Penelope Askary decided to stay overnight at the Abelavish imperial palace.
Of course, the Duchess argued first with her husband, Edmund Gerwyn. The Duke did not allow Penelope to stay overnight anywhere else. There are three reasons. First, Edmund didn’t want Penelope to get tired. Even though they could leave using teleportation magic, Penelope would still spend her time playing with Isabella Lysander if they were in the same place. Second, Edmund didn’t want Penelope to meet Helios Rune Abelavish. The Duke was still annoyed by the words of the Crown Prince of the Abelavish empire who said he wanted to take Penelope Askary. And finally, Edmund still couldn’t completely forgive Isabella Lysander. He may no longer show his anger openly but Edmund still thinks about Isabella’s crimes in their past life.
But, it wouldn’t be Penelope Askary if she couldn’t get Edmund Gerwyn to allow her to stay at the Abelavish imperial palace. Without even having to try hard, Penelope managed to use her tears to get Edmund to give her permission.
"I’ll catch up," said Edmund as he ushered Penelope, the twins, Sarah, and Jellal. Chris was waiting in the backyard because he was going to teleport his Duchess. "I will try to complete my work as quickly as possible. Before I arrive, you must not do anything dangerous, Penny."
Penelope snorted. "What do you think I would do?"
"Given who you are, you can do unreasonable things. Plus, you’re pregnant." Edmund rubbed Penelope’s stomach. "Did you forget you loved climbing trees when you were pregnant with the twins?"
Penelope cleared her throat and looked away. She felt embarrassed and started to blush because Sarah and the others chuckled when they heard Edmund’s words just now.
"If I find you on the roof of the palace, believe me when I say I will overturn the Abelavish imperial palace."
"I’ll kill you if you do something stupid like that, Edmund Gerwyn," Penelope grumbled. "Besides, do you think my older brother will let me do dangerous things? He would definitely lock me up in the banquet hall together with Isabella and would tell us to just chat while enjoying tea and sweets."
Edmund chuckled and hugged Penelope tightly. He kissed Penelope’s forehead and also her lips. Then, Edmund looked at Jellal with a firm gaze.
"You, a shadow knight who likes to hide behind women’s backs," grumbled Edmund. Jellal cleared his throat and looked down. He knew his master was mocking him for always avoiding the Duke when the Duke didn’t know about the Duchess’s pregnancy yet. "If you cannot carry out your duty to protect your Duchess well, I will force you to wear a dress and turn you into a woman. Do you understand?"
"Understood, Your Grace." Jellal nodded.
While waving her hand to her husband, Penelope Askary and the others used teleportation magic to go to the Abelavish imperial palace.

Sebastian De Louis feels he has given too many opportunities for Penelope Askary and the people around her to feel happiness.
The man felt it was time for him to take some actions. He had begged his Father to let him visit Isabella Lysander in the Abelavish empire and swore not to make a fuss there. Sebastian had to beg for several days and finally, Emperor De Louis gave him permission. He sent a letter to his friend, Emperor Abelavish, and the Emperor allowed Sebastian to come to his palace.
"I just wanted to meet Isabel and seduce her so that she would come back into my arms. But, I didn’t expect to get information that Penelope Askary was there." Sebastian grinned and licked his lips. "Isn’t this a golden opportunity for me?"
Sebastian leaves using teleportation magic. He left together with his knight—Tristan—and several knights of the imperial palace. He also brought a bouquet of flowers for Isabella and Penelope, as well as the two women’s favorite cakes.
"Thank you for allowing me to visit and play at your palace, Your Majesty," Sebastian said in a polite tone as he bowed. "May Elleia’s light always be with you."
Emperor Abelavish smiled and patted Sebastian’s shoulder several times.
"Raise your head, Crown Prince." When Sebastian raised his head, Emperor Abelavish said, "I’m sorry that I’m the only one who can greet you. My son was chatting with his guests in the banquet hall. The butler will take you to the banquet hall right now so you can immediately meet my son and his friends."
Sebastian De Louis smiled. He and Tristan followed the butler of the Abelavish imperial palace while the De Louis imperial knights who were tasked with protecting the Crown Prince decided to stay still in front of the Abelavish palace.

