The first button popped open, and her knees nearly buckled.
She bit back a moan, her body thrumming with electricity.
His lips brushed her ear, but his teeth, oh, his teeth, sent a thrill down her spine that made her heart stutter.
Her frustration grew as he took his time. Slowly, agonizingly, he undid the buttons of her shirt.
Her dress shirt clung to her skin like a barrier, teasing and tormenting her with its presence.
She wanted it gone. She wanted him to feel her, to take her.
And then his hands were on her again, guiding her backward until her body met his.
She melted against him, the hardness of his chest pressing into her back.
The roughness of his breath against her neck made her shudder.
Her sound was strangled as his hand dipped into her jeans, teasing the line of her panties.
His fingers lingered there, grazing just enough to drive her wild but not enough to satisfy the aching hunger.
She couldn't breathe, her body shaking from the sheer anticipation. She couldn't stop herself. "Please," she begged, her voice desperate. "Please."
His laugh was deep, rich, and sinful. It rumbled against her back, making her knees weak. "Oh, darling, you haven't even started begging," he murmured, his words vibrating through her skin.
Her whole world narrowed to him, his voice, his touch, his control.
