"Come out!"

Philleo Aaron shouted when he reached his hiding place. His purple eyes darted sharply and coldly around him, trying to find something invisible. His hands clenched tightly at his sides. His jaw clenched and his teeth gritted.

"I knew you were here!" Philleo shouted again. "I know you are always watching me! Get out right now! Don’t just talk to me from your hiding place and show your form!"

Suddenly, that black light appeared. Then, Philleo could see a beautiful woman wearing a dress appear in front of him. The woman smiled broadly and approached Philleo, then caressed his handsome face. Philleo immediately jerked the woman’s hand away and looked her right in the eye.

"Were you the one talking to me all this time?" asked Philleo in a firm tone. "You told me that Penelope would suffer if she continued being with Edmund Gerwyn, right?"

"Yes, you’re right," nodded the woman. "I am Goddess Oizys. I am the Goddess of Sorrow and Suffering. I am the enemy of Goddess Elleia. I can know the suffering Penelope will experience in the future. That’s why I’m telling you so you can save her from that cruel Duke."

"Then, were you the one who gave me this strange power to make Penelope injured and fainted?"

"Yes."

"Why?! If you wanted me to save Penelope, why did you make me hurt her so she coughed up blood like that?!" shouted Phileo. He pointed at Goddess Oizys’ face and gave her a murderous look. "Now, tell me. How is Penelope Askary doing?!"

"That woman..." Goddess Oizys walked over with a big grin. "She is fine. She was in a very beautiful place. The place that the woman longed for."

"What do you mean?" asked Phileo.

Goddess Oizys turned her head around and looked at Philleo with an excited gaze. "I will make Penelope yours right now. What do you think? Isn’t this an attractive offer? Can this be my apology to you for giving you that power—black magic—and causing Penelope to get hurt?"

Phileo was silent. The man started to smile. He tilted his head and rubbed his chin. "You can do that for me?"

"Of course." Goddess Oizys laughed. "That’s easy for me, Philleo Aaron. But, I also want to ask you something."

"What’s that?" asked Phileo. "As long as I can have Penelope Askary, I will do anything. I only need that woman in this world."

"Then, bring Raven Gerwyn and Ocean Gerwyn to me."

"What?"

"The twins of Penelope Askary and Edmund Gerwyn," said Goddess Oizys in an excited tone. Her eyes twinkled. "Bring them to me. I really want them. If you succeed, I’ll make sure Penelope is yours, Philleo Aaron."

"That’s easy for me." Philleo Aaron snapped his fingers and grinned. "When should I bring the twins to you?"

"Right now." Goddess Oizys laughed out loud. "And now, I’m going to make Penelope look for you and think you’re her husband when she meets you."

"When will you leave me, Edmund Gerwyn?"

Sienna stared at the man in front of her with a look of despair. Currently, the woman was in her room. She had just come home from her part-time job and Edmund was still following her. Sienna placed her bag on the table and sat on the edge of the bed.

"This is my world, Edmund," Sienna said tiredly. "You are not a human who is from this world. Your world and mine are very different. Come back to your world. Penelope Askary and the twins are waiting for you."

Edmund shook his head. "What we are waiting for is you, Penny. You are Penelope Askary. You are no longer Sienna. Like it or not, you have to accept that fact. The real Penelope Askary is dead and you are living that woman’s life now. You are my wife. You’re the Mother of the twins."

"Stop talking nonsense!" Sienna exclaimed. The woman covered her ears and shook her head firmly. Sienna closed her eyes. "I belong to this world. I am Sienna, not Penelope!"

Edmund approached Sienna and knelt before her. Suddenly, the handsome man’s figure, which had only looked transparent like a ghost, now became solid. Become real. He was able to grab both of Sienna’s wrists and lower them down, causing Sienna to flinch and open her eyes instantly. The woman froze and her light brown eyes widened.

"You... can touch me now?" Sienna asked in a surprised tone. She looked completely disbelieving in her place. "How could that be?"

"Should I say this is the power of my love for you?" chuckled Edmund. The man took a deep breath and cupped Sienna’s face. He immediately kissed Sienna’s lips gently and lovingly. A warm kiss. A kiss that gave Sienna the meaning that he really loved her.

