen.
"Do you really like teasing me like that? You are so childish, Duke Edmund," Penelope grumbled. She jerked Edmund’s hand away so that she could be freed from the annoying man. Then, Penelope stood up and was about to enter the house when her arm was held by Edmund who was also standing. The man then gently pulled Penelope’s arm, making Penelope blink and gasp, then hugged Penelope’s waist from behind. Edmund put his face on Penelope’s shoulder and neck, closed his eyes, and inhaled the sweet scent of the woman’s body.
"Forgive me. Your face and attitude are so adorable that it makes me always want to tease you," whispered Edmund in a gentle voice. He opened his eyes again and kissed Penelope’s neck, causing her to widen her eyes and immediately turn around while holding her neck.
"You are such a pervert, Edmund Gerwyn!"
Edmund laughed. The laugh he never showed to anyone else. Penelope’s favorite laugh. If it’s like this, Penelope can’t stay angry at Edmund for long. She smiled faintly.
"Where are you going?"
"I’m sleepy," Penelope said. "I’m tired. Your child asked me to sleep soon."
"And leave me?" Edmund looked sad like a puppy abandoned by its master. "Do you have the heart to leave me alone?"
"Don’t be so childish, Duke Edmund," Penelope said, hitting the Duke lightly on the head. Maybe in this world, the only person who dared to go against and scold Edmund Gerwyn was Penelope Askary. "Your child hasn’t even been born yet, but you’re already showing your jealousy. What if your child is born? Are you going to compete with your own child for my attention?"
"Maybe?"
Penelope’s mouth opened wide and she shook her head. "I do not believe it. Let go of me now and let me go to sleep."
"Then, I will come with you and sleep with you."
"Huh?!"
"Penelope, it’s not like I’ve never slept with you in the same bed," chuckled Edmund. "Did you forget that I have slept with you? In fact, I was naked when I slept with you, right? I—"
"Your mouth!" Penelope turned quickly and stood on her tiptoes so she could cover Edmund’s mouth. The crazy Duke gave her a teasing and amused look, making Penelope’s face heat up and blush again. "You must watch your words in the presence of your child, Edmund Gerwyn! I don’t want my child to hear vulgar words or harsh words! Do you understand?!"
Penelope screamed when she felt the wetness on her palms. She widened her eyes when she realized that Edmund had just licked her palm. Then, Edmund wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her up so they could be close together. Penelope could feel Edmund’s warm breath tickling her face. Their lips almost touched and Penelope could feel Edmund’s heartbeat on her chest against his.
"Your wish is my command, My Duchess!"
Penelope snorted, then giggled, and shook her head. She let Edmund caress her face gently and lovingly. Like the look in his eyes right now.
"I love you, Penny," said Edmund with a smile. This time, he called her by her nickname, just like Penelope’s family did. "And I will continue to say it every day. It doesn’t matter if you will get tired of hearing it or not. I just want you to know that I will always love you every day."
Then, Edmund kissed Penelope on the lips to prove his words and to give warmth to the woman who was pregnant with his child.

Philleo Aaron drank the red wine quickly.
The man laughed and brushed his hair with his fingers. He had to do something. Philleo was sure Penelope didn’t want the baby she was carrying. Penelope must have felt disgusted at the baby. The woman must have hated the baby because the baby was Edmund Gerwyn’s flesh and blood who always wanted to kill her. But, Penelope was too kind to kill a baby that wasn’t even born yet.
"I have to help her," Philleo muttered. He poured the red wine into the glass. His eyes were sharp and cold in the darkness. "I have to do something to kill that baby. But, I don’t want to hurt Penelope Askary."
Philleo stood up from his chair and walked toward the window. From his bedroom window, he could see Penelope and Edmund walking toward the summer house hand in hand. Penelope’s face looked uncomfortable in his eyes, making Philleo tighten his jaw and bite his lip again. The blood that came out of his lips didn’t bother Philleo at all.
"He has stained my woman," Philleo growled. "I have to teach that man a lesson for daring to touch and stain my woman! Of course, I don’t mind making Penelope Askary mine even if her body has been touched by a scumbag like Edmund Gerwyn." The man laughed. His eyes fell on Penelope’s stomach. "That damn baby, I will immediately kill it. Just be patient a little longer, my sweet cat."
Philleo sat back down and opened the drawer in front of him. He took out a small knife and also a small bottle. The bottle that he always carries everywhere if something happens that forces him to use the contents in the bottle. Philleo grinned.
"Stab her in the stomach or poison her," Philleo muttered. His grin looks really scary right now. "Which one is quicker to get the damn baby out of my sweet cat’s womb?"
