Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 521: Fire Type
Alas, how far you go depends mostly on you.
Should we begin?"
Kael thought for a moment then nodded his head.
Memphis gave Kael a sweet smile, "Good, once you’re done and feel satisfied with your gains, just try to talk to me, I’ll show up."
After saying that, Memphis took a step back with her chest rising and falling in a rhythm only she could hear.
She snapped her fingers again and Ozia disappeared.
"Good luck, All-King," Memphis said, then snapped her fingers again. She disappeared, leaving Kael all alone.
Kael took in a deep breath, and he looked around, up and down. The sky retained its multicoloured appearance, and the ground was composed of soft dirt.
"Hmm," His spatial powers erupted and he sensed his surroundings.
He could see that he was in some bubble, a really big bubble that was hundreds of kilometres wide.
A thin membrane separated him from the outside world, preventing him from perceiving anything that was happening on the other side.
Kael was standing directly in the center.
’If I hit it, will it break?’ Kael wondered to himself, thinking of the membrane made of Memphis’s Time energy.
For him, who was still technically a tier 5 entity, it was that difficult for her to hold Kael in a time bubble of this scale.
Kael waited for a small while, wondering what he was supposed to do now.
"That’s right, she said that I should first gain clarity or something, it’s like..."
Kael’s pupils shrank and dilated multiple times within a short period of time.
"Ugh!," Kael grunted.
He felt a pressure come upon his whole being, the pressure came and went in the blink of an eye.
At first, Kael felt like he was going to be crushed, forced to grow old, and erased from time in an instant. It was a very scary feeling that made Kael’s hair stand on end.
The next thing he knew, the pressure was gone.
’That was the weight of eons?’ Kael thought in shock. He didn’t expect that when Memphis said he would feel the weight of many years, she was speaking literally.
The mysteries and workings of the power of time really amazed Kael even though he had not had the time to study it.
"Well then," Kael sat down on the ground. Since time was heavily distorted in this place, he had to make good use of it.
Kael realised that he forgot to ask for the specific rate at which time was flowing here.
Was it a hundred times faster than the main world, or a thousand times faster? Or a million times?
Either way, Kael was at peace, knowing that he had time now.
So he started mediating. He sat on the ground, legs crossed and his shoulders relaxed.
He took in a deep breath, and suddenly, a golden-hued torrent spun to life around him.
The surrounding vegetation glowed with a vibrant green colour, and the temperature constantly dipped and rose repeatedly.
Then, everything ceased.
Kael raised his hand to his side and held an open palm in front of his face. A layer of frost overcame the top skin of his palm.
The ice was nearly transparent with a gold tinge to make it look more dreamy and attractive to the common eye.
Kael observed the layer of frost with a scrutinizing gaze. This was the power he had gained from Alora right after their fight.
It was good to know that he had successfully bagged another lioness who would be useful to him soon enough.
Moving on, Kael performed some exercises with all his powers, making sure to familiarise himself with them.
He did this for two hours straight, he could have gone longer but since he had enough time to spare, he decided that he would come back to it later.
He flexed the wind, fire, and wines with his will, twisting and turning the elements according to his desires.
After he was done, Kael circled back to the fire element, all while having the faint pressure of time resting and being lifted off his body at the same time.
Kael brought his two hands in front of him and clapped them.
The temperature around him rose and fell, fluctuating rapidly, enough to twist space a little bit.
Eight balls of flames appeared in front of Kael, each the size of a human head. They rotated in a circular formation, lighting Kael’s face with different colours with each rotation.
Kael observed each of them. These eight flames were the manifestations of the Law of Fire he was tapping into with Ivana as a medium.
Kael waved his hand and all the flames circled around before sinking into his body. From behind him, out of the end of his waist, eight lion tails rose up perfectly to over his head.
Each lion’s tail was lit with one of the different flames that made up the Law of Fire.
Kael stretched his hand to caress one of his tails. The tail he was caressing had a regular orange coloured fire at the tip.
This tail represented Original Fire, the most common and basic fire in the universe.
The tail beside it had a bright blue fire flickering around it. This fire wasn’t hot, but rather, very cold. It existed as a paradox and contradiction to the Original Fire itself.
Frost fire.
The next tail had a mild and mellow green flame that was burning with a warm emission, not a burning one. The warmth emanating from this fire was comforting to the skin, the type of flame that supported life, not destroyed it.
The Rejuvenation Fire.
The fourth fire was silver, almost transparent in colour. Its edges burned with absent heat and an aura of mystery and danger could be felt from it.
Soul Fire.
Next to it was a black coloured fire burning at the end of Kael’s fifth tail.
Hell Fire.
The sixth fire was crimson and caused Kael’s heart to boil with primal rage and a desire for violence.
This was Red Fire, a simple name but one that fit it based on the effects it had on creatures.
The seventh fire was blueish white, just like the Frost Fire. But this one burned with intense heat and it was clear that anyone who tried to touch it would die a very painful death.
This intense blue fire was simply the second stage of Original Fire. Original Fire 2, basically.
The eighth and last flame was a little different from the others, carrying an even deeper aura of mystery than the soul fire.
It burned with a multicoloured glow, similar to that of the sky and void of heaven.
The flame did not burn upward or downward. Instead, it slowed frozen, as if waiting for the wishes of its wielder to do anything.
This was the most important fire that any fire lion would have to get upon reaching tier 6.
The Warp Fire.
Unfortunately, Kael had not mastered their uses yet.
He knew their effects and the strengths and weaknesses of all the fire types, but to use them to their full potential was something that he couldn’t do.
On one hand, he would have to rely on Ivana’s growth to keep on mastering them. But he could also make some effort on his part to become more proficient in using them.
Also, technically, the Law of Fire was supposed to come with nine types of flames. The Primordial Fox herself was born with nine tails signifying that she was meant to wield nine different types of fire.
Unfortunately, the ninth flame was not something Kael, or any other creature could control or was privileged to wield.
The Fox Fire, a fire that could only be used by foxes when blessed by their Primordial. Kael wasn’t too sure about the natural traits of this Fox Fire but he knew it was as simple as burning.
There must be something about that Fox Fire that made Kael and other creatures unable to tap into its mysterious powers.
Anyways, Kael was still satisfied with his right tails and the fires that came with them. Because of his genius idea of subordinating a primordial, Kael had now advanced leaps and bounds.
He had advantages that no other creature at his power level had. Kael now literally had a separate pool for Fire Essence, another trump card that he could use when all others fail.
And this wasn’t even accounting for the two other Primordial Essences he had stored away.
Kael couldn’t wait to have more Primordials as his subordinates. The Law of Conquering was what made this all possible and Kael was curious about what other mysterious things it could do that he wasn’t aware of.
"Next, I should get that Primordial Peacock that is hiding somewhere. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Hmm, I need to increase the reward for catching these sinners too..." Kael thought out loud.
Meanwhile, he continued exercising his control over the fire types.
Time passed inside his bubble and a full day went by, but on the outside, barely a minute had gone by.