"Your Highness!"
Jeremy’s exclamation made Helios, Penelope, Isabella, and Ethan turn their heads around. Helios clicked his tongue in annoyance because Jeremy opened the door with a hard push and shocked Penelope and Isabella.
"Did you forget your manners, Jeremy?" Helios grumbled.
"Forgive my impudence, Your Highness." Jeremy also apologized to Penelope and the others. "But, I felt I had to convey this information as quickly as possible to His Highness and the others."
"What is it?" Penelope asked in a firm tone. She had a bad feeling about this. "Did something happen in this empire or the De Louis empire?"
Jeremy shook his head. "But... Crown Prince Sebastian De Louis is here."
This information made Penelope wide-eyed, as did the others. They all stood and widened their eyes.
"What are you saying?" Helios approached Jeremy. "How did he come to this empire? Why don’t I get any information? You’re kidding, huh?!"
Jeremy shook his head. "Your Highness, I couldn’t possibly be joking. I’m serious. I saw with my own eyes. His Majesty has just welcomed Crown Prince Sebastian and immediately ordered Crown Prince Sebastian to come here."
Isabella immediately paled on the spot. Her body trembled. However, her feelings improved a little better when Ethan hugged her and stroked her back gently.
"What does that bastard want to do in my sacred palace?" Helios growled. The man told Jeremy to follow him and left Penelope, Isabella, and Ethan in the banquet hall.
"Jellal!"
Jellal appeared and immediately knelt in front of his Duchess.
"Teleport to Gerwyn’s mansion and tell Duke Edmund that the bastard who tried to make me his Empress and tried to kidnap me at that time came to visit the Abelavish palace."

Edmund Gerwyn gasped and growled. He gave a murderous look to Edgar who entered his study with quick steps. If usually Edgar would be afraid to see Edmund’s gaze like this towards him, now the man had to forget his fear for a moment.
"I’ll kill you," muttered Edmund. He continued his activity of signing several documents on the table. "What made you come in such a hurry?"
"That bastard—no, I mean, Crown Prince Sebastian De Louis came to the Abelavish imperial palace, Your Grace!"
Hearing this information, Edmund froze. The tip of the pen broke because he pressed it too hard and his signature on the document was messed up. His blue eyes stared intently at Edgar, making Edgar freeze and immediately look down. His body trembled with fear. He had to congratulate Sebastian De Louis for awakening the sleeping tiger inside Edmund Gerwyn.
"How dare that bastard visit the Abelavish palace?! What is he doing there?!"
"It seems that he wants to meet Lady Isabella, Your Grace. I also don’t know the detailed information. I got this information from Jellal and now Jellal has returned to the Duchess’ side. He felt uncomfortable leaving the Duchess alone in that place because of the appearance of Crown Prince Sebastian."
Edmund stood up and walked quickly to look for Chris.
"Your Grace? Are you going to the Abelavish palace?"
"Of course. I really miss my best friend, Sebastian De Louis. And, it seems I’m not the only one who misses him. It seems that my sword also misses him a lot. So, I will meet him with my sword."
Edgar swallowed hard.
"Err... Your Grace, he is the Crown Prince of this empire."
"So?"
"You could be accused of rebellion and treason. You can be sentenced to death for trying to harm a member of the imperial family."
Edmund stopped walking and turned his head. The Duke grinned and grabbed Edgar’s shoulders. Seeing the expression on Edmund’s face and the look in his eyes, Edgar swallowed hard and couldn’t control his crazy beating heart. He could only hope that his heart wouldn’t explode and that his master wouldn’t hear it.
"Do you think I care about such trivial things, Edgar?"
"Yes?"
"If necessary, I will remove the Emperor from his throne. I can also cut off his head. I’m not afraid of anything, Edgar. What I fear in this world is if I lose the people I really love. What I fear is that I fail to protect my Duchess and my children."
Edgar was amazed by his master. The man always wanted to be Duke Edmund if he found the woman he loved. Then, Edgar gripped both of Edmund’s hands tightly, making Edmund frown.
"I like you, Your Grace!"
"I will kill you!" Edmund grumbled and immediately jerked Edgar’s hand away.