Sienna, who was shocked, could only widen her eyes. The woman then closed her eyes and shed tears. This was a very familiar kiss for her. She missed this kiss. Without Sienna noticing, the woman had wrapped her arms around Edmund’s neck. The kiss that had been gentle now turned hot and wild. The kiss that both told Edmund and Sienna that they missed each other.

Edmund broke the kiss to catch his breath. So did Sienna. The Duke smiled and wiped the tears off Sienna’s face.

"Why are you crying?" asked Edmund. "I kissed you not to make you cry, Penny. I kiss you because I miss you. Because I want to prove that I really need you and love you very much."

Sienna shook her head. "I can’t go back. This is my world, Edmund." The woman sobbed and looked into Edmund’s blue eyes. "Even if I wanted to return to that world, I don’t know how."

"Wake up."

Sienna blinked. "What?"

"Open your eyes, Honey," said Edmund in a firm tone. "This is not your old world. It’s a dream world. This is a world created by the black magic that hit your body when you were attacked by Philleo Aaron."

Sienna froze. She looked down and blinked. "This... is just a dream?"

"Yes," nodded Edmund. Then, the man pointed toward a green and red light. "Did you see that? The magic circle will bring us back to where we need to be. Ethan, Isabella, and also the twins, they are all waiting for your arrival. I was able to come see you and save you because of the help from your teacher."

"Claude Sylvester?"

Edmund laughed. "I hate to admit it but it was that man who helped me to save you." The man stood up and stretched out his right hand. Sienna looked at the hand doubtfully. Then, slowly, the woman took Edmund’s hand and let the Duke pull her up to her feet. "We’re going home now, Penny."

"Wait!"

That exclamation brought Edmund and Sienna to a halt. They both turned their heads around and froze. Edmund and Sienna’s eyes widened when they saw a man appear not far in front of them. The person held the crying twins and looked at Sienna with worried eyes.

"Penelope, don’t follow that man! He’s not your husband. I am your husband. Have you forgotten, Penelope? I am Edmund Gerwyn! I’m the real one and he’s a fake! That man is Philleo Aaron who disguised himself as me with his black magic, Penelope! You see this, right? Raven and Ocean. They are with me. They miss you, Penelope."

"Ethan, look at that!"

Ethan glanced in the direction Isabella was pointing at. The man widened his eyes and clenched his fists at his sides. Claude asked Edmund to sleep beside Penelope while holding her hand. According to Claude, it was easier to reach Penelope if the two of them were close together. And, there has to be physical contact too. Now, the green and red magic circle that was above Penelope and Edmund’s body started to vibrate. There was a black light that suddenly appeared between Claude Sylvester’s magic circle and tried to destroy it.

"What should we do, Ethan?" asked Isabella in a panicked tone. She saw Claude, who was closing his eyes to concentrate on his magic. The man looked bothered. "I think another force is trying to thwart our plan to save Penny."

"I know," said Ethan. "But, I also don’t know what to do. I—" Ethan blinked and looked at Isabella. "Wait. I know who can help us! Chris! Chris!"

The door to Edmund and Penelope’s room opened and Chris came running. He blinked when he saw the conditions in the Duke’s room.

"Prince Ethan, what’s going on here?" Chris frowned. "Why is the Duke lying with the Duchess? Then, what is that magic circle? And this..." Chris gulped. "Why does Claude Sylvester look uncomfortable and troubled?"

"I don’t have time to explain everything to you, Chris. What is clear is that Penny was hit by Philleo Aaron’s black magic and Duke Edmund was trying to save her with Claude’s help. However, there seems to be a disturbance." Ethan pointed at Claude’s magic circle. "It was Claude’s magic circle and that black light suddenly appeared. I guess, there are other forces trying to thwart them. Thus, please go to the Abelavish empire with your teleportation magic. Go to Crown Prince Helios and tell him that I asked him for help. Explain the situation I told you just now. My little sister’s and your master’s lives are in danger!"

Chris nodded firmly and immediately disappeared. Then, when Chris had disappeared from the room, Isabella gasped. The woman widened her eyes and fell to her knees. Seeing that, Ethan immediately approached Isabella and knelt in front of her.

"Isabel, what’s wrong?!" Ethan exclaimed. "Did you see something?"

Isabella nodded. Her face turned pale. "He will come."

"What?"
