After ordering his knights to take care of Marquess Lysander’s corpse and collecting all the corpses of human sacrifices in the basement, Edmund met Penelope who was resting under a tree.

"Ed," Penelope called in a tired tone. "Please, take me to meet my Father and Mother."

"Now?"

Penelope was silent. The woman lowered her head and took a deep breath. She nodded and let Edmund lead her into the living room. "Duke, what happened to my little sister?" asked Ethan in a sharp tone. "Can’t you protect her well? Why does Penny look like this?"

"To be honest, I don’t know what happened to her either," explained Edmund. "We handed over Sebastian De Louis to the Emperor and the Emperor was cooperative. The Emperor helped us to capture Marquess Lysander." The Duke glanced at Isabella. "Lady Isabella, your adoptive Father is dead. I killed him because he tried to hurt my wife."

Duchess Askary froze. The woman looked at her husband and Duke Askary looked very calm.
