"Hahah, yes you are! With this we’ve gained a new permanent member of the squad too," I nodded.
As I congratulated everyone, I noticed Nephilim approaching with a slightly annoyed expression.
"Master... why don’t you praise me too?" she asked, furrowing her eyebrows.
"N-Nephi? I just didn’t think you wanted..." I muttered.
"I want," she said flatly.
"Well... uh, sure!" I smiled and patted her head. "Well done too, Nephi. Thank you for helping the girls."
"Hm..." Nephi gave a warm smile and nodded. Then she spread her arms. "I want a hug as a reward."
"Well... come here." I opened my arms. She was much taller than me now, so she ended up being the one enveloping me—but it was still adorable. Being mostly mechanical, Nephi felt very cold, yet the moment I hugged her she seemed to soak up my warmth and gradually heated up.
"Do you like my warmth?" I asked, gently stroking her head.
"Yes, master... I missed this for years," she replied, leaning in to kiss my forehead and then my cheeks. "You’ve grown up and become such a cute lady. I am proud of you... and a bit jealous of Lady Aquarina."
"Jealous?" I asked.
"Nothing..." She patted my head lightly. "Anyway, shall I help you gather everything with Glutton?"
"Oh! Yes, please—thank you," I nodded. "Alright everyone, let’s take a break. We’re done here—oh?"
As I gave the order, I noticed the atmosphere of the entire dungeon shifting. The pervasive purple curse that had spread everywhere began to recede. Slowly, the dungeon started regaining its original azure hue.
"It seems the three bosses were living cursed cores that constantly emitted miasma!" Alice explained. "How fascinating! Once they died, the miasma levels dropped enough for the dungeon to begin healing naturally. Sylphy, we did it!"
"Yeah!" I nodded enthusiastically. "Thank you everyone—we finally saved one of the dungeons! I hope the others are doing well too... Alright, let’s pick things up quickly. Let’s see..."
I decided to collect everything in one sweep, the boss drops, the other monsters, all of it.
But when I tried to examine the details, I was bombarded with dozens of system notifications about level-ups and more...
Right—I hadn’t checked those yet.

There’s a kind of pseudo-divine spiritual tree there that she built by expanding her soul into it. Technically she’s living there too, overseeing everyone like a true goddess while also existing in Cloudia as a vast colony of trees and one enormous central one.
Yggdra is really amazing. I wonder... if she evolves at this point, what could she possibly become next? I can only imagine one path ahead, and it might be similar to Scarlet and Sapphire.
To make that happen, I need to secure more compatible materials. And maybe the ones we just collected here will help with that too.

She was clearly becoming more sentient with every level gained—that was awesome.
