RUMBLE!

The ground shook, as the Salt Crystal Forest began to suddenly transform, several of the crystals standing there in silence began to break apart and combine together into large humanoid figures made of salt crystals.

"GRUOOHHH!"

[A small group of [Great Salt Crystal Golem (Tier 6)] have appeared!]

Aquarina instantly realized there was a small notification above them, showcasing they were Salt Golems of Tier 6!

Perhaps in the past Tier 6 would have been a great challenge, even more when they're a dozen of these creatures.

But right now? They were just walking salt crystals and nothing else.

"W-What's that?!" cried Silvia. "The salt is moving around!"

"They're naturally occurring golems," said Aquarina. "This means this area has a lot of Mana… Anyways, they're just Tier 6 so let's just take it easy-"

"GRUOOOHH!"

Before Aquarina could finish her words, the largest of the Salt Golems rushed towards her, swinging its massive arms against her body, aiming to crush her.

BAAAM!

Crack, crack…!

The Golem suddenly found its arms stuck in something, as its sight senses realized the target it had aimed for was not crushed to death yet.

No, Aquarina was holding both arms with her bare hands, tightly beginning to crush them as her hands grew black scales and her nails grew into long black dragon claws.

"I was just talking, you piece of shit! ORRAAH!"

CRAAASH! CRAAASH!

With a furious roar befitting of her temperamental personality, Aquarina swung her two fists against the golem, as two explosions of her Aura hit the monster, instantly piercing through its defenses and shattering it into pieces.

BOOOM!

As the golem exploded into pieces and became a pile of salt crystals and a shattered, gray-colored core made of crystalized Earth and Metal-Attribute Mana, Silvia and Justicio noticed the other golems rushing towards them.

Completely unaffected by seeing their brethren being brutally murdered, the golems, even the natural ones, acted like automatic machines, fighting and attacking anything within their range anyways, without experiencing most emotions such as fear.

"Take care of them guys."

Aquarina was confident in her friends, and the two nodded, jumping into battle. The golems intercepted them with their massive fists, some of them even shooting sunlight lasers from their eyes, although they weren't that strong.

"HYAAAH!"

Silvia didn't even bring out Khepri's powers, summoning her Soul Weapon, she swung it against the golem in front of her, crushing it into smithereens.

CRAAASH!

At the same time, Justicio leaped into battle and covered his fists with his golden insectoid exoskeleton armor, creating a strong pair of mighty gauntlets.

"This is really useful!"

He swung his two fists against the golem, destroying its legs and making it collapse, before rushing towards its chest and head, destroying both, mostly because he wasn't sure if the core was in either place.

CRASH! CRASH!

At the same time, Aquarina summoned her dagger and threw it at the nearest golem, piercing through its core and making the golem instantly collapse.

BAAAM!

The golems stared dying one after another, being completely and utterly crushed by the overwhelming strength of the trio.

Not only could they easily destroy their bodies, but even taking hits from them didn't seem all that hard, these golems are often feared by visitors and whenever they see one, they escape, but they were just demolishing them.

"Phew, all done!"

Eventually, after a couple of minutes, they were done, and now there was a huge pile of salt in front of them. Aquarina quickly decided to retrieve some, while also pocketing their broken cores, which were pure crystalized mana, a good material for alchemy.

Thanks to the buffs from Sylphy's Skills boosting even Familiars from other friends EXP earned, Leviathan and Undine leveled up three levels by barely helping at all.

Aquarina was almost jealous of them and how easily they progressed… But she couldn't complain, two levels were fine enough for this level of difficulty.

"Okay, where's the ornament at?" she asked, cleaning her hands from all the salt.

"Should be over there," said Khepri. "Come, follow me!"

Khepri guided the trio through the crystal forest, in the way there, they encountered a couple more salty golems, though they were taken down swiftly.

After Aquarina dismissed the status messages, she glanced towards the "corridor" where Khepri was going to.

"What the hell is this place?"

It was a corridor made of melted golden metal, Orichalcum, which had been shaped and then cooled down into hard metal again.

"I don't know either! It feels strange, did something happen in here…?"

Khepri looked around, confused, although this time she led them instead of staying behind.

As they passed through the corridor, they finally arrived at something, a huge section of underground caves full of crystals, not just salt.

There were colorful mushrooms and crystals dimly illuminating the passages, with many intersections and branched paths.

"A cave!" said Silvia, looking around. "Oh wow, there's a lot of valuable metals and crystals here! Should we dig some up?"

"I would also want to… But I don't think we got time for that right now," said Justicio.

"Weid…" said Khepri. "I thought the ruins were here… but we found the orichalcum which makes them all melted, making a weird corridor leading to the underground here… What in the world happened to these ruins?"

"Maybe something hit them so hard they melted and exploded…?" asked Aquarina. "Somehow it feels like there might have been a huge explosion around here…"

"You think so?" Silvia wondered. "Hmm… Well! Let's just follow the radar and we'll find out!"
