Jonathan energy level was on a different level now. Even though he was at the fourth stage of his magical path, he could feel his energy was on a different level. It seemed having high level skills also improves the energy level of the ability users.

With his uniform still intact, Jonathan was an entirely different person.

"Now is the time"

Jonathan said as he released his aura. Jake was stunned to the bone when he felt Jonathan aura. It was terrifying, more terrifying than it used to be, not on a power level, but as fourth stage ability user, Jonathan energy shouldn’t be this huge.

That was the terrifying aspect of everything.

Due to Jake losing focus, Evan and the team could regain their energy back. The losing of energy was all about focusing and never showing any sign of fear but Jake couldn’t keep that up anymore when he saw the terrifying energy Jonathan was suddenly exhibiting now.

"That was a good job, but you should’ve let them know that it was urgent. I don’t know how we are going to be able to handle the situation before they come back.

Evan said to Jonathan immediately he stood up. Jonathan expression was calm.

"Yeah. I have never seen a titan Whale in action before, but I believe this team would be able to handle the job. There is no way we are letting an enemy get away."

Evan lips simply formed a half smile. He could already feel the B ranked skill energy working in his body. He had been trying to get a B ranked skill for years now, who would’ve thought that a junior would be the one to hand him what he had been looking for.

"You know what Jonathan. Am thankful we brought you alongside us. If not, we all be dead by now"

Ezra expression darkened at that moment. He looked away with a frown.

Jonathan only played his parts, if Jonathan wasn’t around they would find a way to survive.

Ezra wasn’t happy that Jonathan was being given any praises here, but what does it matter, at the end of the day Captain Evan would be the reason If they were going to survive this or not.

Evan voiced out loudly. The moment he said the words, his squad formed an attacking line. Jonathan was the only person excluded from the attacking line.

"Jonathan. You will act as support, and if create an opening for me. I want to shoot him with my best shot."

Ezra frown as he looked at Jonathan. Jonathan attention wasn’t on Ezra. He simply looked at Jake and gave a small nod that way.

Evan said as he faced Jake. His squad all faced Jake at that moment.

The moment Evan said the words. Willow and Ezra launched forward at once.

"Earth magic. Binding chains:

Willow said as she unleashed several large chains from the ground and they surge to bind Jake. Jake remained motionless on his spot, but as the earth chains were about to seize him the titan Whale slammed it tail on the ground and a massive earthquake followed, causing the earth chains to scatter completely. Ezra appeared in the air at that moment and he unleashed a massive burst of fire.

"C ranked skill: Flame Roar.

Ezra strike the fire to the Jake. Jake remained motionless on his spot as well. Ezra fire was about to hit Jake when the Titan whale opened it open, the air from it extinguished the fire immediately.

Jonathan eyebrows moved seeing how the fighting style of the titan Whale was unfolding.

He thought they would be fighting the titan Whale just like they fight with the bull rats and all that, but the titan Whale was different. It doesn’t move about. It seemed the power of the titan Whale falls on the summoner. The titan Whale merely appeared as a symbol of the power being used.

This was incredible and definitely a high end skill.

Jonathan was surprised by the capabilities of a summoner, no wonder they were feared and the number one ability users.

If he had known he would wait to become a summoner, but it doesn’t matter. He was kind of liking the martial artist ability, there was little or no attention on him, which was perfect given he had a system.

Jonathan took a deep breath at that moment. The battle was merely getting started, he could feel it.

Ezra was shocked that his fire was extinguished just like that. His expression darkened once more.

He wanted to retract when Jake gaze suddenly moved to him. Before Ezra could comprehend the motion, Jake moved his hands and a sudden force pulled Ezra to Jake. Ezra tried to resist the pull but he was completely powerless to the force from the attack.

In less than a second, Ezra was already in Jake hands. Jake wanted to squeeze Ezra immediately in his hands, but Evan was quick enough to appeared in front of him.

"Let him go!"

Evan said as he struck his fist forward to Jake stomach.

"Colossal Punch"

Evan screamed out as his fist became red. His fist was about to make an impact but Jake gripped Ezra tightly and used Evan as a defense for the attack.

Evan was quick enough to send his fist to the ground. The impact raised a large dust in the premises, but the dust cleared away at once and Jake threw Ezra to Evan.

The impact sent Evan and Ezra flying away. As they landed heavily on the ground, Jake took a leap from his spot. Nobody had been able to stand up from his aura field before, this was the first time somebody had been able to do that, and not only one person but everybody was able to stand up. It was insane!

The insanity made Jake angry and he thought of slaughtering the whole team in a pain way so when he tells a foe about it, he would l proudly say he slaughter the whole team.

Jake appeared close to Evan and Ezra who were still on the floor. He wanted to move his hands when Willow and several others unleashed their skills immediately.

"Captain Evan!!!"

"Erza!!!!"

They screamed out as they rushed forward to stop Jake. Jake simply looked at them and massive burst of wind energy sent all of them flying backwards. As they got sent backwards. Their premises was immediately covered by the titan Whale tail.

BOOM!!!

The titan Whale smashed Willow and the team to the ground.

"Willow!!!! No!!!!!!"

Evan screamed out on the ground. Jake smiled as he knew nobody would be able to survive a hit like that, certainly not childrens like this.

He faced Evan and Ezra again, and Evan suddenly covered his vision with a punch.

"Colossal Punch"

The punch landed on Jake face and it caused him to lose his balance a little, before he could recover himself back, Evan struck on the face again.

The impact smashed Jake far away, and Jake almost lost his balance by falling to the ground. The force of Evan attack was on a different level now.

Jake couldn’t believe that the lost of a someone could trigger a burst of energy this much, he had lost superiors and juniors before but none of them had triggered him to this extent.

"You Dreamway soldiers are something else, ain’t you guys"

Jake got his balance back in a staggering manner, and at that moment, Evan appeared close to Jake again. Jake wanted to take a few steps backwards when the surrounding was immediately covered with fire. Jake eyebrows moved a little. He looked ahead seeing Ezra was back to his feet too, and he could tell that Ezra attack have different before.

It seemed whatever affected Evan also affected Ezra as well.

Jake said on the spot as he stared at Evan. Evan slowly approached Jake as his fist was glowing higher than before.

"I am going to kill you"

Evan said as he deadly glare at Jake. His fist started glowing at that moment.

Evan took his stance and immediately dash forward to Jake. He was about to move his fist when Jake suddenly snapped his fingers towards Evan. The motion caused Evan to froze on his spot. Evan was stupefied by the sudden force that was holding him down on the ground. Just then, Ezra came out of nowhere and was about to attack Jake but Jake merely looked at him and he froze on his spot as well.

"There is no way you can defeat me. No matter what you do"

Jake said as he calmly folded his hands across his chest. The moment he did that, Evan and Ezra both fell to their knees.
