Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 765: An Insult To The Kings
Memphis was exchanging blows with the strange man as she began to change into her true lioness form.
Memphis was starting to understand how Kael’s enemies would have felt when they faced him.
The difference between a Primordial and a regular creature was just immense.
Despite being at the same Low Level Immortal tier, Memphis was being put at a disadvantage.
Her fingers, which were changing to the large paws with sharp curved claws, slashed out with the intent to cut this man into two.
The flow of time wrapped around, helping her increase her speed so that she could match up somewhat.
But the difference was still clear.
The cheetah Primordial always dodged all her attacks one way or the other. Or he would simply block them with a powerful strike of his own.
Both of them were moving quite fast, with the strange man utilising his Law of Speed and Memphis using her power over time.
However, the Primordial Cheetah had something that Memphis did not.
Momentum.
Whenever he threw a super fast punch,.he was still following a law of physics, even though it was broken.
The force of his punch was equal to his mass multiplied by his acceleration.
His mass was nothing to joke about, easily the same mass as a small planet, while his speed was even more extreme.
He constantly exceeded the speed of light. If not for his Law allowing him to break the laws of physics without actually breaking them, the area around him would have been filled with torn reality fabrics.
So, the force of his punches and kicks were all devastating, like a supernova had been condensed into a whip.
Memphis suffered because every time she tried to block an attack, she would feel pain and her bones would tremble.
Once she was finished with her transformation and ready to charge at her enemy with newfound strength, she felt a darkness creeping up from behind her.
Memphis could not afford to look back, not when she was standing in front of one of the fastest beings in the universe.
Without hesitation, she shot to the sky, channeling the flow of time around her to speed up.
She was chased. Two beings followed after her, one dark and one ordinary-looking man.
Just as she wanted.
She could sense the killing intent, as well as the hurriedness in their tone. They did not want to waste time apparently.
They would have moved on if not for the fact that they knew that attacking the other consorts with Memphis around was almost impossible.
Naturally, they had to eliminate Memphis. Besides, the order was to kill everyone. One down, several more to go.
Memphis looked down as she ascended to the dark abyss of a sky. Her green eyes dulled, aware that this could probably be the end.
A black claw slash raced toward her from below. She erected a Pause time bubble to serve as a temporary defense.
But she could only draw distance between her and the dark one, the other man who had fully transformed was still chasing her and hot on her tail.
Now a large spotted cheetah with an ethereal aura around him, the Primordial assassin moved his feet, stepping on the void and launching himself toward Memphis.
He wanted to chase her, he wanted to go faster than time itself.
*BAM!*
A shocking sound reached the ears of Memphis as the cheetah.
Memphis did not stop shooting toward the sky, but the cheetah spared a millisecond to look down.
To his horror, his partner who had come with him was being blasted toward the ground.
Ten powerful immortal auras appeared all of a sudden, rushing down from the sky from every location.
The new immortals had arrived.
The Primordial Cheetah was stunned. They had prepared for this day, they had made sure to stay in hiding and make sure Memphis was the only immortal around.
They already knew that the lions had other immortals, that was common knowledge by now.
What they didn’t know was how these immortals knew. Barely thirty seconds had passed since they appeared and the Cavalry had already arrived.
The rapid response system of the lions was insane.
Meanwhile, the Primordial Panther was smashed into the ground by a massive lion.
His lower jaw dug into the hard ground, creating a crate of unknown width and depth.
On top of his head was a fat paw with claws digging into his dark flesh.
The owner of the fat paw was a large lion more than three meters tall and filled with heavy muscles.
He looked down at the Primordial Panther with a yellow steely cold gaze that conveyed nothing but malice and sadism.
One of the immortals who had been born recently.
*CRACK!*
The sound of dense bone being fractured under the might of an absolute mass was heard, to the despair of the black panther.
Instantly, he turned into a cloud of black energy that dissolved and rushed away from the powerful immortal lion.
*BOOM!*
With nothing to stop it, the paw of the immortal lion smashed into the ground. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
All construction shuttles around the surrounding one hundred thousand kilometres were blasted away, probably turning to scrap metal in the process.
The fates of the little termites and beavers that could have been there were obvious.
Crushed.
The shockwave tore everything in its path, flushing the literal air away from the region.
It was a good thing the Apex continent was so wide and thick. Otherwise, that single paw strike would shatter a normal floating continent to pieces.
The large powerful lion looked up, the corner of his vision flashing with the golden screens of the lion system.
Multiple distress alerts had been sent out all at once.
The large lion, turning into a strong gravitational force just by standing there, flexed his head and shook his brown mane.
He opened his mouth and roared.
"Even if god came down today, he cannot save you!"
*BOOM!*
The large immortal lion sprang forward with a ferocious expression, shattering the large piece of land behind him as he chased after the dark energy that was the Primordial Panther.
How insulting was it to have lesser creatures attempt an assassination?
How much more was it that the same set of lesser creatures actually succeeded in that assassination?
Did not one respect the lion race again?
Such thoughts flashed through the minds of the lion kings, both in Leonine and in Original Heaven.
